Story
Hey Good Looking, My name is Goose. I am an 8 year old (neutered male, litter box trained) black and gray tabby with some socks and patches of white. Im also a very long kitty. I am a very active cat despite my mature age. I LOVE a good laser pointer chase and plain old crumpled up piece of paper are 2 of my favorite toys. I prefer to scratch on cardboard scratchers. My mom has tried others but I dont usually touch them. I can be shy at first but once I am sure I can trust you, Ill be sleeping at your feet. In the colder months I like to cuddle right on moms lap or chest. Not much is know about my history as a kitten. I came to my current cat mom through another friend of hers that needed to rehome me when I was about 5 years old because I just wasnt loving her home. I like to suck on blankets. Yes its weird but if I have the right blanket for an outlet all I need to to be pet while I settle into the blanket. I am also a very vocal boy, I just like to talk a lot. MANY more pics avail

Story
Marge absolutely loves being around people, especially if they are scratching her head or petting her, bonus points if she's being spoken to softly at the same time.  She is an easy going, gentle and calm lady. Her morning schedule involving sunning, enjoying breakfast, followed by a nap. Marge's wish list for a family is short, she would like to be the center of the universe.  She doesn't mind being around other animals, but does not like if they are constantly touching her.  She prefers to be approached calmly and not chased (by humans or animals). If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website - https://demisanimalrescue.com/demis-adoption-application/  All cats are spayed/neutered, mircochipped, FeLV tested and up to date on vaccinations (combo shot, rabies - if age appropriate) ##2533542##

Story
Ollie is a super cute little gentleman who knows what he likes.  He is particular to clean litter boxes and not being around chaos.  He prefers when everything around him is tidy and "just so."  He considers himself king of his kingdom and invites his human servant to help entertain him with feather toys.  Ollie also likes sitting in windows and found out that laptops are also nice to sit on. (Pro tip - close the lid, or he might start ordering from Amazon.) Ollie enjoys a mellow and orderly home.  He may give some nibbles if he's overstimulated or if someone tries to get him to do something that was not his idea.  If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website - https://demisanimalrescue.com/demis-adoption-application/  All cats are spayed/neutered, mircochipped, FeLV tested and up to date on vaccinations (combo shot, rabies - if age appropriate) ##2577757##

Story
Rose is adjusting to being a house cat and learning about the finer things in life like sitting in a window, playing with cat toys,  chasing feet that are under the covers, and watching humans.  Although she is still shy, Rose continues making progress in her foster home.  She is becoming quite a talker and has been enjoying being pet.  When her fosters walk in the room, Rose will come meowing to greet them. Rose was a very good momma to her kittens and now deserves all the love and patience, so she can start on the rest of her life as a spoiled little girl.  She's making good progress in trusting people and will even help her foster play with cat toys. Rose will need a patience and quieter home so she can continue her journey of learning how to properly house cat like a boss. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website - https://demisanimalrescue.com/demis-adoption-application/  All cats are spayed/neutered, mircochipped, FeLV tested and up to date on vaccinations (combo shot, rabies - if age appropriate) ##2033767##

Story
Jasper is a nice kitty who will need a patient human to give her time to thrive.  She likes to sit next to her human and have her back end petted.  She also enjoys watching the world go by from a window, hunting feather toys, and being in a quiet home. She might adjust to a calm dog, but otherwise would like to be an only princess. Jasper is not an outgoing, cuddly cat and prefers to be able to set the pace for interaction.  When she is comfortable, Jasper will show off her playful side and sweet demeanor.  It took Jasper a few months to get comfortable enough with her rescuer/foster to feel comfortable and relaxed.  And her foster said it was worth the wait to see Jasper's lovely purrsonality shine through. Jasper is not a feral, but did have a very bad start in life.  She originally had a home and lived with a dog.  Her owner moved & only took the dog with, leaving Jasper to fend for herself outside.  When her rescuer, who had been feeding her to earn her trust, realized the situation, she was able to get Jasper inside shortly before a winter storm.  It's taken time, and Jasper seems like she wants to love and trust.   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website - https://demisanimalrescue.com/demis-adoption-application/  All cats are spayed/neutered, mircochipped, FeLV tested and up to date on vaccinations (combo shot, rabies - if age appropriate) ##2229841##

Story
Tater is nearly 8 years old and she's a really sweet girl. I inherited her July 2025 due to a family friend moving overseas and it was suppose to be a temporary situation. Unfortunately, her family isn't going to be coming back to pick her up and sadly, my life isn't conducive to have any animals full time and won't be changing for another year and a half. She's got a big kitty condo, a scratch post, her litter box with pellets, lots of refill pellets and pee pad that goes on the bottom. She has lots of toys and a bean bag that she likes to lay in when the sun is out. I would really like her to be in a home where someone will be available consistently. Having another cat would be AMAZING. She needs a friend and company in which, I cannot provide. She also has two carriers. One large one for travel and one small for the vet. She's a shy girl at first but once she feels comfortable, she wants to be close and nurtured.

