Story
Hello, my name is Finch! I was originally fostered through the Feline Fix until I was adopted in the fall, but I was returned a few months later as the adopter concluded I wasn't the right fit. Because of this, I am a bit shy and may take awhile to warm up to you - unless you have Churu treats, which are the fastest way to my heart. My foster says she named me Finch because I chirp nonstop at her. I love watching birds and "my" Betta fish, and most nights I'll curl up on my foster's lap and watch bird tv for cats on YouTube while purring up a storm. As I've started warming up, my mischievous personality has started to come out. If you're interested in adopting me, I may soon start to open doors just to silently watch what you're doing or find a nice, big potted plant to use as my litterbox. I'm unsure about dogs and can't seem to stop myself from being anxious around them, but I've never bitten or clawed any human or animal in my foster home which my foster tells me means I'm "all bark and no bite. I would do best in a home where I am either the only pet or live with one other pet, preferably a cat who is very easygoing and won't push my boundaries too fast. The same goes for my human! Please be patient with me as it may take a few weeks or even a few months to fully relax and start being myself. If you are willing to take things slow and be kind to me, I'll soon try to talk to you nonstop and become the perfect cuddling companion! One additional note from the foster: Finch received nail caps on his front claws at his previous home and is very uncomfortable with these paws being handled. He has no issues with clipping his back claws.

Story
Hello, humans! I'm Freya, a shy and enigmatic feline with a unique personality. Freya lived outside when she was younger and now she basks in the comfort of being a housecat. She's slow to trust, but once she decides you're ok she'll chat and pace around you to ask for attention. She loves head scratches, pets down her back, light belly scratches, and just about falls over in bliss for scratches behind her jaw. She finds comfort in being in the same room as you, silently admiring your company and cherishing the quiet ambiance. She loves other cats and it would be great for her to have a social feline friend. She's a wonderful and gentle cat who just needs an understanding home while she takes her time to comes out of her shell. So if you can appreciate a cat with a reserved nature, yet the power to brighten a room with her enchanting presence, she is the perfect companion. Freya is SO deserving of a wonderful home to call her own, where she can further learn to trust humans and ultimately flourish.
