Story
Hello, I'm Timmy. I've spent my days in a cozy corner of the shelter, watching the world with wise eyes. I love a good nap, but I'm always ready for a gentle cuddle or a quiet moment with a human friend. I value my independence, finding joy in simple pleasures like a sunny spot or a soft blanket. I'm looking for someone who appreciates the serene company of a mature cat. If you want a calm companion to share peaceful days, I'm just the friend you need. Primary Color: Orange Tabby Weight: 12.8 Age: 7yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
I adopted Twixie about a year and a half ago from the SPCA when she was just 2 weeks old! She’s a very loving and chatty cat and loves to cuddle! She eats well on a schedule and spends most of her day grooming herself. I am hoping to find a TEMPORARY home for Twixie as I am leaving the country for a month. I will be leaving the end of November and be back mid January. As hard as this is, I wasn’t able to find any other solution than this. I was wondering if there was anything you guys offer for this type of care or if there is someone nearby that is willing to care for my baby while I’m gone and guarantee that I can get her back as soon as I’m back. Please let me know of any solutions. Thank you!

Story
Meet Bean! Known to be an angel in kitty form, this sweet girl recently joined the AFRP family after the loss of her beloved owner. Now, Bean is ready to begin a new chapter in her golden years with a furever family who will spoil her just as much! As Bean is still new to our program, we are still learning more about her everyday! True to calico fashion though, Bean can be a bit shy at first meeting but is quick to warm up. Once she's comfortable, she turns into the ultimate biscuit-making machine! Bean is a total lap kitty and would love to find a home with an adopter who plans to provide said lap! Her favorite past times include naps, snuggles, more naps... and also nature watching. Bean is seeking a home with adult adopters, or with families who have cat-savvy children over the age of 12 at this time as she can be a bit timid with loud noises. Bean will need to be only the kitty in the home, which just means more one-on-one lovings! Bean is currently in a foster home. A meet and greet can be scheduled once an online application has been submitted and approved. Visit our website today at www.animalfriendsrescue.org to fill one out!

Story
Introducing Flower! After coming to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services due to a lack of space this teenage queen is ready for her forever home. Flower LOVES attention but can get overstimulated and show you her sassy side. Flower will need an experienced adopter that understands cat behavior. She loves her cat balls, mice and teaser wands. She may do just fine in a home with a neutral, cat-savvy pup, but prefers to be the only cat at this time. Flower is currently in a loving foster home. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for an online cat application.

Story
Big, bold, and built for snuggles...that’s Talbot! This handsome orange fluffball has quite the comeback story. After being rescued with a serious leg injury, Talbot spent months healing like the brave, resilient king he is. Now fully recovered, he’s ready to rule his forever home with love, purrs, and plenty of lap time. Talbot’s a certified cuddle professional who lives for attention, whether it’s being brushed, petted, or simply lounging beside his favorite human. When playtime rolls around, he’s all about chasing wand toys (especially the stick part), batting at balls, and showing off his moves on the scratching post. With his glorious white ruff and gentle, affectionate nature, Talbot is the total package. He’s social with people, would do well with a cat but also fine solo, but says a polite “no, thank you” to dogs. If you’re looking for a big-hearted orange boy to fill your home with warmth and whiskers, Talbot’s your guy! Interested in meeting Talbot? He is currently at our adoptions location inside Pet Food Express at the Crossroads in Carmel. Fill out our online application today at www.animalfriendsrescue.org!

Story
Meet Wolverine! Wolverine and his siblings came to AFRP as undersocialized kittens, but they have learned to love humans, other cats and dogs in foster care. And they are now ready for their own homes! Wolverine is a fun, playful guy who also enjoys snuggling and petting. He’s become very close with his sister Ella Catzgerald and he is looking to be adopted together with her. He does well with small, cat-savvy dogs. He hasn’t met children but would likely do well with children over the age of 10. Wolverine is currently in foster care. Meet and greet can be arranged once an online application has been received and approved.
