Story
My name is Ripple. They call me Ripple because despite my disabilities they tell me I have I can rip right across that room and up that cat tree! These crazy people tell me that my front legs have a genetic deformity. I do not believe them as it does not affect my day to day life. I can be a little shy but when I want attention I will seek you out. My ideal dream life looks like this. Imagine I had my own cat tree, maybe a friend or two to play with, all the treats in the world, and a human to boss around when I feel like it. Could it get any better than that? I don't think so. I don't mind having any canine friends around but they do have to be on the quieter side. I can't stand those pesky annoying dogs that bark non stop. Do you blame me? My current disability may not affect me in the future but I do need someone who is willing to make adjustments if it does. Please consider me as your next family member. Please apply at www.bossypawsrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $85.00Est DOB: 09/01/22

Story
I see you looking at my cute markings. Did I pull you in? It's what I do best. A lot of people tell me I'm a bit of a flirt. I like the chase but as soon as I caught it I am done with it. I like to bond to my humans very closely but it does take me some time to get close. Some people say I have trust issues. I am not quite sure what that means. What I do know is my cute looks let me get away with everything. My typical day involves chasing my favorite human for attention, sleeping next to a few of my friends, and getting some cat treats. I love other kitties and would love to have a playmate. Preferably a cute playmate though. One thing to know about me is that I do have Cerebellar Hypoplasia. Some kitties have the wobbles very badly. I am blessed and only have a minor case of it. This can still minorly affect me day to day. If you would love to add a cute girl like me to your home then please consider me next! Please apply at bossypawsrescue.orgEstimated DOB: 03/18/2023Adoption Fee: $75.00

Story
Date of Birth: 8/6/22Adoption Fee: $100.00Date Posted: 8/8/23Meet our very handsome mini-panther, Sam! This little warrior has endured much more than a kitty should have to face. He survived on his own in the North Georgia mountains for the first four months of his life. He was then surrendered to the local animal control facility. He lived in a cage for the next four months of his life passed over again and again. At 8-months-old, he was finally adopted. Sam tried to be the best kitty for his new family. He fetched balls just like a puppy to the delight of his caregivers. He snuggled close to them at night. Despite that, it would not be little Sam's "happily ever after". Sam's new family declawed him despite warnings about the pain that it was cause him. Sam still tried to be a a good boy but he was a typical older kitten who occasionally jumped on furniture and knocked things onto the floor. His human mom became frustrated that he did not lay quietly by his side like his 8-year-old feline brother. The family decided that euthanasia was the best solution because "going back into a cage at the shelter would be too hard for him". A kind person contacted Pippi's Place to ask for help on Sam's behalf. We could not turn our back on him. Sam is currently in a loving foster home. He is an energetic 1-year-old who enjoys games of chase and wrestling with other young adults. He ADORES cuddling with his foster mom. If she goes too far out of sight, he finds her and "talks" to her in his best kitty voice to let her know that he would like to spend some time together. Due to the fact that Sam spent much of his time outside as a young kitten, his foster mom believes that it would be best for Sam to be able to move freely between the inside and outside in a safe, protected area due to the fact that he is declawed and cannot defend himself. Sam has retained his fun-loving, sweet spirit despite the trials he has experienced in his young life. He continues to love without limits and spread joy everywhere he goes. Will you be his true forever family? Few kitties are more deserving.

Story
Date of Birth: 1/25/19Adoption Fee: $100.00Date Posted: 3/1/24Hi! My name is Rayne. I am a stunningly beautiful lady with a coat of pure white fur accentuated by striking and unique eyes; one is a pale blue like the shallow waters of the ocean and the other is pale green like a beautiful leaf just sprouting in the spring. I lived with a family since I was a tiny kitten. One day, they decided they didn't want me and took me to a animal control facility. I didn't understand why they left me there because they told the people that I had always been a really good girl. I was terrified. I curled up in a corner of the cage and kept my head down. I growled a little when people tried to pet me but I never once swatted or tried to bite. I knew that was not nice. I would turn my huge, dilated eyes up to look at people but that is all. After a few weeks, the rescue lady came to pick me up. She took to her house where it was calm and quiet. I got in a box near the ceiling of the foster room so that I could watch everything and still feel safe. The rescue lady talked to me softly when she came into the room. She let me sniff her finger before she tried to pet me so I knew that she cared about me. After a few weeks, I started pressing my head into her hand and flipping over on my side rubbing my body against the side of the box to let her know that I really wanted her to stay and keep petting me. A few days after that, I came down from my perch when she came into the room and walked right over to her for pets. I even rubbed against her legs and then climbed into her lap for a little bit! I am growing more comfortable every day. You should know that I am FIV+ but it is no big deal. I can live with other cats with minimal risk of transmission. The research shows that FIV kitties live normal lives, both in quality and duration. My foster mom attached some links so you can read a little more about FIV. I will need for my new family to be patient with me when I first come home because another change will be a little intimidating. However, I will quickly learn that I am safe and loved. I will be the very best companion and friend. My foster mom already loves me. She knows you will too. Please come see me soon...it will be wonderful to meet my truly forever family.FIV Information:https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/fiv-cats-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-faqshttps://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv/

Story
Mimosa is a sweetheart! She purrs the minute a person walks into her cat room. She is shy initially to new people then approaches and wants nothing more than to be petted. She would love to be by your side all day but is independent enough to be content alone . She is happy as an indoor cat only. She was a stray that had 2 sets of kittens under my porch. I was able to re-home the second set and bring her inside. She gets along with our two cats and dogs. She is not one to be assertive so if you have pets they would need to be gentle towards her. Unfortunately, one of our cats can be too dominate and we have had to separate them. Mimosa is truly a very special, lovable cat that needs a forever loving home.

