Story
Bumblebutt here is the result of a stray kitten I had found that was unknowingly pregnant. While the mother has managed to find a home, bee here along with her brother. Have not been so fortunate. They have been with me since July last year and have had many people unable to follow through with coming to retrieve them when interested. It is my hope that bee and by extension her brother. Can just find a place where they can be loved. I work often and cannot give them the attention and love they deserve. Plus I cannot keep them as my roomie is allergic. Bee, here is very timid, mostly to loud noises, she plays very gentle and loves to play with fish shaped stuffed toys as well as thin strings. She only likes to be pet after she approaches and allows it and only on the back of her neck and middle of her back. But she will approach for pets often if she like you.

UNEMPLOYED BARN CATS seeking suitable positions with available vermin. The shelter has barn cats ready for immediate employment. We hate seeing them languish in cages when they could be productive members of wildlife society! If you are interested email animalsvc@georgetown.org with the subject line of "interested in a barn cat". The application/screening process for potential adopters usually takes about 24 hours except when it falls over a weekend or holiday, and then it may take two or three days. We ask that potential adopters please be patient with us; we are only trying our best to ensure that the homeless pets in our care get the best possible home. All cats and dogs adopted from our shelter are spayed or neutered (as Texas law mandates). Our adoption fee is currently $70 for non-residents and $75 for residents*. The adoption fee includes: spaying/neutering vaccinations (appropriate to species and age) heartworm or feline leukemia test (appropriate to species and age) de-worming medication microchip (a tiny ID tag inserted under the skin, which allows your pet to be returned to you quickly) There is a $5 Pet License fee added to the adoption fee if the adopter lives inside the City Limits of Georgetown. Please visit our website for more information on how to adopt, special events, adoption application, educational and volunteer information. http://pets.georgetown.org/ Georgetown Animal Shelter P.O. Story
Meowdy there, pals. I'm Sarge, your undercover cuddle commander! Sure, I might be a bit timid at first, but once you peel back the layers, you'll find a heart of pure sweetness. I'm all about the cozy life under my blanket hideout, but let me tell you, attention is love language-I can't resist those gentle pets! Now, here's the lowdown: I've got this FIV thing, but no worries, it's a piece of cake to manage, and I'm on the lookout for an indoor kingdom where love and cuddles reign supreme. Can you be the hero I've been waiting for, giving me the time to settle in and live my best life? An Adoption Angel has paid my adoption fee to help make that my reality as soon as possible. Let's make it official, and together we'll embark on a journey filled with purrs, snuggles, and all-around good vibes! The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). Story
Scottie is a wonderful young cat who was rescued from living underneath an apartment building. Scottie is so friendly, we think, he must have been somebody's kitten at one point. When we rescued him, Scottie was living in the crawl space of an apartment building alongside with about 20 other cats. Scottie has already been fully vetted, he's FIV/Leukemia NEGATIVE. He's a super nice cat, very affectionate, playful and super easy. We think, he can get used to a friendly dog. Scottie is looking for an adult home. Ingrid (512) 980-0105 pcdrapps@yahoo.com

Story
Purrs and head-butts, Cassi here, the purr-fectly precious tuxedo kitty with a heart as big as my adorable pink nose! I may have faced some challenges that led to hair loss, but with a bit of tender loving care and a tranquil home, my fur will be back to its glorious self in a heartbeat! I may be a bit shy initially, but deep down, I'm a sweet kitty who craves gentle pets and kind words. Alongside many other furry felines, I landed at the shelter in search of a loving family, and I'm eagerly waiting for my hero to sweep me off my paws. Are you the one I've been dreaming of? The hero I've been waiting for? Let's start our new tomorrow together and fill it with love, cuddles, and purrs! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Introducing our latest member of the Outdoorsy Cats Program! These amazing cats are special because they prefer the great outdoors and would thrive in environments where they can use their natural instincts to hunt and play. While they may not be the typical lap cats, they are perfect for individuals or businesses who need a reliable and effective solution for pest control. Our program is dedicated to providing these cats with a healthy and happy life in a non-traditional adoption setting. By adopting an outdoorsy cat, you are not only gaining a valuable addition to your property, but you are also helping to maintain a healthy feral cat population.Outdoorsy cats are adopted out in the order that they arrived, minimizing the amount of time they spend in the shelter. Our outdoorsy cats are sterilized, vaccinated against rabies, and adopted to owners who appreciate working cats for rodent patrol and can provide a safe, appropriate environment, such as a porch, barn, stable, garage, or warehouse. This way, these cats enjoy a safe outdoor home with shelter and a caregiver, and adopters enjoy having healthy, sterilized cats that happily tend to their vermin troubles. When you bring your outdoorsy cats home, they will need to be confined to an escape-free room or enclosure for two to four weeks before being released. During this time, you need to provide food, water, a litter box, and a safe space for your outdoorsy cats to hide whenever they feel frightened. It's important to help outdoorsy cats have a successful transition to their new surroundings and form a bond, from afar, with their new people. Do this by frequent visits with them and talking to them during this relocation period. Feeding wet food at the same time each day will help with this process and will let your outdoorsy cat know they are in a safe place. After a successful transition period, be sure to leave food, water, and a safe shelter accessible at all times. Our Outdoorsy Cat Program is a win-win for both the cats and the adopters. If you're in need of an outdoorsy cat and have a safe place for them to live out their days, send an email to wcras@wilco.org to begin the process.

Story
Moonpie is a 6-month-old female kitten who was found cold and abandoned in the backyard at 2 months old. The vet told us she was malnourished, and she was lucky to have been brought in. She hardly had any fur and was very thin and underweight. After several weeks of lots of love and support, she has become a normal, healthy kitty. She is extremely sweet and loving, independent, and has been great with my other two cats. She likes to cuddle when you’re ready to go to bed and enjoys playing and running around during the day. She is easy to pick up, plays fetch with sparkly balls, easy to give kisses to, and easy to take to the vet. We hope to find Moonpie a forever home with someone who knows they are lucky to have her in their lives and will give her all the love she has always needed. Please note: Animals are not presents; they are family.
