Story

This big lug Bullwinkle is a sweetheart that was found roaming the streets. Bullwinkle is friendly and loving to seemingly any person he encounters. He enjoys a good chin scratch, occasionally demands attention with headbutts, and will curl up and nap on you if you sit down with him. He will even hop up on your shoulder sometimes! He also likes a good jump on the counter even if he slightly makes a mess with it. He has been very happy living an indoor life. Bullwinkle is FIV+. He has a patch in front of his right ear that may just never fill back in with hair completely, but the FIV doesn't seem to be hindering his healing. He is putting weight on but is still thinner than he probably should be, so we're feeding him plenty and he is eating well. Bullwinkle is learning to play some and his favorite toy is the dynamite stick, which he loves to just hug and lick. Bullwinkle was easily trained to stay on the floor while his food is dished out, he seemed to already know what a litterbox is for, and he only scratches on his scratch pad. Bullwinkle is interested in looking outside but has no interest in going back to that life and avoids darting. He is working towards being friendly with other cats although introductions need to be slow due to his FIV+ status. In plain human-speak, that means I can't see or hear very well. I'm having a great time making friends with people though, and you'll be surprised how well I can get around with just my whiskers. Speaking of which: If you see the middle whisker on my right cheek twitching, that's just me sending intel back to my people on Planet Mothball. Here's what I've learned from your planet so far: I prefer to stay low to the ground. A flat cardboard scratcher and a soft, flat blanket are my favorite places to sit. If you want to know my idea of a "treat," I especially love what you call "scritches" and "naps." Anyway, I think I've learned all I can in the shelter biome. I'd like to learn more about this "family" thing. Next intergalactic mission: Going home with you! Church was rescued in October. My family and I are actually bird people and own a few birds. Church on the other hand is a very good mouser, and eats mice whole. She also is not very good with the male cat that we rescued that is in need of vet care. Long story short, Church got her name off of Pet Cemetery. Her growl is a bit intimidating but she has never been aggressive towards us. I believe she might have been mistreated, but after showing this girl love and giving her a safe home, this Diva is very vocal and loves attention. I would make sure she is around older kids that know how to properly treat an animal. Definitely no smaller animal, she is a great hunter.

Duchess is 7 years old, she is a lap cat and spends most of her time napping and cleaning. She has been around another cat and dog almost her whole life as well as babies and toddlers over the last 3 years and has never had any problems or conflicts. She loves to sit in peoples laps and nap and has no medical conditions that have ever been disclosed to us over the 7 years we have had her. She has had all of her shots throughout her life but she is likely due for her annual shots this year.

Frankie is a very sweet and affectionate cat that needs to be in a home where he is the only pet. While I am not 100 percent sure on how he would do with dogs, I know he is not very happy being with other cats. He can be kind of skiddish and has been that way his whole life. He is not agressive at all and when scared will just hiss and run away from our other cats. He loves to get attention when you are sitting on the couch or in bed but will run away at any sudden movements. Our other cats like to run around and play but frankie does not want anything to do with them. So, there is a lot of tension between the cats.
