Story
I’m a sweet and laid-back girl with the most expressive yellow-green eyes. I love meeting new friends and can’t wait to be petted, scratched, and showered with affection. My favorite thing? Making biscuits in your lap—it’s my special way of showing love. I’m a bit of a nap enthusiast, spending much of my day snoozing in a cozy corner, but I’m always ready to join you on the couch for some evening TV time. I’m playful too, especially when you bring out a wand or a fun toy. I’ve lived with a kitty friend before and should do well with other pets, especially with a slow introduction. If you’re looking for a serene, loving companion, I’m your perfect match! Est. DOB July 1, 2021 Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with shelter paid registration.

Story
My official Alley Cats & Angels name is Monkey, but please call me Maxie! I'm a gentle, laid-back girl who loves peace and quiet. I get along great with the other adult cats in my foster home and enjoy zooming around and playing with them. When it’s nap time, you’ll probably find me curled up under the bed covers, my favorite cozy spot. I always make sure to let my foster mom know when it's time to eat—especially when there are treats involved! One of my favorite activities is sitting by my foster mom while she works on her computer, soaking up chin scratches and welcoming belly rubs. I show my appreciation by making lots of biscuits. If you're looking for a sweet and loving companion, I'm your girl! Est. DOB: September 12, 2013 Eligible for Foster-to-Adopt: Please ask about our FTA Program. Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with rescue paid registration.

Story
I'm an awesome kitty no matter how you slice it! I’m a friendly and talkative fellow, full of purrs, who loves a good snooze on my foster’s lap. Belly rubs and underarm scritches? Yes, please! An intrepid explorer, I love being up high—one of my favorite places is the summit of a cat tree. I enjoy playing fetch with jingly balls and leaping extra high for string toys. Zoomies ensure that I get my cardio as I gallop around the house. For leisure, I love to sunbathe and show off my gorgeous golden eyes in the sun. An active guy, I’d do best in a home with a playmate whose energy matches my own.. Est. DOB: August 3, 2023 Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with rescue paid registration.

Story
I’m a charming black and white tuxedo kitty with a penchant for play and cuddles! My favorite pastime? Playing with spring toys, of course! I adore batting and pouncing on spring toys, keeping myself entertained for hours. When I’m ready to unwind, I love nothing more than curling into a cozy lap for some quality cuddle time. My playful antics will keep you smiling all day long. Watch as I eagerly chase treats across the room, showcasing my playful and adventurous spirit. And don't miss my adorable pink chin, giving the impression that I’m permanently sticking my tongue out—just one of my many endearing traits! Est. DOB: July 31, 2023 Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with rescue paid registration.

Story
I'm a loving black kitten named for the white "star" on my throat. Nicknamed the Belly Rub Queen, I'll flip over as soon as I see you for some belly rubs. I'm very chatty--but not loud--and will chirp and mew my way into your heart! I’m a sweet and athletic girl who will chase any dangling wand toy. The elusive red laser dot that I can never seem to catch gives me the zoomies as I try to pounce on it! I get along well with other kitties but would likely do OK as an only cat as long as I was showered with lots of attention. I also get along well with cat friendly dogs and think I’m hot stuff when I get to sleep in the bed with my two canine foster brothers! Est. DOB: August 10, 2023 Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with rescue paid registration.

Story
As you can see, I’m a beautiful tortoiseshell girl with a stunning patchwork coat and striking amber eyes. My foster mom says I have the biggest personality! I’m playful and curious, always ready to try out new toys. I’m also quite talkative and love having little chats! I can be a little cautious at first when meeting new people, but once you start petting me, my purr motor kicks in, and I could happily enjoy being petted for hours. Once I’m safe and secure in my forever home, I’m sure to be the biggest cuddle bug ever! Est. DOB November 18, 2023 Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with Home Again microchips with shelter paid registration.

