Story
Sam approached our family on the street asking for help as a starving, sickly kitten. After receiving the medical care he needed for some minor infections, he quickly blossomed into a sweet and social cat. He absolutely loves attention and makes fast friends with his feline companions; he has also been caught snuggling with dogs! Multiple times a day, Sam will bring us some of his favorite toys as trophies, and we reward him with a game of fetch or simply some love and affection. Sam will need frequent brushing, given how fluffy his coat is. He is also quite vocal and his purr is very loud. The only thing bigger than his heart is his huge poofy tail! Sam must be adopted with his brother Frodo, they are a bonded pair that love each other so much!

Story
Adoptable in Texas only. Adoption fee is $150.00 Personality: Skor is an adorable feline companion who may initially be shy and reserved but has a heart full of love to give. He is not the most confident cat but thrives in the company of outgoing and friendly feline friends. While Skor may not be a cuddler, he enjoys gentle pets and affection from his human companions. Ideal Home: Skor would thrive in a calm and patient home environment with experienced cat owners who understand his shy nature and are willing to give him the time and space he needs to adjust. A home with at least one outgoing and friendly cat buddy would be ideal for Skor, as he enjoys the company of other felines. It's important for his new home to provide plenty of hiding spots and vertical space for him to feel safe and secure. Special Considerations: Skor may take some time to warm up to new surroundings and people, so patience and understanding are key. He may benefit from gradual introductions to new people and environments to help build his confidence over time. Additionally, his new family should be mindful of his preference for gentle pets rather than cuddling and respect his boundaries. Overall, Skor is a sweet and lovable cat who is sure to bring joy and companionship to the right home. If you're looking for a furry friend to share your life with, consider welcoming Skor into your heart and home! This cat is currently being fostered in San Antonio, TX.

Story
Meet Lucy! Lucy is a 10.5 year old black medium haired cat. She enjoys being center of attention and loves cuddles. She tolerates young children and other animals. She loves cat grass and tuna. She enjoys being around people and has a bad case of FOMO (fear of missing out). Lucy had a bladder stone in April 2020, which was believed to have been caused by stress. After changing her diet for a bit it went away and we have not seen any problems with it since. Lucy is spayed and up to date on her shots. Lucy’s brother Leo is also up for adoption. While they do not have to stay together, if you are looking for a beautiful duo, look no further! Apply today to meet Lucy in her foster home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.May 17, 2024, 9:43 pm

Story
This cat is participating in our Camp Purr working cat program, which is designed for feral or semi-feral cats that would be happiest living outside as working cats. Adopters must provide shelter and food/water to these cats year round and need to be willing to work with our Camp Purr team to ensure these cats are acclimated appropriately and humanely to their new environment. Because these cats are familiar with the other cats they are living with currently, we require that all Camp Purr cats be adopted with at least one other Camp Purr cat. The adoption fee for each cat in this program is just $25, and all cats have been spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. HOW TO ADOPT: These cats are available by appointment only to ensure our team has adequate time to assist you. To get started, please answer a few questions here and a Camp Purr Counselor will email you soon. Primary Color: White Weight: 9.4 Age: 2yrs 6mths 0wks

Story
Had Apollo for about three years but moving this year and need to find him a new home. He's super cute (obviously) and a bit of a cuddler (but also likes his own space as cats do). Gets along well with strangers although doesn't like the vet (usually need to give him a calming kit). Last at the vet a few months ago. I also have listed my other cat Hermes on here. They get along but I would no consider them "bonded buddies" as the ARL calls them, so they can go to separate homes or together. Just want to find them both somewhere good before I move (will be moving cross country to a much smaller place).

Story
Spicey was born out of our cat colony. She was outside in an enclosed catio when she was born, then when it started to get cold we brought her in the house. She’s super sweet and gets along with a dog and all the other cats in the home. (We have 4 that we are rehoming due to 2 colony cats getting pregnant before we were able to catch and release them). Litter box trained. We hate to rehome them but 7 cats in the home is a lot.

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
We adopted Ozzy from a home that had big dogs and other cats. We weren’t aware that he is deathly afraid of dogs and our home has 3. We have tried to acclimate Ozzy for 6 months but he is not happy at all and hides away and cries a lot. If he is around just one of the adults in the home, he is great…so cuddly and sweet. If the kids or dogs are around he is terrified. He doesn’t like kids as there is too much going on for him. His ideal home would be a single person or couple with no kids or dogs. I am not sure if he gets along with other cats.
