I was left behind and had to try and fend for myself outdoors. It was terrifying. I was starving, filthy and in desperate need of veterinary care and of rescue. Hi - I'm MONICA! I'm estimated to be 2 -3 years young and I am very sweet. My life started out really tough when I was not treated well in the home where I lived and then I was left behind with my kittens when my people moved away. Outdoors I had no idea how to survive and I was starving and terrified. I am so grateful to have been rescued by Advocates 4 Animals! Thankfully, I am now spayed and vetted and ready to find a well-matched, loving, forever home to call my very own! I love to snuggle. I love to sleep in cozy pet beds. I love knowing that I have food and I love rubbing against your legs. I haven't shown much interest in toys yet, mostly I just like to be near you, to lounge around near sunny windows and in cozy pet beds and just relax. I enjoy watching YouTube "Videos for Cats" sometimes, too. I do prefer a home without small children and without dogs. Due to past trauma I am scared of dogs. I will do best in a calm, quiet home and a home where I know I am loved and cared for.
