He was originally found in a dumpster; however, we knew that was not where he belonged as he is incredibly social. After being rescued, he has been given proper vet care and is ready for a home of his very own. During his vet appointment, we learned that he is FIV+. However, that does not stop stop him from giving you all of his attention and he is incredibly ready for a home of his very own! Interested in adopting? I've been homeless for a while now. They call me Walnut. I'm complicated, but who isn't! I like things on my terms, but why's that a problem? I'm actually pretty great kitty when you get to know me, but hey, no kiddos... not for me. I mean, they're cute and all, like me, but no thanks. I like cats, but I'm the boss so , may not work... we can meet and all and see...   Oh how I long to be a buddy of someone again.... have a TV on in the background and a home of my own... I appreciate PPNK for letting me hang out in the playroom where I have access to the outdoor catio... pretty cool. I still like my little bed and, well... if only someone would see how beautiful I am and how I really could be perfect for someone who is perfect for me.  I've been waiting for a home since November 2024.  I am VERY playful and funny, but spunky!!  I am likely the boss of cats, so I may not do well w/ cats. a sleepover is preferred  All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter. PPNK decided to rescue her and hope her next chapter will be with a committed family. Sophie is microchipped and adjusting to her temporary new home, a cage.  She will do best in a mature home and mature older children. She doesn't need a lot, just a friend and someone that talks nice to her and loves her on her own conditions.  Apply for a sleepover- Her adoption fee has been reduced.  All our animals receive professional veterinary attention including spay/neuter, testing, vaccination, deworming, food and shelter. Please contact Andrea (andrea@focusonthedetails.com) for more information about this pet.Application is required - Please go to www.ppnk.orgAdoption fee $150 (or 2 for $275)Huckleberry and Finn came in through one of our local shelters, underweight and not quite ready to wean for the shelter staff to be able to manage them. After a few days on formula, they were back on track and ready to learn how to eat meat - that’s when they started to really thrive. Her brother was adopted as soon as they were available, but Finn has been overlooked... for way too long! Don't let this girl keep growing up in foster! Click to see her baby pics - she's still a kitten at heart even though she's not tiny any more, and she would love to be part of your family. She's good buddies with Columbo, as they have both been waiting in foster for someone to notice them!  We LOVE seeing our babies adopted in pairs… having a familiar sibling/buddy helps ease their transition to a new home, and gives them a constant companion for life.  For more great reasons to adopt a pair, visit http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens. Are you ready to let Finn runaway with your heart? Apply at http://www.ppnk.org.
