DOB: April 28, 2018 Hi, I’m KarmelKorn! As my name implies, I’m a sweet and well-loved feline companion. Previously adopted as a kitten, Alley Cats & Angels welcomed me back after a change in my adopter’s situation. I’m a big fan of feather toys and large catnip kicker toys that I can lick, kick, and bite. I get along great with the other kitties in my foster home and love tall cat perches and long naps in front of sunny windows, waking up for the occasional bird-watching session. I’m a well-mannered gentleman—but do have a knack for opening cabinet doors! There’s a lot to love about me, but one notable feature is my expressive tail. When I’m happy (like at mealtimes), I may even kiss your feet! PurinaOne weight management food helps me watch my figure. I've had all my teeth removed—so no dental visits or tooth brushing for me! I can be a little skittish around young children, so a quieter home would likely suit me best. *Eligible for Foster-to-Adopt—Ask us about our FTA program. Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with rescue paid registration.

DOB: May 12, 2023 Hi, I’m Lottie! As you can see, I am a regal black mini panther whose portrait would look right at home painted on the wall of an ancient Egyptian tomb. And although I appear to be all black, I have some beautiful reddish markings that appear when I’m in bright sunlight! I was rescued by a veterinarian as a single kitten and quickly learned how to play and mingle with other cats and kittens in my foster home. I don’t even mind the old resident dog! I started out a bit shy, but have come out of my shell since. I love to lay next to you and watch TV as long as I’m allowed to do it on my terms. If you're considering adopting me into your family, I would do best in a home with older children. Let’s meet and get better acquainted! DOB: August 3, 2023 Hi, I’m Brisket—an awesome kitty no matter how you slice it! One of five kittens rescued in south Raleigh and a shy guy at first, it didn’t take me long to appreciate the finer things indoor life has to offer. I’ve been lavished with extra play time, tasty treats, and special TLC sessions, resulting in a handsome feline friend who loves my humans. Now I'm a talkative and loving fellow who likes to keep my foster company when they work from home. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn’t take me long to get comfortable in new places. One of my favorite pastimes is playing fetch with jingly balls and occasionally other toys. Even something ordinary like a mesh sink strainer can be a fun toy if you have the right attitude! Zoomies ensure that I get my cardio as I gallop around the house. And for leisure, I love to sunbathe and show off my gorgeous golden eyes in the sun. Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with rescue paid registration.

DOB: July 31, 2023 Hi, I’m Gustavo! I’m a magnificent black and white tuxedo kitten who’s as gentle as I am big! The largest of my littermates, I’m a big-hearted soul who prefers the tranquility of a calm household without rowdy animals. Despite my size, I’m a gentle giant who craves affection and attention. You’ll often find me by my foster mom’s side, sleeping soundly every night, displaying my loyalty and love. While I enjoy the excitement of the feather wand, I also value my solo playtime to explore and engage with toys at my own pace. I have a unique way of asking for attention—licking hands to express my affection and desire for connection. Gustavo and his five siblings were rescued from a feral colony where TNVR is underway. DOB: July 31, 2023 Hi, I’m Little Cricket! I’m a charming black and white tuxedo kitten with a penchant for play and cuddles! My favorite pastime? Playing with spring toys, of course! I adore batting and pouncing on spring toys, keeping myself entertained for hours. When I’m ready to unwind, I love nothing more than curling into a cozy lap for some quality cuddle time. Often engaged in a game of chase with my brother Mr. Clyde, my playful antics will keep you smiling all day long. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Dori DOB:  2019 (Est) Spayed Female               Short Hair                Black & White Oh, hello there! I’m Dori. I’m a GORGEOUS 4-year-old tuxie girl looking for a very special person to call my own. Let me tell you a little about me. I was rescued from a hoarder and spent most of my life living on a wire shelf in a laundry room. I have also fought some big health battles, including having my teeth removed. But NONE of that has stopped me from loving life and loving people! I completely bliss out when I get kisses and pets, and I’ll just about deafen you with my purr! I am also quite chatty and enjoy long conversations with my human friends. And since I’m no longer stuck in a small room, I love playing with my toys. Though I must stay, my time in lockup helped me develop a great imagination that I use when I play. My ideal home will be one where I’m the only pet. And because I still have a few health issues, I occasionally need medicine, but I NEVER complain (I’m also good about nail trims). Especially when there are treats involved! Adopt me and you’ll be constantly amazed and inspired by my tenacious affection and gratitude for every moment I spend with you. Contact Best Friend Pet Adoption at adoption@bfpa.org , and they’ll tell you more about me and how you can adopt me. Dogs:  None, don’t even try Other cats:  None, wants to be an only Kids:  Over 6 with kitty experience She eats Royal Canine Select Protein PR dry food. An 8.8lb bag costs $88 and lasts 3 months. She takes half a 5.4mg apoquel as needed for itching. 30 tabs cost $81.   Dori has also had all her teeth removed, therefore, there are no future dentals, saves money :).  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 24, 2024, 9:46 pm

