Story
This lovable misfit of a boy deserves a happy-ever-after!! Tywin was born a stray, with neighborhood people caring for him. But the people lost their home when the whole neighborhood was demolished by the city, and then Tywin lost his home AND the people he knew. Despite living his whole life outdoors until now, you’d never know it! He’s a well-mannered kitty who absolutely loves affection and will come up to you to nuzzle and lick you. He's very polite, willing to sit at the other end of the couch and wait until you're ready, but give him the signal and he'll come in close, purring loudly, then lean against you and settle in contentedly. Tywin likes to be in the room where you are. Tywin does have some scaring from his previous life outside, and all of his teeth had to be removed due to a massive infection from abuse. His fangs were all snapped off at the jawline! Because of all the scary things he went through earlier in life, commotion and loud noises will still send him under the bed or sofa for a little bit, but this sweet boy is finally learning it's safe. This sweetie is a friendly boy who enjoys scratches and pets. Please note, he is NOT a fan of dogs that get excited... They are scary and make him nervous and upset. He does get along with his foster’s free range rabbit without issue though! This sweet boy truly deserves a happily-ever-after! Included with the adoption is his neuter, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!

Story
Wyndham has been with our foster group for over a year, waiting patiently for someone to notice her. Quiet and snuggly at home with her foster but quickly overwhelmed at adoption events, this poor little lady has been overlooked again and again. This sweet little girl deserves for someone to give her a quiet, safe home, a loving lap to curl up in, and a chance at love. Our vet estimates Wyndham to be just a year and a half old. Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. Story
**Courtesy Post** Please email all inquiries to thecopaceticcat@yahoo.com. The Copacetic Cat is based in Darke County but offers initial meet and greet video chats through Facebook or Zoom. Nero is a very skittish, sensitive boy. He does not seek out pets from his people, though he will accept some during dinner time or if you catch him sleeping. He’ll need a special person who understands he’s timid. He loves to play and will chase a wand toy. He just needs more one-on-one time than he’s been given being a part of a large group of fosters. He’s been neutered, combo tested negative and is fully vaccinated and litter trained. Nero would do better if adopted with his pal Conan. They’re not bonded but do enjoy each other’s company greatly, and having a friend in a new home would help Nero acclimate. Dogs and children would not be ideal for this nervous fellow. A quiet home would be best.

Story
Mirabel is a sweet little girl. Though shy at first, her true personality comes out once she is comfortable. Be prepared to give her all the attention & cuddles she demands! She wags her tail like a dog when she's happy and it's the cutest thing. She is very playful & competitive (if a cat can be) especially with the teaser wand & laser. She is the first one to the toys every time! She will flip & fly thru the air like a gymnast when trying to reach the teaser! When she's not busy showing off, she likes to snuggle up close & keep you nice and warm. She prefer a quiet home in order to be the happy girl she's meant to be. At just 1 year old, she has so much love to give after she knows she's safe and loved. You may apply to adopt Mirabel at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Their adoption fee is $75 and she is vaccinated, FIV and FELV tested negative, microchipped and spayed. Many cats do well alone, but they often do great in pairs as well and can benefit from having a feline friend. Because of this, our adoption fees are $75 for one kitten or cat and $100 for two when adopted at the same time. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

One look into her mesmerizing eyes and you will find you are needing to add some Chicken into your life! You may apply to adopt Chicken at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Story
Pebbles is a wonderful girl with a heart of gold. Pebbles started with us shy and timid, but has blossomed into an out going little lady who gets along with all her feline friends! She came to us with two breaks in her tail and it isn't known how she got them even though she's only 10 months old. Her future humans will need to be gentle and patient with her while she adjusts. Although, she has begun to come around quite a bit and loves ear scratches that she asks for politely with her dainty little meow. Pebbles is purrfectly comfortable around other cats and would prefer a house with other cats. Pebbles wants nothing more than a loving, affectionate family she can trust! Pebbles likes to play, zoom around, and sunbathe. She is a litterbox pro and a good eater! Pebbles is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, FIV and FELV tested negative, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $75. Pebbles hopes you will apply to adopt her today at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt! All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Heidi is a very shy girl at first, but once she warms up to you, she is so friendly and affectionate. Heidi and her sister recently came into rescue after their owner passed away. We believe that she is approximately 6 years old and was well cared for and loved in her past. She will hide from you until she is comfortable and can trust her new humans. Heidi is easily enticed by a can of wet food cracking open, so if she is hiding all you need to do is grab a can and crack it open. Heidi is not much for playing like a kitten would be, but she does love the laser light game of chase! She would prefer to be the queen of her castle and not share your love with others! You can apply to adopt Heidi at PawPatrolDayton.com. Her adoption fee is 75 dollars and includes up to date vaccinations, microchip and spayed. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Meet Stitch, a kitten whose journey from shy observer to playful companion is just waiting for the right guide. With a spirit as vibrant as his curiosity, Stitch is slowly unveiling the layers of his personality, showing us that every moment of patience is a step towards a beautiful friendship.Stitch has begun to embrace the joy of play, his eyes light up at the prospect of a new adventure. He's mastered the art of the litter box, making him a tidy and conscientious addition to any household. Food time for Stitch is a solo affair; he prefers to dine alone, showing a bit of hiss if his space isn't respected. Holding him isn't on his wishlist......yet. With new faces, Stitch chooses the path of the cautious observer, opting to watch from the shadows until his heart decides it's safe to venture out.Stitch needs a forever home that mirrors the patience and understanding he requires. A tranquil environment, perhaps with adults or families with older children who appreciate a slow and steady approach to bonding, would be ideal for him. He seeks a companion who understands that trust is built on the foundation of time and gentle encouragement. If you believe in the power of patience and the beauty of earning a kitten's trust and affection, then you might just be the hero of Stitch's story. He promises to be a loyal companion, filling your home with playfulness and purrs, all in good time. Stitch is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $75. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Don't let her name fool you, Sassie is all but sassy! She is a super sweet, gorgeous calico, or tri-colored female with striking yellow eyes. Her fur is super soft and thick, she does not shed a ton, but does shed some. It will take some time for Sassie to get fully acclimated to her surroundings. She may play hide and seek with you during her first week or two. Once she warms up to you, she will roll on her back to get as much petting as possible. Sassie loves attention and enjoys looking out the window. She does not love other cats, so if she would have any in her adopted home, she will need your patience with taking her time to adjust. We are unsure of her likeliness to be around dogs. Sassy is a medium sized girl, eats well and uses her litterbox. She is updated on her feline vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is 75 dollars. Please complete an application at PawPatrolDayton.com if you would like to meet this very special girl. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Hi, this is Rosie! She is looking for her new best friend! She has recently shown some aggressive behavior to strangers and is looking for a quiet home that can give her a chance to warm up to people! Don’t be mistaken, she is a very needy cat! She loves to follow her favorite people around the house and lounge with them. In terms of energy, she’s very mellow. Rosie does love to play but will make you do the work! She’s litter trained and has never had issues with using it. She has traveled long distance and does great in carriers! She doesn’t jump onto counters and sticks to couches and beds. Rosie has lived with small, older, and calmer dogs but will not do well with puppies and dogs that like to chase. She has joint issues on her back and legs and is taking daily medications for it. Please share Rosie’s story to friends and family - we have had no luck finding no-kill shelters for her and we need all the help we can get!
