Story
I adopted Dora from a shelter in Pennsylvania in 2020 and she’s been with me ever since. She moved with me to Texas and has been a wonderful companion. Now with two large dogs and a toddler, Dora no longer gets the calm space she deserves. She’s a sweet, loving cat who would thrive in a quieter home where she can be the center of attention. Looking for a good home where Dora will be loved and cared for.

Story
Willie is a big, soft, loving kitty. He melts into your arms. He is a gorgeous charcoal grey. He showed up at my house earlier this year . He is not feral but is very sweet and loves attention. He has been completely vetted and vaccinated. Willie has an injured, right foreleg. He cannot fully flew his paw and walks on two toes. His vet said the injury was old. It is healed up, but he suffered fractures like his foot was bitten or crushed. The bones are fused together, but his leg is not completely straight. He walks with a slight limp. There is a lot of scar tissue on the back of the leg. I don't know how he made it out there before he found me, but he must be kept indoors for the rest of his life. Willie is OK with other cats, but he is on the bottom of the pecking order now. He uses the litter box faithfully. Adults can pick him up and carry him around. I have not had children visit, so I do not know what he is like with kids. He is cautious around dogs.

Story
This is is big, orange sweet heart! He is so loving and friendly! Zirkie began showing up at my porch November 2024. He would run away whenever I came out of the house. Assuming he was another feral cat, I set a trap for him, caught him, and took him to the TNR clinic at Austin Humane Society (they tipped his left ear for easy identification). He had no microchip. After a few weeks of living with my other feral cats, I realized he was tame and very used to humans once he figured out they were not going to hurt him. I put up posts in the local community, but no one replied. He is the typical orange, boy cat: sweet, affectionate, easy going. He is the underdog of my feral colony and just tries to stay away from the bully cats. I can pick him up and pet him. Where ever he came from, he got handled a lot. Zirkie is named after my late friend and great Austin musician, Stephen Zirkel, who passed away in August 2024
