Story
It is with great sorrow that I must re-home my 10 year old cat Cookie. My fiance is highly allergic to cats to which medication cannot correct. She is a sweet cat albeit a loner. She prefers to be by herself as a pet but has gotten along fine with a Maltese dog. She is not a cuddler but does enjoy resting across my leg in the recliner. Cookie has recently had her shots. I will provide an automated feeder and litter box. She eats Science Diet for senior indoor cat kibble throughout the day but never very much. I also give her one small can of Purina Pro Plan for Sensitive Skin and Stomach each afternoon. I put her on this food as she was pulling her hair previously. That stopped and she has been back to a beautiful coat for several years now.

Story
Clark is part of a bonded pair and will NOT be adopted without Rosetta. Please do not contact us about Clark unless you are also interested in adopting Rosetta. Clark Male (neutered) Short-haired black Clark is a large short-haired black neutered male who was born feral to an abandoned chocolate point Siamese mother (adopted from us and now known as Narcissa Malfoy). [Clark does NOT have blue eyes.] We never thought Clark would domesticate, but once he was neutered, he started to settle down. He isn't a cuddler and he doesn't like kisses, but he LOVES to be pet. He is BONDED with Rosetta Halftail and we will only adopt them TOGETHER. No children under 12 (they make him nervous) and no dogs. He is great with other cats.

Story
Tantra Female (spayed) Short-haired dilute tortoiseshell ~11 1/2 years old Tantra got her name based on her behavior in carriers. She HATES carriers. It takes her several hours of “Leave ME alone” for her to calm down. She is not fond of dogs or other cats, and would not do well with small children. Tantra HATES change. She will need a patient adopter who can let her get used to a new dwelling and bond with her slowly. This will take WEEKS with Tantra, not days. She loves full body rub downs when she is feeling playful. She can be very talkative.

Story
Ghost has already lived a long, hard life. He is now looking for a comfortable home where he can just be spoiled. Ghost was a tom cat who was taken in by a nice couple that gave him shelter, food and care. He was diagnosed with FIV and heartworm. The couple contacted us when they knew Ghost would need further care and a good forever home. We worked with the vet team at IndyHumane who conducted radiographs, testing, neuter and eventually teeth cleaning and extraction. Ghost is now heartworm antigen negative, but still heartworm antibody positive. Ghost is a big guy that is not the best at grooming himself. He will need someone who can give him regular brushing. He is shy, so we want to find him a quiet home with no dogs and no small children. He does fine with other cats. Ghost is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV. He is FIV positive. He is approximately 6 years old. Adoption fee = $75

Story
Please do not send inquiries. These cats can be visited at PetSmart in Carmel/Westfield (14720 US 31N) during store business hours. Applications are available at the store. Amewlia and Pawdrey are sisters from a feral colony in Clermont. The homeowner had taken care of the colony, then people kept dumping intact cats and the neighbor didn't fix his, so the colony expanded. The homeowner had the adults scheduled to be fixed, and we took the kittens, which she had socialized from birth. WE WILL ONLY ADOPT THESE GIRLS TOGETHER - BONDED PAIR. Amewlia is a short-haired mackerel (striped) torbie female who is shy, but loves her canned food. She only lets us pet her at feeding time. Otherwise she runs away. She loves her sister and they are often cuddling and playing together. Pawdrey is a short-haired classic torbie female who loves canned food and attention. While Pawdrey will come up to you head first asking to be pet, she does NOT like to be picked up. She is very sweet. These cats have not been around dogs or small children. We insist on a cat-only household with children over 12. Amewlia and Pawdrey are spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped. Approximate date of birth is April 4, 2023. Adoption fee = $75 per feline ($150 total)
