Story
A Note From Leo's Foster Parent: In the world of good cats, Leo is hands-down the best. He is curious, inquisitive, fearless and loves to explore around the house. He is a big boy and with a huge personality. In the past three weeks, on numerous occasions, Leo had the entire family laughing out loud. He is the topic of so many conversations and we all look forward to seeing him when we get home. He is a cool suave cat who sometimes sports an aloof attitude, but in reality, he loves kisses and squeezes and he is getting more used to belly rubs. Leo was shy at first but after 48 hours of hiding under the bed, Leo now rules the house as if he has been here all his life. Anyone who wants to adopt Leo should be aware that you WILL inevitably end up stopping yourself in the middle of an email or a movie or whatnot just so you can give Leo a kiss. He can be addicting! It is Leo's world and we are all just living in it.

He is super relaxed and cuddly. He loves belly rubs and does not mind being picked up and cradled! He is expressive and won't be shy to meow for your attention. He is a total gentleman who casts an air of tranquility that is contagious to all who encounters him!

Story
Estimated Birthday - 2/14/2024 Quick to get riled up this is one adorable little ball of fluff. Always trying to one up his siblings, he's ready to take down anyone or anything that stands in his path. He loves to climb the cat trees and wonder what lies beyond the window. When he's not flipping and flopping with his siblings you can find him loudly purring on your lap. His playful personality is contrasted by his love of being a snuggly purr-ito in your arms. He has the loudest purr and the quietest meow out of the trio. He would be most comfortable with a companion or an active household. This cat is available, but is not currently located in the shelter. It is still in its foster home. If you are interested in setting something up to meet this kitten, please text or email our Kitten/Cat Foster Coordinator, Karly at 657-223-5399 or karly@wagspetadoption.org.

Story
This solid little powerhouse will delight you in no time. She purposefully makes her way to where the action is and wants to always know what's going on with everybody in the room. She doesn't mind petting and affection after she learns to trust you, but would much prefer to be a part of things than just sit there getting petted. Small in size, Willow has plenty of confidence and she likes to get warm under the blankets. Being so curious, we're guessing she'd prefer a home with another animal, but humans may be all she needs. Please submit an application to adopt Willow on our website at www.aaloc.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Willow and get to know her a bit. Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on adoption policies visit our cat adoption page at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.

Story
Jasmine, a mackerel tabby with beautiful grey eyes, arrived at AALOC when her owner decided she couldn’t care for her anymore and left Jasmine on the porch. Jasmine is a bit timid when meeting new people but likes to cuddle and play once she gets to know you a bit. Overall Jasmine has a very sweet personality. Jasmine has a condition called nystagmus which causes her eyes to move back and forth involuntarily. This may have been the result of trauma before she arrived at AALOC. It does not require any medication but regular check-ups with your vet would be recommended for Jasmine. Please submit an application to adopt Jasmine on our website at www.aaloc.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Jasmine and get to know her a bit. Good with kids, Good with cats, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Charlie was hit by a car and permanently injured one of his front paws. Fortunately that doesn’t stop this sweet mackerel tabby cat from getting around and living a normal cat life. Charlie can even climb to the top of cat trees and cages. He may be a little slower than a fully functioning four-legged cat but he is very resourceful and determined. Charlie has also recently been diagnosed with diabetes which is manageable just like it is in humans. But because Charlie requires insulin as a maintenance medication and regular vet visits to ensure he stays on a good health path we are looking for someone who can care for Charlie as a permanent foster. This means AALOC will pay all the medical expenses for Charlie but he will live with you as your own cat. Charlie is a bit shy at first but like most mackerel tabbies once he warms up he is a very affectionate feline. He likes being held and is pretty good at sitting on your lap or just reclining next to you on the couch. Mackerel tabbies are known to be very curious and intelligent and overall a very friendly and loyal pet. Charlie would make a great best friend. Please submit an application to permanently foster or adopt Charlie at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Charlie during visiting hours (10am to 3pm daily) and get to know him a bit. For more information on AALOC’s foster programs policies please visit our website at www.aaloc.org or contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org, or by phone (714)893-4393. Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. Scarlett is a darling little girl! She is a very shy at first; she takes time to warm up to strangers but then loves all the attention you can provide. Because she is so timid we recommend a quiet adult home as the best fit for Scarlett. Friendly and playful, Scarlett enjoys the other cats in the room in which she lives and would make someone a wonderful companion. Please submit an application to adopt Scarlett on our website at www.aaloc.org. Story
This little girl is looking for a forever home but it will take just the right human to understand her needs. Taylor is very shy and patience will be necessary in order to provide this sweet cat the time necessary to become accustomed to a new home, a new routine and a new owner without any other pets. Because of this we feel Taylor would fit best in a quiet, adult-only home. Ultimately though Taylor will make it all worthwhile – we know she has the potential to become a wonderful pet and companion. Please submit an application to adopt Taylor on our website at www.aaloc.org. Mia came to AALOC with one eye missing but still has approximately 60% of her overall vision. She also has a very mild case of a neurological issue that causes her to bob her head. Neither of these issues slow this little kitty down! She likes all the attention you can provide and likes to play and be petted. Given the change Mia would make a great addition to your family!
