Story
We have had Moogie since she was a kitten. She has always been a very shy cat, but very friendly and likes to cuddle (when she wants to). She loves to play with laser pointers, feather toys, animal on string stick toys. She also loves to eat and will try and eat your food as well (not aggressively but will snatch it if you aren't paying attention). She is intelligent and will communicate how she wants to be pet by nibbling your hand the direction she wants to be pet.   Unfortunately, over the past three years she seems to have developed medical problems that the vet has not been able to diagnose. - She has a puking problem, where she seemingly pukes once or twice a day. Medication has been attempted but has not resolved the underlying problem. - She overgrooms herself. It's to the point where she has bald spots and is causing scabs on her skin. Also medicated. - She has lots of anxiety. We thought because of her playfulness she would enjoy another cat but that WAS NOT that case.

Story
Meet Lucy! Lucy is a 10.5 year old black medium haired cat. She enjoys being center of attention and loves cuddles. She tolerates young children and other animals. She loves cat grass and tuna. She enjoys being around people and has a bad case of FOMO (fear of missing out). Lucy had a bladder stone in April 2020, which was believed to have been caused by stress. After changing her diet for a bit it went away and we have not seen any problems with it since. Lucy is spayed and up to date on her shots. Lucy’s brother Leo is also up for adoption. While they do not have to stay together, if you are looking for a beautiful duo, look no further! Apply today to meet Lucy in her foster home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Parrot is a lively and adventurous little girl, she loves to perch on your shoulder (hence the name). She came to Charming emaciated and covered in ticks and fleas. She required medical fostering, but is now litter box trailered and transitioning to dry food famously. This little girl knows no fear and likes to cuddle up to her very large K-9 foster brothers. Parrot is also a caregiver, during the time she and her brother were sick she snuggled, held, and cleaned her brother, when we were certain he would not make it through the night. She will make a fabulous, loving, sassy addition to any home. Both Captain Jack and Parrot will run to see you and want to be close. You will be their jungle gym, best friend, and safe place for years to come. It would be amazing for these two to stay together as they have suffered the worst of life together and made it through.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.
