You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Maya is blind Maya was born into a feral community in our neighborhood.  When she was 8 months old, I was able to capture her after realizing she was blind.  She only weighed 4 and a half pounds at that time.  She has been with us for about 2 months.  During this time, she has had her left eye removed, has been spayed, and now weighs a little over 6 pounds. She has very little sight in her right eye. However, Maya is amazing.  She has mapped my entire house using just touch, sound, and her whiskers.  She does not like to be picked up or carried because it disorients her but loves to be on the chair with you and to be petted, sometimes sitting in your lap.  She knows exactly where her food, water, and litter are.  She has never gone outside of her litter box.  She loves to play with toys.  I have several that either smell of catnip or make noise so she can easily find them.  She is a beautiful black and white cat with a very loving  nature.  She gets along well with my dogs, even playing with them.  She is very gentle and has not scratched me in play.  She has scratched me when I pick her up because it confuses her.  She is so smart and is so happy for all she has been through.  Just a wonderful cat.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 8, 2026, 2:43 pm

She is very playful and friendly. She purrs loudly whenever gets rubbed especially her belly. Her markings are stunning with her leopard spotted belly. Her birthday is May 16th and she has already had all her vaccines. She does great with her litter box and loves her cat tree. Barley is a beautiful tuxedo cat that was born on 2/11/21. He can be affectionate to people - on his terms - but he does not get along with other cats or dogs.He would need a 1 pet household to live in. He is up to date on his shots, and he has recently had blood work done at a vet and come back in good health.He can be affectionate and loving, but will like his own cat tree or beds to lay on and be left alone. If you are laying down on a couch or bed, or sitting on a bed, he does like to cuddle. He can be pet on the head when laying down in a bed or on a person, but does not like the rest of his body being pet then.If he is rubbing against you he will allow his whole body to be pet with no issues. This includes his tummy. I want him to have a good home and life.

I rescued 1st picture Mia (black with a little white on belly) & 2nd picture Ali (solid black) at 8 weeks old. They are 2 years old now. Both are spayed, they are sisters. I have a Male cat who chases them all the time and causes cat fights. I have tried everything to calm it down. They love playing with the laser light. They are picky eaters, they love Inaba tubes. They still have their claws to protect themselves. They are indoor cats, with the exception of Ali, she wants to go outside. I only let her out & watch her & then I pick her up and bring her back inside. Mia doesn’t like outside. Once they are safe, they play with each other. And sometimes sit in your lap. They don’t like to be held, you can pick them up, but put them down when the cry. I love my little girls, they need to be the only pet, no other pets to be around. Their fur is so soft and silky, I love petting them when they are in my lap. Please give them a great home so they can relax and be a great pet.