Now you know about me, let’s hang out and tell me all about you!  Contact Best Friend Pet Adoption at adoption@bfpa.org and tell them you want to meet me. Story
We rescued (literally) these two kitties on January 23rd. We went out for a walk with our dog, who is a Rottweiler, and heard a kitten in despair, we looked for the kitten who was crying and found it about 50 ft up a tree! When trying to coax the kitten out the tree, other neighbors commented that it had been up there for 2-days! We were dismayed to learn this! Anyway, we could not leave the kitty up the tree, so we hired a tree service and paid them to come get the kitty out of the tree. While waiting for the tree service another kitty popped out of a burrowed hole at the base of the tree. So, the tortie kitty was under the tree and the black kitty was up in the tree. Needless to say, we have them in our dog's crate, but our Rottie is struggling! We need to find a safe place for these kitties to go, we cannot keep them, and they are not safe with our rescue Rottie. They are as sweet as can be, very affectionate, litter trained and appear to in great health.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.York DOB:  April 2023 Neutered Male         Short Hair        Black You know, cuddly kitties are great, but sometimes you just need a goofball to make you laugh and lift your spirits. So, we should get to know each other. My name is York. As you can see, I am quite handsome, but I also have a very serious side. That is, I’m serious about playing! Mouse toys, string toys, jingle balls, and even a crumpled ball of paper will keep me entertained for hours!   I would love a forever home with another cat buddy (or cat-friendly dog) for me to play with. But I can be an only pet, as long as I get plenty of play (and cuddle) time. I would be a great buddy for anyone age 6 and up! Contact Best Friend Pet Adoption, and they’ll set up a time for me to show off my exceptional hunting skills for you. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Finley DOB:  December 2022 Spayed Female               Short Hair        Tabby w/white Oh, hello there! My name is Finley. I’m a former stray kitty who got a taste of the good (indoor) life, and now I’m looking for my forever home! Of course, being on the streets meant honing my hunting skills, so I’ll need a full toy box (mice, laser pointers, balls, etc) so I don’t get rusty. And, ideally, I’d have another kitty buddy to play with, especially while I’m still getting used to being a house cat.  I would make a great friend for a child (age 6 and up with some kitty experience) who wants a snuggle buddy and playmate. When you contact Best Friend Pet Adoption (adoption@bfpa.org) and tell them you want to adopt Finley, you’ll get a sweet girl who will joyfully greet you when you come home and who will purr and purr while snuggling with you!  Dogs:  Must have kitty manners Other cats:  Good with others, needs a friend Kids:  Over 6 with kitty experienceVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 24, 2024, 9:46 pm

As you can see, I am a very beautiful girl, and I can’t wait to be friends with you! I’m easy going and can get along with anyone (even dogs—with a proper introduction). I would love a home with another cat to play with, since I’m still young and pretty active. But I can be an only pet, as long as I get plenty of attention and there is a good selection of toys to help me keep my hunting skills sharp. Of course, it’s not all about being busy: I have a kind, cuddly side to my personality, too! After I’ve worn myself out from playing, I would love to snuggle up on the couch and binge watch our favorite shows! Story
Meow Meow is a super sweet cat just looking for a loving home! We think she might be around 10 years old, she was abandoned by one of our neighbors and we are unfortunately unable to take care her in. She's an indoor cat and is extremely low maintenance! I'd love to see her go to a home where she could get the attention she deserves (a nice sunny window to nap in would be a plus!). Please contact me if you're interested in giving a sweet kitty who just wants some human attention a loving home! I am asking for a $30 adoption feed just to make sure she goes to a good home who will treat her right, but that fee is going to be donated to the SPCA of Wake County! I'm also completely open to waiving the fee if I meet you and know you're a good person! Times are tough, and I overall I just want Meow Meow to go to a safe home!