I’m a GORGEOUS 4-year-old tuxie girl looking for a very special person to call my own. Let me tell you a little about me. I was rescued from a hoarder and spent most of my life living on a wire shelf in a laundry room. I have also fought some big health battles, including having my teeth removed. But NONE of that has stopped me from loving life and loving people! I completely bliss out when I get kisses and pets, and I’ll just about deafen you with my purr! I am also quite chatty and enjoy long conversations with my human friends. And since I’m no longer stuck in a small room, I love playing with my toys. Though I must stay, my time in lockup helped me develop a great imagination that I use when I play. My ideal home will be one where I’m the only pet. And because I still have a few health issues, I occasionally need medicine, but I NEVER complain (I’m also good about nail trims). Especially when there are treats involved! Adopt me and you’ll be constantly amazed and inspired by my tenacious affection and gratitude for every moment I spend with you. Contact Best Friend Pet Adoption at adoption@bfpa.org , and they’ll tell you more about me and how you can adopt me. Dogs:  None, don’t even try Other cats:  None, wants to be an only Kids:  Over 6 with kitty experience She eats Royal Canine Select Protein PR dry food. An 8.8lb bag costs $88 and lasts 3 months. She takes half a 5.4mg apoquel as needed for itching. 30 tabs cost $81.   Dori has also had all her teeth removed, therefore, there are no future dentals, saves money :).  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 13, 2024, 6:55 pm

Now you know about me, let’s hang out and tell me all about you!  Contact Best Friend Pet Adoption at adoption@bfpa.org and tell them you want to meet me. Story
We rescued (literally) these two kitties on January 23rd. We went out for a walk with our dog, who is a Rottweiler, and heard a kitten in despair, we looked for the kitten who was crying and found it about 50 ft up a tree! When trying to coax the kitten out the tree, other neighbors commented that it had been up there for 2-days! We were dismayed to learn this! Anyway, we could not leave the kitty up the tree, so we hired a tree service and paid them to come get the kitty out of the tree. While waiting for the tree service another kitty popped out of a burrowed hole at the base of the tree. So, the tortie kitty was under the tree and the black kitty was up in the tree. Needless to say, we have them in our dog's crate, but our Rottie is struggling! We need to find a safe place for these kitties to go, we cannot keep them, and they are not safe with our rescue Rottie. They are as sweet as can be, very affectionate, litter trained and appear to in great health.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.York DOB:  April 2023 Neutered Male         Short Hair        Black You know, cuddly kitties are great, but sometimes you just need a goofball to make you laugh and lift your spirits. So, we should get to know each other. My name is York. As you can see, I am quite handsome, but I also have a very serious side. That is, I’m serious about playing! Mouse toys, string toys, jingle balls, and even a crumpled ball of paper will keep me entertained for hours!   I would love a forever home with another cat buddy (or cat-friendly dog) for me to play with. But I can be an only pet, as long as I get plenty of play (and cuddle) time. I would be a great buddy for anyone age 6 and up! Contact Best Friend Pet Adoption, and they’ll set up a time for me to show off my exceptional hunting skills for you. I’m Selena. And I don’t mean to brag, but I'll check a lot of boxes off your wish list for a cat. I’m over the kitten stage but still love to play—toy springs are my favorite.  I am independent, but I would love to hang with you and catch up on our favorite shows together on the couch.  I really get along well with my foster brothers, but I’m also okay being an only kitty. I’d be great in a house or apartment—just make sure I have a window to keep an eye on the birds and squirrels! I promise to fill you in on the daily neighborhood gossip when you come home. I’m very neat and tidy in my surroundings and am great at entertaining myself.  So, let’s meet and see how our introductions go! Just ask my foster mom; she thinks I’m awesome! I’m an active boy; let’s call me busy.  Whether it’s chores around the house, a project, or watching TV, I’ll be involved in any activity and offer helpful hints.  I get along with everyone — kids, dogs, and other cats, too.  I’m the whole package!  My energy can be kind of extra, so other pets will need to be ready for my rambunctious self. I’d love to meet you and show you all my attributes and skills.  Once I wear myself out, you’ll have a total cuddler who will catch up on the latest shows together.  So, let’s hang out and see if it’s a match!