Story
Meet Fergus, the distinguished gentleman with a heart of gold! He’s a bit independent and loves to do his own thing, but he’s always ready to share some love—on his own terms. While he’ll tolerate being held, he prefers to keep all four paws on the ground. Fergus gets along with other cats, but he’s not one to seek out attention—he’s more of a quiet observer. His true soft side comes out when treats are involved - he’s highly food-motivated and will happily show his cuddly side after a tasty snack. Fergus hasn’t lived with children, but would likely do well in a home with older, respectful kids who understand that slow and gentle wins the race! He does best when allowed to initiate interaction at his own pace until he feels comfortable. He isn’t fond of the resident dogs in his foster home. Fergus is approximately 2 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. His adoption fee is $125. He is being fostered in Colorado Springs. If you’re looking for a laid-back companion who knows how to keep it classy, Fergus is your guy! Story
Beastie is a handsome three-year old gray domestic shorthaired cat who is looking for his forever home! His need for love and his silly meow makes him totally endearing! He enjoys running after toys like a soccer player, playing hide and seek, and follows his foster mom from room to room. He also is good at just hanging out and getting attention. Once familiar with you he will climb in your lap and lean on you for head scratchies. He likes to be close to his people but is also happy to do his own thing. Still somewhat skittish and energetic, he will occasionally be a little hyper (full room zoomies) and can bat his paws when startled. He responds well to “no” if he gets too excited. He just needs a break from playing during those times, which he does well with. He has become more trusting, relaxed and wanting love without the competition of additional cats in the house. He did become more stressed and fearful when the other cats were in the home and he is currently on a prescription urinary diet. Beastie’s previous owner rescued him after he was found fending for himself during a Denver snowstorm. He was fearful and frail and she nursed him back to health and kept him along with several other cats that she had rescued from similar situations. He was scared and defensive of the other cats, so he was kept separately. After his owner passed away unexpectedly, her sister became the caretaker of her cats and is currently fostering Beastie. She is not able to keep any of the cats as she is also caring for her elderly father. Beastie needs a patient, caring, and experienced cat person who would be committed to continuing to allow him to come out of his shell and give him the love he needs. He would be best in a home with no young kiddos and no other cats or dogs. He deserves a peaceful environment, and time to adjust, with free rein of a home as a single kitty. He will be missed, but he deserves to have someone care for him as well as his original owner did. Here are more video links of this sweet boy. https://youtu.be/HRmwjiV2xoo?si=E2YXZ5Mu_5wpUYzK Beastie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. He is litter box trained. He is being fostered in Westminster. His adoption fee is $125. Story
Little Spirit – Gentle Soul with a Big Heart Hi, I’m Little Spirit! I’m a shy but sweet tabby boy who has come a long way from my feral beginnings. At first, I might hang back and watch, but with patience and kindness, I’ll start to trust—and once I do, you’ll see my soft, loving side. I’d do best in a quiet home with another friendly cat to help me feel secure. Currently, I’m being bullied by some other cats in the home and I need some time and space to feel safe. I could also do well on my own in the right calm, patient home. What I need: A quiet environment with no young children Time, patience, and gentle love to let me bloom Another friendly cat Could you be the one to help me continue my journey from shy to shining? I’m 2 years old, neutered and vaccinated. ✨ Apply here: https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/catadoptionapplication/ 📌 Adoption fee: $125

Story
Meet Smokey! Smokey is an almost 4-month-old gray kitten who may have some Russian Blue in her — and she’s just as elegant as she is playful. This little girl is full of energy and absolutely loves to jump, pounce, and chase wand toys like a pro. Watching her play is pure entertainment! Smokey does great with other cats and would be thrilled to have a playful feline friend to wrestle, zoom, and grow up with. When she’s not busy playing, she’s busy being irresistibly cute and charming. If you’re looking for a fun, active kitten who will keep you smiling, Smokey might be your perfect match.