Date of Birth: 1/4/22Adoption Fee: $100.00Date Posted: 4/4/24Hi! My name is Jesse. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was adopted from Pippi's Place when I was a tiny baby. I am a little sad because my humans started having money problems so they had to return me to the care of the rescue. It will be great to find a family again where I will be loved my whole life. I can be a little shy when I first meet you but that doesn't last very long. I am a playful girl. One of my favorite things is playing with objects that make noise when they move across the floor, things like straws or Lego pieces (not the super tiny ones, of course!). I also really like to hide my treasures. Don't worry, I always return them (within a week or two \xF0\x9F不). I proudly walk into the room with the item in my mouth as if to say, "Look what I found!". I meow softly if I am looking for one of my toys or if I want to find my humans to spend time with me. I enjoy pets but am even more content just to sit beside you and let my purr motor run. I am also just fine to lounge peacefully on a soft blanket all day. I am a really low maintenance kind of girl. In fact, I am so relaxed and agreeable that even trimming my nails is easy! Are you looking for a loving, relaxed cat who wants physical closeness but does not need tons of affection? Well, that's me. I will greet you at the door when you come home ready to be your friend and companion. Come meet me today!

Story
Date of Birth: 8/17/23Adoption Fee: $100.00Date Posted: 4/19/24Hi! My name is Toby and I am looking for my forever family. You see, I used to have a place to call my own. The rescue people know that because I am SO friendly. They decided they didn't want me so they left me in a Goodwill parking lot. I was frightened being in the big world all on my own but I didn't let it break my spirit. I held on to my happy, cheerful disposition knowing that someone would come along to take care of me. There are some really great reasons that you will want to adopt me. First of all, I have the most handsome combination of spots and stripes. You will really enjoy petting my soft coat while we hang out together. The second reason is because I am 8-months-old. You know what that means, right? I am old enough to let my true personality shine yet I still have the playfulness of a kitten (without those really crazy zoomies, of course!). The most important reason you will want to adopt me is because I am the best kitty friend you will ever have! I adore my humans and welcome all forms of love and affection. Scratches under my chin or on the side of my face...awesome! Nice, long stokes all the way down my back...cool! A little cuddle time...fantastic! I will jump right on your lap as soon as you sit down. I am going to be a very loyal companion. Please come meet me today!

Story
I know what you're thinking already, another senior let's move on to the kittens. Give me a chance first. My name is Mama. They tell me I'm 8 years old, but I still feel like I'm 2 years old. Those nasty rainy days have me feeling a little gross though. Just don't tell anyone. I have acquired a few servants where I am living now. They ended up bringing me in from outside so I can finally live lavish as I should. Attention is one thing I demand daily. Once you walk into a room, I will immediately greet you for attention. I mean after all this is my house, right? If you are prepared to give your love and food to me, I think this may be a good agreement. My favorite food is Tiki Cat food. You may have to limit my intake on that stuff.. I would love to have another kitty friend or not. I am okay being the only owner of this house. I would not mind smaller dogs but please limit them. I do need my beauty rest on a nice fresh cat tree. What do you say can I adopt you? Apply today at bossypawsrescue.org Adoption fee: $85.00 Estimated DOB: 08/14/2014

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Savannah is a beautiful girl with gorgeous green eyes.  She was saved from a high kill shelter, where she was dumped, scared and all alone. She's a sweet and happy girl that enjoys a good scratch behind the ears!   If she is overstimulated she can become unpredictable so she needs to be in a home with no young kids.  Savannah loves to rub on your legs and be petted but on her terms.  She needs a loving home where she can be herself.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please note: All CatRangers cats and kittens are spayed or neutered as a part of their adoption package, which also includes testing for feline aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (Felv), age appropriate vaccines, flea and other parasite treatments and a microchip. If you adopt a young kitten that is not old enough for surgery, we will schedule a surgery appointment after the adoption. Special breed descriptions listed in our kitty¹s profiles are based on information we have about their other family members when available, as well as traits that match those breeds. Most of our cats and kittens are mixed breeds unless specified otherwise. How our Adoption Process Works: We take loving care to help match the right kitty with the right family.  1. Ideally identify a couple of kitty candidates on our website, use the advanced search capability to find what you need.  You can also tell our team what you are looking for and they will help with suggestions.  If you are seeing our kitties on an adoption website you may want to pop on over to www.catrangers.org where we often have even more pictures. 2. Fill out an application online at catrangers.org. Once we have an application our adoption team can work with you to arrange appointments for either virtual or in person meetings with candidate kitties.  Kittens are kept in foster homes to make sure they are being properly socialized.  Visits may be virtual, at foster's home or at the CatRangers Center in Buford. 3. Our adoption team conducts a brief phone call with you and later, a virtual home visit, to make sure you are fully prepared for your new kitty. Our team also checks with your vet and personal references.   (We really want to you and our kitty to have the very best chance for a lifetime of loving success.) 4. Once application is approved and adoption fee is paid, we reserve the kitty you have selected. The adoption fee includes all vaccines up to the time of adoption. Kitties have been Felv/FIV tested, treated for fleas and parasites, and have been microchipped. Your adoption fee includes a spay/neuter if your selected kitty has not already been altered. Some kitties are very popular and you need to move quickly to select those you are interested in and get through the process for your first choice as a furever friend. However, please do be patient with our volunteer team. And while you are on our website, if you are interested in volunteering or fostering, please fill out applications!
