Story
Kitty showed up on our doorstep as a starving kitten. We fed her, brought her the vet for shots and had her spayed with the intention of keeping her as an outdoor cat. As winter came, she came into the house more and more. Currently she is an indoor/outdoor cat. Kitty enjoys her time outside. She plays with the neighbors cat and loves to hunt mice and lizards. While indoors she likes to be right where the action is watching everything going on. While she is not affectionate, she loves to play, watch TV with us, get brushed and even sleeps in bed with us. The best fit for her would be in a home where she could go outside often. She will come with litter box, cat tree, brush, scratch pad, water fountain and automatic dry food feeder.

Story
This lovely boy is my 3 year old Angus. I adopted him from a woman whose cat had given birth under her house. I reared him from 7 weeks old alongside his brother, Murdoc, also pictured. Angus is a sweet, shy boy who will likely be doing a bit of hiding while he acclimates. He’s very talkative and affectionate, and his favorite place is to be cuddled up next to you. He is and always has been solely an indoor cat. His hobbies include bird watching and kneading on a willing participant’s leg. While he was raised with other cats and dogs, I think he would benefit from a home where he is the only animal. He’s a bit of a pushover, so other cats tend to bully him. That being said, I think he could get on well with a polite cat or well-behaved dog. Angus is the sweetest boy, and I’m so very sad to let him go. It’s through no fault of his own, and I only want the best for him. Hopefully he can find someone’s lap to keep warm.

This distinguished gentleman is my 3 year old Murdoc. I adopted him when he was just shy of 8 weeks old, and he’s been a character his entire life. He’s bold, a little odd, and always up to something. Murdoc has a strange penchant for stealing things of like shapes, i.e. toothpicks, q-tips, and chopsticks. He’s an affectionate cat who isn’t overly clingy, so when he’s not hanging out, he’s happy to mind his own business. Murdoc is good with well-behaved dogs and friendly cats. He is and always has been solely an indoor cat. I genuinely believe Murdoc is a one of a kind cat. It is through no fault of his own that I have to let him go. Hopefully, he’ll make you laugh and ponder, too.

DOB: August 3, 2023 Hi, I’m Brisket—an awesome kitty no matter how you slice it! I’m a friendly and talkative fellow, full of purrs, who likes a good snooze on my foster’s lap. As one of five kittens rescued in south Raleigh it didn’t take me long to appreciate indoor life and get comfortable in new places. As an intrepid explorer, I love being up high—one of my favorite places is the summit of a cat tree. I enjoy playing fetch with jingly balls and leaping extra high for string toys. Even something ordinary like a mesh sink strainer can be a fun toy if you have the right attitude! Zoomies ensure that I get my cardio as I gallop around the house. For leisure, I love to sunbathe and show off my gorgeous golden eyes in the sun. An active guy, I’d do best in a home with a playmate whose energy matches my own. Fully vetted: tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted); treated for intestinal parasites, fleas, and ear mites; FVRCP+FeLV vaccinated (initial vaccination and booster); and rabies vaccinated; spayed/neutered; microchipped with rescue paid registration.

DOB: July 31, 2023 Hi, I’m Little Cricket! I’m a charming black and white tuxedo kitten with a penchant for play and cuddles! My favorite pastime? Playing with spring toys, of course! I adore batting and pouncing on spring toys, keeping myself entertained for hours. When I’m ready to unwind, I love nothing more than curling into a cozy lap for some quality cuddle time. Often engaged in a game of chase with my brother Mr. Clyde, my playful antics will keep you smiling all day long. Watch as I eagerly chase treats across the room, showcasing my playful and adventurous spirit. And don't miss my adorable pink chin, giving the impression that I’m permanently sticking my tongue out—just one of my many endearing traits! Little Cricket and his five siblings were rescued from a feral colony where TNVR is underway. Story
Due to unforeseen circumstances we find ourselves having to Rehome our sweet kitty, she has been with us since she was a kitten. Luna may take some time warming up to a new environment and people but once she does she loves to sit on your lap and just sleep. Especially if there are blankets involved, she loves to chase lasers and go after anything crinkly. She likes to find a “spot” and just stays there most of the time if cuddles aren’t an option. She’s fine with our 80 dog, and we used to have another cat that passed away a few years ago who she tolerated.. she’s not a huge fan of other cats but after an adjustment period has been fine with anything. We have an infant who had pulled her tail a few times and she will meow but hasn’t done anything past that so I believe she may do better in a home with no small children. She is 7 years old and is mostly black, she has a white spot on her chest and belly, she is on the smaller side maybe 7-10 lbs.

Meet Emmi! She is about one year old, and one of the sweetest cats we've ever met. Emmi is fully litter box trained. She loves to chase all kinds of toys, basking in the sun and sleeping on your chest. Sprinting after the toys you toss is definitely her favorite way to play. She absolutely adores people, purrs as soon as you enter the room. She does not get along well with other cats, not sure about dogs.
