Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We know that our Billie Elish fans are out there somewhere!  Meet ilomilo, a 7 month old girly girl! ilomilo found her furrever person at the young age of 6 weeks, alongside her brother, Chihiro. Sadly, their owner was diagnosed with Stage 3B breast cancer and was unable to care for them with radiation, chemotherapy, and treatment. Without hesitation, we took this duo in! ilomilo is such an amazing cat. ilomilo is best described as oh-so affectionate, friendly, and out going. Sh e may appear shy at first, but once shee gets to know you: she dances at your feet, sticks her paws on your hips for attention, snuggles in bed wiht you, and will be an absolute couch potato with you if you'll let her. On top of her relax mode, she is also playful. Oh, does she LOVE catnip! Flops and rolls all around with her catnip kickers or socks. She loves to chase the laser light and even a flashlight. Not to mention how crazy she goes for wand toys! Sh e is such a silly little girl with the squeakiest meow  and so ready f or her  furrever home.  ilomilo is spayed, UTD on all vaccines (rabies and distemper), combo tested negative for FIV & FeLV, microchipped, flea treated and flea free, dewormed, and litter box trained! Cat and kid friendly (raised with small children), never exposed to dogs, possibly good with proper introductions.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 21, 2025, 7:47 pm

Story
Oh, hello, I didn't see you there! Pleased to make your acquaintance. My name is Sweetpea and I am thrilled that you're here. I may be up there in age, but I can still "get down" (do the kids still say that?) and party! At the same time, I do enjoy a leisurely stroll at my human's side, a good nap here and there, and a nice grooming session (maybe you can brush me?). Don't forget the head scratches, either! So, would you like to make friends with this lil old lady? Our veterinarian has recommended that Sweetpea eat a prescription diet to maintain her kidney function as she ages. Thanks to our generous donors, Sweetpea will come with ~4 months worth of food to get her new family started on the right paw! Story
With 3 legs, Hazelnut will easily warm his way into your heart. Hazelnut was brought to PAWS with a broken right hind leg. His leg was amputated before Thanksgiving and has been healing wonderfully. You’d be amazed how fast he zooms around! He hasn’t figured out jumping quite yet but loves to be carried to the window to see cars and people going by. We’re working on discouraging play biting but he is an absolute lovebug otherwise and loves attention. Hazelnut would do well with dogs, older children and/or cats (depending on what his definitive FeLV status is going to be). He tested positive for FeLV and will require repeat testing in about a month to see if this is a true positive. **Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a virus that is specific to cats that weakens a cat’s immune system. Cats with FeLV can live normal, happy, healthy lives—but with a shorter life expectancy than cats without FeLV. At PAWS, we believe every pet deserves to live out their life in a loving home for whatever time they have. We hope you'll consider opening your home to this special kitty! For more information feel free to check out the FeLV FAQs we have available on our website!** FeLV+ adopters are also eligible for an Amazon gift card after adoption! Story
Shorti Roll is a gentle, cuddly sweetheart looking to snuggle up with you in his forever home! He's an independent guy who loves exploring his surroundings, but if you're around, he will never say no to a good head massage and chin scratches — there's no such thing as too many pets if you ask him. He loves being near his people and will curl up beside you when he's not running around. Sometimes he may try to take your hand hostage and use it as a little pillow for his naptime. When he's feeling playful, Shorti Roll often keeps himself entertained with toys he can chase around, but he especially loves running after wand toys with you. He also loves finding a soft blanket to knead once he's all tuckered out. While he can be a little shy around new people, he warms up quickly to visitors and loves saying hi to anyone who comes through the door. He'll always be there to greet you at the door with a soft chirp and meow. Shorti Roll can't wait to meet you soon!   Age: ~1 year old How I came to PAWS: Found Stray Animal ID#: A179133 Meet me at: PAWS Adoption Center 100 North 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106 &#226&#128&#139215-238-9901 ext.30 **Our Old City Adoption Center prioritizes appointments made by already approved applicants, but we can accommodate browsers and walk-ins if and as our capacity allows.
