Story
Hello, I'm Sheri. I'm a sweet, gentle soul who loves to spend my days lounging and playing. I'm friendly and I'm sure we'll be fast friends. I'm not one for drama, I prefer a quiet, peaceful environment. I'm quite the conversationalist, always ready for a chat. I'm also very good at keeping secrets, so you can tell me anything. I'd love a home where I can show you just how much love I have to give. Adopting me would mean a lifetime of purrs, head rubs, and companionship. I promise to make every day brighter with my gentle nature and friendly demeanor. Primary Color: Grey Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 8.42 Age: 2yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
Meet Mel, the adolescent male tabby. Mel has been observed to be very sweet with people but does not appreciate the company of other kitties. He does love to soak up attention while hanging out in our volunteer`s lap. He is looking to be the apple of somebody’s eye. Could that be you? Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.

Story
Meet Coal, the adolescent gray cat. Coal is bonded with his buddy Pepper as they are the best of buds – one always aware of where the other one is. Both kitties enjoy playing with toys (especially wand toys with feathers at the end) and have been curious about cats that come by the house to say “hi”. Coal and Pepper have lived with children under 12 years old. They also have a history of using the litterbox reliably. To help keep Coal and Pepper together, their adoption fee is 2 for 1! Their adoption fee is also reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund, a fund that draws adopter’s eyes towards often overlooked black cats in Shelters. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week!
