Story
Meet Siggy — A Resilient Spirit with a Heart of Gold Siggy didn’t come from a shelter — he showed up at his foster mom’s door one day, as if he knew where he’d be safe. After some coaxing, she brought him inside and gave him the warmth and care he’d never known. A vet visit revealed that Siggy had survived a rough start — an old pelvic injury, likely from being hit by a car, had healed on its own. Because of it, his tail now has a special little twist, and his run has a charming wiggle. But don’t let that fool you — Siggy is full of life. Now safe and warm, Siggy is adjusting to indoor life like a pro — with plenty of attention, treats, and cozy naps in soft beds. He loves making friends, especially with the resident cats, and is always up for a playful chase or a shared sunbeam. He’s a foodie at heart, happily munching on his meals and never saying no to a snack. Every day he grows more comfortable and confident, showing just how ready he is to find a forever home of his own. Siggy is a survivor, a snuggler-in-training, and an all-around lovable guy looking for someone who sees past the scars to the incredibly sweet soul within. His journey may have started rough, but with the right home, his best chapters are yet to come. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Meet Millie – Pretty and a Little Bit Mysterious Millie is a shy sweetheart with big, beautiful eyes and a coat that looks like it was painted by angels. She’s still figuring things out, but don’t let her quiet vibe fool you—she secretly enjoys a good cuddle and a sneaky play session when the mood strikes. She’s a litter box pro, totally chill about being held, and seems to get along fine with other cats. Right now, she’s more of an “upstairs queen” who prefers to observe from her throne while she gets comfortable. If you’re looking for a gentle kitty with a soft heart and a side of mystery, Millie’s your girl.

Story
Meet Peggy! She’s a sweet kitten who was rescued from the shelter, scared and unsure of the world. At first, Peggy spent most of her time hiding, but now she’s learning to trust and come out of her shell. She’s a curious girl who enjoys exploring the house, playing with her toys, and lounging on the cat tree for naps. While Peggy has made great progress, she’s still shy about being touched or held, but she’s learning, especially when treats are involved! She finds comfort in the company of other cats and would do best with a friendly cat or kitten companion to bond with and feel safe. She would also do best in a quiet, patient home that gives her time to continue building confidence. Peggy is a gentle soul who just needs love, patience, and a safe place to truly be herself. Email info@habitat4paws.org for more on adopting Diamond. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Meet Spot – A Dash of Gold and a Whole Lot of Love! Spot is a one-of-a-kind kitten with a sleek black coat kissed by golden patches and speckles—like little stars scattered across the night sky. At 6 months old, she's bursting with playful energy, curiosity, and just the right amount of sass. Though a little shy at first, Spot has a sweet and affectionate side that shines through once she feels safe. She adores side scratches, and once you earn her trust, she’ll reward you with the best gift of all: nonstop biscuit-making with her happy little paws. Its her way of saying, “I’m comfy, I like you, and I’m home.” Spot loves chasing wand toys, batting around stuffed mice, and exploring every corner of the room. She’s full of kitten mischief in the best way and would thrive in a home that gives her space to play and time to warm up. She gets along well with other cats and could really blossom in a home with a friendly feline companion. Spot hasn’t met children yet, but would likely do well in a calm, patient household where she can continue to build her confidence. Spot is ready for her forever home—one with cozy spots, caring people, and plenty of time to grow into the loving, lively cat she’s meant to be. Adopt Spot and add a little sparkle to your life—one biscuit at a time.

Here is the updated bio for June: Well hey there, I’m June — your future feline soulmate with a flair for the dramatic! I’m an outgoing, confident gal with a heart full of love and a serious string toy addiction. I don’t just like cuddles — I demand them. If you’re looking for a velcro kitty who will follow you around like your fuzzy, furry little shadow, congratulations! You’ve found her. I give 110% in everything I do — from diving into cardboard boxes and clean laundry to squeezing myself into shopping bags that are clearly too small for me (but I make it fashionable). I was rescued from the shelter life by my amazing foster, and now I’m ready for my next chapter: finding my forever human. I’m litter box trained, fabulous, and I’ve tried really hard to make friends with the resident cat... but he’s more of a grumpy old man than a social butterfly. I’m still holding out hope though. Take me home, buy me tacos, and tell me I’m beautiful. Bonus points if you start calling me Cleopatra — I’m 99% sure that was me in a past life. One look into my regal eyes and you’ll believe it too. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Meet Kido – A Stunning Bengal with a Big Heart (and Big Personality!) Kido is a beautiful, intelligent, and very active Bengal boy looking for a special forever home. After losing his previous owner, Kido was surrendered to a shelter which was a heartbreaking and scary experience for him. Thankfully, H4P stepped in to rescue him, and now he’s safe and has learned to trust again in his foster home. Kido is a classic Bengal: vocal, curious, playful, and full of energy. He’s not a lap cat, and he doesn’t enjoy being picked up or cuddled but he does love spending time nearby, playing with toys, and showing off his athletic moves. He’s happy to be admired from a respectful distance. Think of him as a work of art: beautiful, rare, and best appreciated on his terms! Here’s what Kido needs in his forever home: A Younger Cat Friend Kido must have a playful kitten or younger cat companion. He relies on other cats to feel confident and happy, and he loves having a buddy to run, wrestle, and snuggle with. No Dogs or Small Children Loud noises and unpredictable energy stress Kido out. He needs a calm, quiet home without dogs or young kids. Special Diet Kido is on a special food regimen to keep him feeling his best. His health is well-managed; he just needs someone who’s happy to keep up with his dietary needs. A Patient, Understanding Human Kido is shy and needs someone who will give him time and space to settle in. He may never be a cuddler, but he bonds deeply in his own way especially when other cats are around to help him feel secure. Kido has a unique spirit, and for the right person, he’ll bring endless love and joy as a truly special companion If you have a cat who needs a buddy, a quiet home, and a big heart ready to accept a Bengal boy just as he is, Kido could be your perfect match. Apply to adopt Kido today and help him write the next chapter of his journey, one filled with love, play, and feline friendship.
