Story
Lagertha is a strong girl who is curious about the world out there and enjoys playing with her siblings. She loves to play and is food motivated! She is very shy when she first meets someone new. She is not an 'in your face' cat, but loves to be near her foster mom. She has been raised with rabbits, cats and large dogs and does well with them all. She is looking for her person, and once she finds that person, we know she will be a forever companion. Adoption includes spay, shots (rabies, core, FeLv), booster shots of 4in1 and FeLv, microchip, FIV/FeLv testing (negative on both), and deworming.

Story
Hello, I'm Pizza, a curious feline who loves exploring every nook and cranny. I've got a brave spirit that makes me unafraid of new things, and my independence means I'm perfectly happy amusing myself. But don't let that fool you, I can be quite the goofball when the mood strikes! I'm FIV positive, but that doesn't slow me down one bit. Adopt me and let's start our exciting journey together. She is FIV+, healthy, and may be housed safely with non-FIV cats with proper introductions. FIV information: https://www.fivcatrescue.org/fiv-what-is-fiv/ Adoption includes spay/neuter, shots (rabies, 4in1, FeLv), booster shots of 4in1 and FeLv, microchip, FIV/FeLv testing (negative on felv/positive on fiv), and deworming.

Story
Hi there, I'm Turbo, the American Gladiator of the feline world. I'm a sweet, goofy, and playful kitten. I once tried to prove my independence by challenging a vacuum cleaner to a duel. Big mistake. It was a funny sight, me darting around, the vacuum chasing me. I'm a bit shy, but once I warm up to you, I'm as loyal and gentle as they come. My curiosity may have gotten me into a pickle before, but it also makes me a mellow and friendly companion. Adopt me, and I promise to keep your life full of laughter and love. Adoption includes spay/neuter, shots (rabies, 4in1, FeLv), booster shots of 4in1 and FeLv, microchip, FIV/FeLv testing (negative on both), and deworming.

Story
Biscuit is a 4 yo neutered ginger male. He loves being around his people. He is happiest sleeping in your bed and getting belly rubs. He uses a scratcher and litter box without issue. Prefers kibble and a small amount of wet food. He is inquisitive and likes to play but is always down for a good nap. We have found that he prefers to be the only cat in the home so he can have all the attention. He would be great with a family that has kids or as a devoted companion to an adult/couple or elderly owner.

Story
GusYou have to admit that I was a cutie-pie as a kitten. I was about two months old when I was brought to HSHC as a stray. I got adopted a couple of weeks later and lived with this owner for 4.5 years. I am now 4-years and 8-months old, and my owner surrendered me back just after Christmas. Despite my nervous nature, I`ve shown remarkable resilience. I learned to enjoy cuddles and being petted, and I even used the litterbox without fail. My owner adopted me during COVID-19, and everything was initially great. But in the previous 2 years, I experienced BIG changes: my owner got a divorce, she went back to the office for work, she starred in a play and was gone a lot, and then she found a new boyfriend. I had been sharing two litterboxes right next to each other with the other cat, but then we got one robot litterbox to replace the others. Hey! A fella has a limit to the amount of change he can handle! I am a sensitive guy who craves a quiet home with someone who can offer regular, consistent, cat-approved care. If you earn my trust, I love cuddles and pets . I`m now in a Roaming Room with two roommates who are also shy. The interviewer lady (IL) visited when I was curled up in a little Kasa. I am only 10 lbs., so I fit into many small hiding spots. I`m also clever, so I can make a break for an open door. The trouble is that I panic when I get into big, unfamiliar spaces. I didn`t move a muscle when she offered her finger for me to sniff. But I let her pet me with her pencil and, later, with her hand. I hope you get the picture. I am a sweetie wrapped in a bit of anxiety with a need for my person to be home more often. 2-4-25

Story
ClassyLet me tell you a little about myself. I will be 9-years-old in March and am a lovely black and white girl. I am very petite and look much younger than the calendar says. My photos are accurate reflections of my physical charm. Rather shy at first, I am a sociable kitty. I love being with my humans, just hanging out and being close to them. I let the interviewer lady (IL) pet my head, and we had just met! She giggled when she saw me sitting by my water dish, dipping my paw into the water and drinking from it. Hey, I`m just being lady-like. I am not a big fan of being held, but I`ll always want to sit close to you. Although it`s not my favorite activity, I let my owner cut my nails! I`d say I am not a high-energy cat; relaxing someplace soft is more my idea of a good time. I am nuts about finding small, enclosed spaces in which to curl up and nap. One of my personality quirks is loving to sit on top of and in luggage! I am also partial to high-sided, stainless steel litter boxes. I can`t stand those litterboxes with hoods on them. You might be impressed when I tell you I am an alumnus of HSHC. This is my second time living in the cattery. I first arrived in September 2021 because my owner was moving. I got adopted in October and lived with this owner for four years. However, she surrendered me on January 21 due to my always having had a sensitive tummy. Hill`s GI Biome diet and using a puzzle feeder have helped me. I am excited to think my forever human is out there, reading my story and planning on adopting me. Can`t wait! 2-12-25

Hello, I'm Queenie Belle. I'm an independent lady with a curious spirit. I love exploring new nooks and crannies, sniffing out hidden treasures. When I'm not on an adventure, I enjoy lounging around, basking in the peaceful quiet. I'm not one to cling, but I do appreciate a good chin scratch every now and then. I'm self-sufficient, but I still crave companionship. I'm looking for a forever home where I can continue my explorations and share my discoveries. With me, every day will be a new adventure. Adopt Queenie Belle, and let the adventure begin.

Story
Phoebe was born August 5th 2023. She enjoys boxes, high places, looking out of windows, and napping on people’s laps. She’s very vocal and energetic. She also enjoys chicken, turkey, and cheese as treats, but isn’t a fan of fruits. She doesn’t get along well with my chihuahua but she’d probably get along well with a more relaxed dog. Phoebe would do well with someone who has had or has other cats and/or someone who can help her get some of her energy out so she’s not bored.

Story
Helpful Hannah is a playful and curious cat just over a year old, with a special talent for "helping" with sewing and craft projects. Whether it's batting at thread or cozying up in the middle of a project, she's always ready to lend a paw. With her friendly personality and love for being involved, Hannah is the perfect crafting companion. However, Hannah may do best as the only kitty helper in the house. She can be aggressive with other cats and enjoys her own space. Adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccines (rabies, HCPCh, FeLv), booster shots of HCPCh, and FeLv, microchip, FIV/FeLv testing, and deworming.
