Blue came to us as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past—but we do know he is a very calm and incredibly cute boy. At the shelter, Blue can be a bit nervous with new people and unfamiliar surroundings. Blue would benefit from a slow, gentle introduction to his new home so he can feel safe and comfortable as he settles in Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You’ll be able to meet available cats in the shelter. Bushy is a sweet and affectionate young boy who was found living outdoors. He has beautiful jade green eyes and a fluffy tail. Bushy is an absolute love and would likely do well in any home. His foster mom writes, "He's amazing, super cuddly and clingy (he follows me wherever I go in my dorm) but also independent and okay when I leave. He loves playing and is always a sweetie."

Parker and August arrived as a very scared, feral kittens who weren't sure what to think about people. They went to foster care, where Parker slowly learned that humans can be pretty okay after all. Parker is still a worried boy, so he will need a calm, patient home where his new people understand that trust takes time. A friendly, confident kitty friend (or two!) will help show them the ropes and reassure them that they are safe and loved. With plenty of patience, gentle encouragement, and consistency, Parker will continue to make progress at his own pace.This sweet boy is looking for adopters who believe in giving shy kitties the time they need to bloom. Watching them gain confidence and learn to trust will be a truly rewarding journey. August is terrified. Once you can pick her up she will bury her head into the crook of your arm. It is going to take a special person to help this little girl settle into her home. After being hit by a car, she suffered significant head injuries and bravely underwent surgery that required the removal of one eye. Since then, Wanda has been healing in foster care.Wanda is a kitty who is very nervous with change and fast movements. She is looking for a home that is quiet with a social kitty or two. Her new family must be savvy with scared / worried kitties.
