Story
Aries is a very sweet but extremely shy and anxiety prone to loud noises. She is a 2 year old young adult cat. She needs a calm home without young children and dogs. She is very cuddly when she wants to be and we are heartbroken we have to part with her but we feel it would be a better quality of life for her. Aries has had to have most of her teeth removed due to dental disease so she does better with a wet food diet and she prefers fancy feast. Although she will nibble on dry (we gave her indoor cat by Purina as she loved the chicken flavor) if its left out. Serious inquiries only and supplies will be given.

Story
"Mal" is Foster-To-Adopt fill out an application at https://www.lifelinecats.org/adoptable-cats To ensure the best possible match and help you get to know "Mal", LiFeline Cat Rescue would like to schedule a Meet & Greet at your earliest convenience. Please fill out an adoption application and we will contact you. The Meet & Greet will also allow us to answer any questions you may have about their care and what to expect during the foster-to-adopt process. Do you like a lady with strong boundaries? Do you love a rags-to-canned food success story? Then Mal might be the purr-fect companion for you! From her humble beginnings sneaking in and out of Rural King, she has now retired from having and raising kittens and is now ready to embrace the safety and comfort of an indoor home! Mal has recently discovered the joys of playtime and has gained enough confidence to vocalize and let you know when she is hungry and ready for her canned food feast! Mal is beautiful and can be very sweet, but she will need a quieter home without small kids. She will tolerate other cats but definitely isn’t a fan of dogs. Patience and kindness will be key to helping “Mal” settle into her new environment. If you are ready to open your heart and home to this deserving lady, and give her a fresh start and a permanent place to land, please let us know! She may just be the perfect addition to your family and her human she has been waiting on!

*Courtesy Post! Contact Jayme by emailing jayyress@gmail.com for more information or to adopt. This is a courtesy post; this kitty is not with Blue's Mews.* Meet Ripley, the 13-year-old sweetheart with a heart of gold and a meow that means business—especially around mealtime! This doll baby was lovingly surrendered when her previous owners could no longer care for her, and now she’s looking for a quiet, cozy home to call her own. Ripley is a very lovely lady. She is incredibly affectionate, adorably drooly (thanks to a bit of dental disease), and delightfully chatty—she’ll keep you company and always remind you when it’s dinner time. She has a goofy nasal-sounding purr due to her unique breathing, but it’s totally normal and just adds to her charm. Ripley does have a special diet—Hill’s RX Digestive Care Dry Food and Purina Complete Essentials wet food with a sprinkle of Miralax to keep things running smoothly—but all her needs are simple and manageable and very low maintenance. She’ll come with her favorite water fountain, which she adores for fresh sipping all day long. If you’re ready to welcome a gentle, loving, and one-of-a-kind feline companion into your heart and home, Ripley is waiting to meet you! If you're interested in sweet miss Ripley, please contact Jayme directly using the email listed above!

Good with cats, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Hootie is a friendly, funny lanky guy who loves to play--hard. He's very athletic and the red dot doesn't stand a chance against him. He's pretty shy at first but warms up quickly. He's a "kitty parkour" master, jumping and swinging from his cat tree and perches, especially during a bout of the zoomies. He enjoys being eye level with you. He likes to shrink away, flatten himself out and army crawl when you give him pets. He seems to like the attention, and it's just an odd quirk. You can actually "pet" him with your voice and have him falling over and rolling around on his back. He does not want to be held, but will tolerate a few seconds of it with some vigorous head scratches. Hootie unfortunately has stomatitis. He will need a special home that can keep an eye on his gum health and know when he needs to see a vet for his comfort. Following 6 extractions in May 2025, his dental health is much improved. We are currently trying Maxi Guard Dental Gel to keep the inflammation in his gums minimized. Hootie would do best with no kids or older kids and may befriend a docile dog, though he's never been around one before.. He needs to go to a home with another cat. Included with the adoption is the kitty's neuter, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! Please note, Hootie's foster lives in Midwestern Darke County. It's ok though, video chats are a GREAT way to do initial meet and greets! To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!
