Story
Hi there, I’m Whiskers! 🐾 I’m a big softie with an even bigger purr motor, and I love being the center of attention. Cuddles? Yes please! I'll snuggle right up next to you—and if you're lucky, I might even give you one of my famous Whiskers Hugs™. I’m also quite the shadow—wherever you go, I’ll be close behind, just making sure you’re not lonely. 💕 When it comes to toys, I don’t discriminate. Whether it’s a feather wand, crinkly ball, or even a kitten toy, I’m ready to pounce and play! Sometimes I get a little too excited and might play with your hand (oops 😅), but I’m learning and respond well when you let me know it’s too much. I’ve got a lot to say and I’m not shy about it! I’ll chirp, meow, and chat with you throughout the day. Got a story to tell? I’m all ears (and maybe a few meows in response). I’m great with dogs and small kittens—they don’t stress me out. Other adult cats? I need super slow introductions, please. I like my space at first, but I can warm up in time with patience and care. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and talkative buddy to keep you company, I might just be your guy. Let’s meet soon—I’ve got so many cuddles to give! 🐱💬💖

Story
Meet the sweetest little tri-pawd kitten! Prior to her arrival at Mazie's Mission Rescue at around 12 weeks old, Wanda sustained an unknown injury that caused nerve damage to her front left leg. After careful treatment and consideration by the Mazie's veterinary team, Wanda's leg was recently amputated as it could not be rehabbed to full functionality. This has not slowed her down or altered her fun & exuberant personality, and will allow for a better quality of life for her long-term. Who needs 4 legs when you're so great on 3?! She's a sweet, petite, playful, mischievous, talkative, bird enthusiast and expert under the covers cuddle buddy with a purr like a boat motor; an avid TV watcher who's built for speed with a love for feed. While Wanda would not be opposed to being an only cat, she would thrive and do best in a forever home with a buddy as she loves to play, snuggle, and keep company with her foster brother & sister. She will likely need a slow introduction (as most cats do) but will adjust with some time to warm up to a new companion. Wanda is wary of dogs (of any size) but in the right environment, a calm or well-behaved canine friend is not out of the question. She is not accustomed to the noises and excitement a home shared with younger, smaller children usually offers and would do best in a more quiet environment with older children or teenagers. Wanda has been spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated! If you're interested in hearing more about this pint-sized, tri-pawed lap-kitten let us know by contacting as at www.maziesmission.org/adopt!

Story
I adopted Chloe roughly one year ago from a local shelter. It was during a high ice storm here in town and I was looking for a companion and everything aligned perfectly. Chloe is roughly 1.5 years old. She has a big personality. She’s sassy yet sweet and loving. She loves to cuddle. She needs someone who can play with her more and stimulate her more. I am not home enough anymore to give her what she deserves and needs.

Story
Hello! My name is Honey, I also go as Honey Bunches, and I am a calm and gentle kitten! I am a rescued kitten, and I have a brother named Cocoa. We love to play around with sound-making toys and with each other. I love to cuddle with humans or my brother. Sometimes I like being next to my humas and just keep them company. I typically like eating food with meat, but I am not very picky. I am an indoor cat but like to observe the outside. I love taking naps with my brother or my humans.

Story
Esa (pronounced EH-suh) is a beautiful orange male kitten who was born 2/28/2025 in his foster Mama’s home. His mother Bellagio is also an orange cat who was rescued from her feral life just 4 days before giving birth. Esa has 5 siblings and they have all been raised together in a loving and entertaining environment with lots of food and room to run! Esa’s sister Tyson is also available for adoption and they would love to be adopted together if possible! If you are a Dallas Stars hockey fan, then you’ll recognize Esa is named after the Finnish player Esa Lindell. Esa is a healthy eater and growing into a big strong boy. He’s happy to be picked up for cuddles and enjoys snuggling with his siblings but he’s also perfectly comfortable on his own. He has only been around his Mama and siblings so he should do well around other cats. He hasn’t been around dogs or children so we don’t know how he would do in that environment. Esa is litter box trained, microchipped, combo tested (negative for FIV and feline leukemia) and has had first two rounds of vaccinations. Esa has had a happy, healthy start in life and is now ready to bring some joy and energy into a furr-ever home.

Story
All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Rupert is a gentle, sensitive soul with a heart full of love—he just needs a little time to show it. He was adopted in 2022 alongside his bonded companion, Dinah, and the two have remained closely connected ever since. In 2025 and again in 2026, their owner reached out for assistance before ultimately surrendering them in 2026 due to financial and health challenges. When Dinah and Rupert ended up at a shelter, Cat Matchers volunteers quickly stepped in to bring them back to safety. Now relaxing in the adoption room at The Cat Connection, Rupert is slowly adjusting to his new surroundings and showing glimpses of his sweet personality. Unlike his outgoing “sister,” Rupert is more reserved and shy, but underneath that quiet nature is an incredibly loving boy. He enjoys gentle pets and especially loves head scratches and a good rump scratch. Once he feels comfortable, Rupert will even play with toys—catnip toys, fur toys, and wand toys are all favorites. Sometimes, if he notices you watching him play, he’ll pause and give you an adorable look as if to say, “I wasn’t doing anything!”—it’s as charming as it sounds. Rupert loves spending time on his cat tree, where he can relax and watch the world go by. Birds, squirrels, and any outdoor activity provide endless entertainment for this thoughtful big boy. He may take a little longer to warm up than Dinah, but Rupert is incredibly sweet, tolerant, and worth every bit of patience. He feels most secure with Dinah nearby, and they are looking for a forever home where they can stay together. If you’re looking for a quiet, gentle companion (and a perfect match for Dinah), Rupert might just be your guy. Together, they make a beautiful pair ready to start their next chapter in a loving home.  DOB: 8/13/2020 - System ID: T-AS301-21**Want to adopt?
