Story
Meow there, we're Laverne and Shirley, the dynamic duo in search of an adventurous home that's as fun as our namesakes! Our journey has been quite the whirlwind - adopted as cute kittens, only to return due to allergies. But hey, that's just life's quirky plot twists, right? I'm Laverne, the shy but oh-so-sweet sister. Give me a little time to warm up, and you'll see my affectionate side shining through. As for me, Shirley, I might start as a spicy gal, but deep down, I'm just a big ol' softie who craves cuddles and chin rubs.Together, we're a package deal, bound by sisterly love and a sense of adventure. We're on the hunt for a loving home where we can embark on new escapades and create heartwarming memories. If you're ready to give two quirky gals a chance, we'll bring laughter, love, and whisker-tickling joy to your life. So how about it? Ready to write the next chapter of our story together? The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet Shirley and Laverne with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Story
SYLVESTER 1 yr old shorthair tabby w/ some Maine Coon and Oriental features. Neutered, microchipped and litter trained (no instances of potty accidents) Not dog friendly Cat friendly High prey drive - Supervise small animals He nibbles but never torn flesh or bruised His mom is a beautiful indoor/outdoor Oriental Calico mix and his dad, a ferel or intact indoor/outdoor tom cat with some Maine Coon genetics. Sylvester is strictly an indoor cat. He is large, very handsome, active, healthy, friendly, vocal and playful. He loves belly rubs and chin scratches, playing with humans and other cats. He wants to be where the action is. He is cat friendly, he currently lives with another cat, but he is a rough and tumble boy. He's never been around children. He is quite cuddly but doesn't love being picked up. He could be considered semi-hyperactive and also a velcro-kitty. He is very curious and will explore everywhere he can get to, he gets the evening zoomies and the morning talkies.

Story
WINNIE 4yr old black shorthair. Spayed, microchipped, litter trained Cat friendly No bite history. I got Winnie at 2 yrs old. She is petite, friendly, gentle, docile, somewhat shy, extremely sweet and affectionate. In fact she's so affectionate that she is at risk of falling off of stuff whilst expressing her affection. At the shelter they warned me to make sure she doesnt fall out of the cage whilst I petted her. She has fallen off the bed a couple of times, so we dont give her cat trees or cat beds above human sitting height. We've checked she doesnt have any balance or neurological problems, she's just passionate about pets and rubs. She appreciates gentle handling. Car rides and vet visits are VERY scary for her but fasting the night before helps with potty accidents. She does well in a supportive purrito with her face covered at the vet. She has dust allergies. A quiet home is ideal for her. She'll make do making biscuits with her teddy when she's alone. She LOVES window lounging

Good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
NEEDS an experienced owner. His litter was taken in by a couple but they didn’t socialize and do the work needed for the cats, so he is still in a feral state. I adopted him trying to be helpful (owned rescues and ferals before) but it’s too much. He bites, hisses, scratches for no reason and refuses to socialize. He refused to eat or drink for a straight week. He screams at night and will run into objects when he sees us and I fear he’s going to hurt himself soon. He broke my TV already and his behavior is becoming too much for us to handle on top of our allergies. Our allergies have been pretty severe with him and have bought special dander reducing food and shampoos but he won’t let us touch him to apply it. I have used Feliway and all the videos to help but he won’t take to any of it. I believe he may have been bonded and the previous owners refuse to take him back which is way I believe they knew of these issues and wanted him out ASAP. We have tried but are reaching our limit.

Story
I picked these two up from the Humane Society when they were kittens back in May of 2016. They grew up around my roommates two large dogs for a few months. My current girlfriend has a dachshund and they have met on a few times but are unsure about him. She is not very vocal unlike her sister. They both have been on a raw food diet since the start. She has also been declawed in the front.
