Story

My daughter rescued a female feral/stray cat (estimated to be 8 months old) several weeks ago. She was dirty, had fleas, and no collar or chip. She checked local lost and found resources without success so she took her into her home to care for her. She took the cat to the vet and the cat is now up-to-date on vaccinations, does not have fleas, and has been chipped and spayed. She is house broken and gets along well with dogs (at least small ones!). My daughter has severe allergies that are getting worse over time even with air purifiers and she cannot keep her. We’re able to make a donation in order to cover the cost of her care.

This sweet girl is "Cleo", lovingly named by her rescuer who helps the cats/kittens at the Cuale River. Just a baby herself, Cleo was abandoned, pregnant and extremely malnourished. She lost her babies but was taken into a loving foster home, where it was clear that she had belonged to a family or other home at some point. Her health and nutrition was improved and now she's ready for her furever home.
