Story

Luther is a handsome panther who just turned 2. He and his litter mates were born in their foster home. They have all gone on to their furrever homes and Luther wonders why noone has wanted such a handsome boy such as himself.  He is a little on the shy side, but has really come out of his shell over the past few months. His bestest buddy is his foster brother Puff, but he gets along with most of the other cats. Sometimes he needs to be redirected when he's not taking cues from his foster sibs. He's never seen a dog, but he would probably be fine with one. He's also never been around children, so that might be an adjustment for him, but not out of the question. He almost always looks concerned, but he loves to play with the other cats and with toys. He's also been caught chasing his tail on occasion. He will jump up on the ottoman, but he's not really a cuddler and doesn't care much for being picked up and held, but will allow it. He would do fine alone or with other cats. Story

This handsome dude is a real charmer.  After being abandoned by his previous owner when she suddenly moved out of the country, he joined his foster family and made sure everyone knew he was the boss!  He is fine with other cats after a slow introduction, but would probably prefer to be a one and only.  When he was examined by the vet, it was discovered that he had a significant heart murmur.  It does not slow him down at all.  He is so sweet, full of life, lots of fun, and craves attention from humans.  The hope is that he will grown out of the murmur, but if not, he may not live as long as we would love to see.  He deserves a wonderful life with a loving human, regardless of his condition and he will be a wonderful companion for some lucky somebody!  Do you have the heart to share your home with this super cat? Diego is a BIG boy with very kissable cheeks. He adores being on your lap, next to your lap and thinking about getting in your lap. He will sleep next to you and nap next to you. He is just learning about toys and playing but is way more interested in his person and getting attention than anything else. He is making up for lost time in getting all the love that he can. At some point he had to have been somebody's baby and they dumped him out. He is a love and not a fighter and life for him outside was not easy. He ended up scarred, beaten up and with bite marks. Clearly he did not fight back. Being the easy target, he was attacked brutally by other cats and ended up with FIV. What does that mean? Very little other than if he get sick, he needs to see the vet. He doesn't need medication, extra care and should live as long and happy of a life as a non FIV baby. Sebastian and his bonded brother (adoptable together only) are big snuggle bugs. They are excellent with children, even when 3 year olds chase them around the house sometimes. They would never hurt a fly, occasionally having their tail pulled or a very tight hug from a little one. They are super kind and loving to all new people. Sebastian is the extroverted one, he enjoys all new social connections. Sterling will sometimes stay away for a while but once he's convinced the person isn't leaving he will be fast friends with them. He's just a little more reserved with strangers. They both love to climb cat trees and watch the street. Our "guard cats" if you will. They would make great family pets! And first family cats if that's relevant. They're so docile and sweet. We rescued Sebastian and his bonded brother Sterling but unfortunately with a baby on the way cannot keep them. They must be adopted together.

We moved to Farquay-Varina brought our older car Nala with us. On 4/5 she disappeared we searched everywhere inside abd out. 10 days later i was checking for Nala at Aspca in Wake without luck but a 5 year old female decided I belonged to her and I fell in love adopted her On 4/22 we were out front gardening and heard faint meows (note we been searching and calling for a week) Incredible she was still alive and had snuck into a tiny hole in our unfinished attic. With some work we got her out thin and clingy. We can’t get put her up for adoption, she is 12 years old and we adopted her 5 years sgo. Spency is very sweet likes to hang with you on the sofa and will sleep with you part of the night. Uses litter box, no bad behavior. Affectionate to all but our okder cat. I hate to take her back to the shelter and i will supply litter box, food, toys, ect She deserves a good home is fine with neighbors children just doesn’t want our older cat Please consider adopting a sweet cat.
