Story
Violet is a very sweet and loving girl. She is very drawn to her humans and loves being pet and hanging near you. She is not a fan of being held but will accept being picked up for a very short period of time. She will be happy to see you when you arrive home and she will be ready to rest on your lap during downtime. She enjoys her cat tree and looking out the window watching the neighbourhood entertainment. Violet prefers being the only cat in the home as she is not a fan of other cats. She showed interest in the dog at her foster home but the dog also prefers to keep her distance. Violet is very much a people cat and has a very calm voice. she is a very easygoing cat and a great companion. She is currently being fostered in Aurora. Please visit our website www.pawsaboverescue.ca to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Ahoy matey! I'm Captain Sushi - I'm a sweet senior who's hoping that you will come aboard to learn more about me! I was previously dumped and abandoned in a parking lot with very matted fur before being taken in by Team Cat Rescue. Since being shaved and cared for, I have been able to shine as the affectionate, lovable fella that I truly am! It's been almost half a year now, but I'm patiently waiting for an adopter with a heart as big as my own, who I can shower each day with cuddles and love! I know that I'm all dressed up in a fancy tuxedo, but I promise you that I'm just a laid-back guy who loves to snuggle! I will happily sit on your lap for hours and keep you company while you are watching a movie or having a quiet night at home. Wherever you go, I love to be by your side, and I've been told that I make quite a handsome companion to have around! Aside from cozying up beside you, my other favourite activities include chasing a laser pointer, exploring open cupboards and cabinets, and playing with toys that jingle! In addition to play, I am told that diet is encouraged to help me stay as my most vibrant and healthiest self. I need chicken free food.I have a hoppy run which resembles that of a bunny rabbit; my foster mom says this is just part of what makes me such a unique and lovable guy! I would likely be fine living with a fur sibling, after a proper introduction. I'm even okay with tiny humans, if they're being gentle (though I wouldn't mind an adult-only home either)! If you are ready to open your home and heart to me, Captain Sushi, please contact Team Cat Rescue today! I am all aboard to meet you and embark on a wonderful life together!

Story
Maeve is vocal, sweet, and fiercely independent! She's affectionate when she wants to be, greeting you at the door and asking for snuggles. However, the snuggles must be on her terms, and her fluffy belly is off limits! She's established a lot of routines in her foster home that have successfully pulled her out of her shell and allowed her personality to shine!Maeve is very food motivated. Treats are recommended for her to tolerate all of her least favourite activities: cutting her nails, brushing, and seeing you leave the house. Thankfully, when Maeve gets treats, she always reciprocates the love with a boop and a kiss. Maeve also loves to play fetch! Her favourite toy is the green Starbucks drink stoppers. She can play fetch with these for hours! Maeve's intelligence means that treats need to be kept high up in a cupboard. If not, she will steal them, and either try to rip the bag open or bring it to you, probably while you are sleeping, and drop the bag on your face for treat distribution!Maeve's former owner left several toys and even a window ledge for her adopter to take home. In the right hands, holding many treats, Maeve should come around quickly, and win you over as you earn her trust! If you're willing to give a home to this sweet and sassy kitty, please contact Team Cat Rescue today!

Friendly, Independent, Playful, Affectionate, Vocal, and also tells us that he loves to sit on your lap for attention. He has lived peacefully with a dog, but seems to be stressed out by other cats, so he would likely do best in a cat free home!

DOB: May 2019Meet Casey: Special Needs: Not A Lap Cat Yet, Very Timid Captivating Casey with his dark grey-striped coat comes to greet you when you have a treat or wet food. Unsure about being picked up just yet, approach slowly and he may allow a pet.  He also likes playing with the other kitties, chasing the laser’s red dot, and sprinting after cat springs and cat wands. Now Casey hopes he can go to a loving patient home with one of his playmates or to one with a playful young puss already there.
