Story
Meet Miss Baby! Miss Baby is a 2 year old ball of fluff who is ready to get out of the shelter and into her next home. Miss Baby's previous person described her as a lap cat who loves treats and to be with her person, giving them kisses whenever she can. Here in the shelter Miss Baby has been having a pretty hard time, in her next home Miss Baby will need a lot of time, patience, and her own set up/space so she can go through this transitional period and slowly start to show you her true self. Miss Baby has experience with young kids and has previously lived with another cat, as long as the steps to getting her adjusted to the house are taken and she is given all of the time she needs, we think Miss Baby would do well living in this kind of environment again! The only very hard no for Miss Baby? NO DOGS! Miss Baby has decided that dogs are not friends of hers anymore and she would like her next home to be canine free. Miss Baby is looking forward to meeting you and, hopefully, coming home soon! Ready to Adopt? Story
Meeko is a sweet senior gentleman who’s been through a lot of change in his life and is now looking for a calm, understanding home where he can finally settle in and feel safe. He previously lived in a quiet home with another cat and would do best in a similar peaceful environment with a slow intro if you have other pets. At first, Meeko may be a bit nervous with new people—and that’s okay. He just needs a little time and patience to adjust. With his favorite people, Meeko will lean in for soft head pets, rub against your legs for attention, and chat away with his adorable, talkative nature. He’s the kind of companion who will happily lay beside you on a chair, making sweet little air biscuits as he relaxes by your side. Meeko is a laid-back, affectionate companion who will thrive with someone willing to go at his pace and give him the time he deserves to blossom. Because Meeko is a bit on the chubby side, he’ll need some help with regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and comfortable. A little brushing and TLC will go a long way in helping him feel his best. If you’re looking for a quiet, devoted buddy and have a soft spot for senior cats, Meeko just might be your perfect match The cat you are adopting is very shy. Patience and a gentle approach will be necessary to form a bond and help this cat feel that they are safe in their new environment. This means that the cat is likely to not want to interact with you at first and will need time to settle in and relax. It is likely to take weeks to months for this cat to become comfortable in your home. Even once settled, they may always be a shy cat who runs from visitors. In order to have the best chance at creating a lasting bond with your new cat, you must go at their pace. When you get home, this cat should be set up in one room of your home, with a door that will stay shut while the cat adjusts. They should be offered a variety of foods and plenty of appropriate hiding places to help them feel safe during this transition. The cat should not be let out of their room until they seem like they are making progress and seem to want to explore more of the house. Ready to Adopt? Story
Hilary’s story is one of resilience and quiet strength. This lovely girl was found wandering the halls of an apartment complex, clearly in need of some care and compassion. When she arrived, Hilary was experiencing significant hair loss along her rear legs and belly, but she didn’ t let that dampen her sweet spirit. With prompt veterinary care, including an antibiotic injection and a switch to a limited ingredient diet, Hilary made a wonderful recovery. Her coat has been steadily growing back in, and she’s feeling better with each passing day. She may need to remain on a limited ingredient diet long-term, but thankfully it’s a simple and affordable way to keep her healthy and comfortable.Hilary is a gentle, easygoing kitty who is ready to leave her past behind and settle into a loving home. She would thrive with an adopter who can continue her care and give her the stability she deserves. In return, Hilary will offer quiet companionship and a warm presence by your side.If you’ re looking for a sweet, resilient companion with a heart full of love, Hilary may be the perfect match for you.OTHER PETS: Hilary would be happiest in a home as your only pet.OWNER EXPERIENCE: Hilary is a pretty easy cat to care for so someone newer to kitty guardianship may be OK with her.KIDS: Hilary is best suited for adults.ACTIVITY LEVEL: Hilary is a very calm, loving kitty.VETERINARY CARE: Hilary is looking forward to meeting her vet, she is a kitty who may require extra vet care due to her skin issues. An adopter with a relationship with a vet is preferred.LEVEL OF SOCIALIZATION: Hilary make friends pretty easily, we anticipate her to move easily into her new home.GROOMING: Hilary takes very good care of her coat, her adopter must keep an eye on her coat.April 20, 2026, 2:25 pm

Story
Meet Babs, a kitty who simply would not give up. Babs defied the odds and survived both hypothermia and starvation. When she was first brought to us, we feared we might be saying goodbye — but Babs had other plans. Not only did she survive, she truly thrived.Lovely Babs went into foster care where she slowly regained her strength and put on the weight she so desperately needed. Her journey is nothing short of a miracle and a testament to her incredible will to live.Babs is now ready to find a home of her own. She is a sweet love bug who adores attention and enjoys being close to her people. Because she did spray in her foster home, we believe Babs would do best as the only pet in the household, where she can feel secure and not have to share her space with other animals. This busy little lady is looking for a home where she can truly be your bestie. She will thrive with people who have the time to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and enrichment to keep her happy and engaged. After everything she has been through, Babs is more than ready for a fresh start — and a family to call her very own.OTHER PETS: Babs MUST be your one and only pet.OWNER EXPERIENCE: Babs adopter should have kitty experience as she's had a rough beginning with us.KIDS: Babs is best suited for a home with teens and up.ACTIVITY LEVEL: Babs is a busy little lady she suggests if you are looking for a couch potato you should look at other TJO kitties.VETERINARY CARE: Babs is looking forward to meeting her new vet and receiving regular vet care. Babs adopter should have a relationship with a vet.LEVEL OF SOCIALIZATION: Babs is a confident kitty who we expect to move pretty easily into her new home.GROOMING: Babs takes great care of her pretty grey tabby coat.April 20, 2026, 2:25 pm
