Story
Who are our Working Cats? Some cats are not social enough to live as indoor pets, and prefer an independent lifestyle. These cats have experience living outdoors and are proficient mousers. Since these kitties are happier and more successful outdoors, we put them to work in homes, farms, and businesses where they can do what they do best. All our blue collar kitties are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, ear tipped, and fully vaccinated. Why hire a Working Cat? By hiring a blue collar kitty, you can avoid using toxic pesticides, save money on a pest control service, and provide a home to a cat in need. Adoption fees are waived for our Working Cats. Cats are also more effective than other methods of pest control because they act as a deterrent! If you are interested in adopting a Working Cat, please visit the shelter in person to start the process.

Story
Meet Jade!Jade, has had a tough time living in 2 different homes in her 2 years of life. She is a cat who is sensitive to change and needs plenty of time to adjust to new settings on her own terms.Ideally, she will be left alone for the first few weeks she is in a new home. All choices to interact with her new human should be on her terms and rewarded with petting or treats to encourage a positive association with humans.Oce comfortable, she enjoys petting all over and will accept being held for short periods of time. A cat savvy owner with a mellow home will be best and older kids over 12, if any. She may enjoy another cat friend to show her the ropes. She will love lots of interactive toys and windows to gaze out of. If you have the patience to give a scared cat a chance to shine, Jade is your gal! With a little patience and love, she will be a confident kitty in no time!

Story
Hi! I'm Nina Flowers. I like to be called Nina. Even though I am kinda shy, I love to be petted & brushed while sitting on Foster Mom's lap. I am an excellent biscuit maker & will make dozens while purring at the top of my voice. My purrfect adopter would have patience to allow me to get to know my new home & family slowly. I may never love guests but I will be a cuddle bug with my people! I am a very playful girl & love to zoom through the house & chase wand toys with my sisters & foster brothers! I have some pompoms that I carry around & trill to get someone to play soccer with me. I am a great climber & can climb to the highest level of the tower in short order. I will come running when I hear the treat bag or jar being opened. Treats are the best part of the day! My Foster Mom says I am a very sweet girl & would fit well in a patient loving family. I am from a big family, so I would like to have a kitty companion in my furever home. I would love one of my sisters but would be happy with your playful kitty, too. I don't think I would like dogs or children. If you are patient & willing to go slow & gentle while I get to know you, I would like you to come meet me & see if I would be the purrfect fit for your family.

Hi! My name is Willow Pill. My Foster Mom just calls me Willow & says I am a bit shy but just the sweetest little lady. I am still coming out of my shell bit by bit with my Foster Mom's love & patience. My purrfect adopter would be understanding & patient while I get used to my new home. Slow & gentle is the way we shy ones come to be the best cuddle buddies! I have a quiet voice but quite a bit to say. I talk & call while I am playing with my sisters or just hanging out by myself or if I can't find Mom. I love it when my Mom sits on the floor so I can walk around on her lap rubbing, purring & making biscuits while she gives me love & pets. All of us kitties love to take turns getting brushed when Mom sits on the floor. I even like a short nap on her lap occasionally, too. I am a playful girl & love playing pompom soccer with my sisters or zooming through the house like a herd of horses! My Foster Mom has several wand toys that I love to jump for & chase. My sisters & I like a game with pompom balls where Mom tosses them at the wall & we try to catch them! The best part of the day is treat time! I really do love Churu Squeezy treats & Temptations kitty treats & come running when I hear the bag rustle or the jar open. I would love to come purr on your lap & make biscuits while you love on me. I really would like a kitty companion, too. One of my sisters would be perfect but I would also learn to love a sweet kitty already in your family. I don't think I would like these dogs & children that people talk about because they move too fast & are loud! If you are a patient person who wants a well-behaved little Tuxie Lady, please come get to know me & see if I am the perfect girl to go home with you.

Story
Hello, humans! I'm Freya, a shy and enigmatic feline with a unique personality. Freya lived outside when she was younger and now she basks in the comfort of being a housecat. She's slow to trust, but once she decides you're ok she'll chat and pace around you to ask for attention. She loves head scratches, pets down her back, light belly scratches, and just about falls over in bliss for scratches behind her jaw. She finds comfort in being in the same room as you, silently admiring your company and cherishing the quiet ambiance. She loves other cats and it would be great for her to have a social feline friend. She's a wonderful and gentle cat who just needs an understanding home while she takes her time to comes out of her shell. So if you can appreciate a cat with a reserved nature, yet the power to brighten a room with her enchanting presence, she is the perfect companion. Freya is SO deserving of a wonderful home to call her own, where she can further learn to trust humans and ultimately flourish.

Hi, My name is Jet. I was adopted from the Feline Fix a few years ago, and through no fault of my own, find myself needing a new home. Do you need a work buddy? Someone to watch TV with? Someone to talk to? I'm your guy! I am doing well with my foster family- I like to hang out on the couch while foster mom works or watches movies. Not on her lap, but leaning on her. I am a big guy, but really all I want is love. I really like toys- especially my pink worm toy. At my old house, I was litter box perfect and took good care of my owner. However, I did not get along with my fellow cat, and I probably need to be in an only pet household. I do well with men and women but seem to prefer men.

Story
Introducing Jupiter, the adorable tabby cat born on July 5, 2019, and adopted into a loving home at three months old. Since then, he's been living the indoor life, all cozy and content, with his litter box skills down pat and a microchip for added security. Now, let's talk personality! Jupiter is a real sweetheart, super chill and affectionate once he warms up to you. He's all about those cuddles and human attention, though he might need a little time to feel comfy at first. But once he knows you're a friend, he's all in! When it's mealtime, Jupiter's eyes light up. He's a foodie at heart, except when it comes to chicken liver in his wet food – that's a big nope from him. Dry food is his jam, but he's gotta watch his pace or else it's a quick trip to Barf City. Thankfully, adding a splash of water to his chow keeps everything smooth sailing. As for his ideal digs, Jupiter's a bit of a homebody. He loves hanging out with his favorite humans but also treasures his alone time and perso

Story
Toby and Yzma are a bonded pair of young adult cats who have fallen in love in their foster home! Toby (tiger) is a big snuggler who loves people and watching birds and squirrels out the window. Yzma (white/grey) is shy around people but totally devoted to Toby. They spend hours chasing each other around the house, taking baths and naps together, and generally keeping each other entertained. You'll never be bored or lonely with this pair around, and because they need to be adopted together, their combined adoption fee is discounted to $200. ##1969958##
