Story
Hello there! I'm Murray, the most charming orange/white tabby boy you'll ever meet! I was rescued from the shelter alongside my brother, Hopper. While I may seem a bit reserved at first, just give me a moment, and you'll witness my heartwarming transformation. I express myself with a delightful melody of purrs and love "chirping" at my foster parents and feline friends. My foster mom affectionately calls me "Purry Murray" because my purr engine revs up instantly when you shower me with pets. Oh, did I mention my fondness for treats? Catch me eagerly waiting in the kitchen at lunchtime, ready to showcase my endearing trick of standing on hind legs and pawing for treats. The coziest spot for me is right by your side – be it on a chair, sofa, or snuggled up in bed. I'm a spirited kitten, reveling in playtime with toys, my dear brother Hopper, and our fellow foster cats. If I'm not frolicking around, you'll likely find me enjoying a peaceful nap. And rest assured, my litter box manners are impeccable, and I've almost mastered the art of using the scratching post. I thrive in the company of other kitties, so a home with a feline companion would be purr-fect for me. I'm eagerly anticipating finding my forever family. Don't hesitate – fill out that application for me today, and let's embark on a heartwarming journey together! **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Hello there! I'm Hopper, a delightful red/orange tabby kitten, and I've got a heartwarming story to share. Rescued from a shelter alongside my brother, Murray, I sport the cutest red/orange birthmark just below my nose. My foster mom affectionately calls me a "purr box" – a simple chat is all it takes to set my purring in motion. You'll often find me perched on the desk, keeping my foster parent company during work. I've taken it upon myself to stand guard at the window, shielding my foster family from the antics of mischievous birds and squirrels. And let's not forget my love for treats – I don't just love them, I demand them, especially come lunchtime. My foster mom has a little routine where I stand on my hind legs and "beg" for treats before indulging in them. Being an energetic fellow, I thoroughly enjoy playtime with toys, my brother Murray, and the other foster kittens. When I'm not in the midst of play or enjoying a meal, you'll find me cozily napping. With my outgoing personality, I quickly warm up to new human friends. While my litter box habits are impeccable, I'm still refining my use of the scratching post. Given my social nature, I'd thrive in a household with another feline companion. I'm eagerly awaiting the day I find my forever family – could that be you? Don't hesitate, fill out an application for me today!Email info@habitat4paws.org for an application. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Greetings! I’m Charlotte or Princess Charlotte as my foster mom calls me, because I’m a princess now! My foster mom rescued my brother Max and me from the streets, where we were having a difficult life outside. You see, I’m a special needs cat and have a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). But don’t let that scare you, I am just like every other kitten. I’m just a little wobbly and sometimes I fall over but I can still live a normal happy life, indoors. The good news is, you will never have to worry about me jumping up on tables or counters! I just need a few modifications like raised food bowls and shorter cat trees, and of course lots and lots of love! I’m still learning how to be an indoor cat so I’m not into snuggles just yet, but I’m a sweet girl and do love attention and pets. My litter box etiquette is purrfect and I’m learning that I love scratching boxes and posts. I’m great with other cats but because of my disability, I would probably do best in a home where there aren’t any dogs or little children. I’m also part of a bonded pair with my brother Max so we are a package deal. If you choose to adopt me I will do best in a house where he can come along too. After all, two kittens are always better than one! ASK ABOUT SPECIAL PRICING FOR US! **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
Greetings, I’m Max or Prince Maximus as my foster mom likes to call me. I’m a sweet, happy, and cuddly little guy because I can’t believe my good fortune! I was born on the streets and when I was a couple months old, my foster mom came along and rescued my sister Charlotte and me. I was actually supposed to be a “trap neuter release” kitten (hence the ear tip) but I told my foster mom I didn’t want to go back outside, showed her how sweet I was, and the rest is history! She says that I’m a prince now. I have to say, I’m a big fan of indoor cat life. When I’m worn out from playing with my sister, I love to curl up on the couch with my foster mom. I also like to follow her around and I love it when she picks me up and gives me lots of kisses. I’m a very well behaved boy and all I need is a ball to play with and I’m happy! I’m also very quiet and sometimes I try to meow but nothing comes out. My litter box etiquette is purrfect and I’m learning that I love scratching boxes and posts. You should know that I love my sister Charlotte very much so we are a package deal. We love to play and cuddle and it’s my job to protect her. If you choose to adopt me I will do best in a house where she can come along too. After all, two kittens are always better than one! ASK ABOUT SPECIAL PRICING FOR THE TWO OF US! Story
Hey there, I'm Fiona! Picture this: I'm the cuddliest, most charming kitty in town. I've got an affectionate streak that's bound to steal your heart. Whether you're a little kid or a grown up, I'm all about spreading the love to every human I encounter. Got more cats? No problem! I'm the ultimate cat whisperer. I don't do well without another cat around so I should be in a home with a cat or kitten friend. Oh, did I mention my stylish spots? Some say I resemble a tiny cow, but don't be fooled—I'm just your typical, adorable, teenage kitten size. Now, onto my hobbies! I'm a toy enthusiast, always on the prowl for the next playtime adventure. I'll zip around the house, burning off energy like it's going out of style. I prefer lots of space to run around as I get nervous if I’m in a room or small space where I can't perch like a gargoyle to watch everyone. When it's time to wind down, I'll cozy up on your lap, kneading biscuits and purring sweet melodies into your ear. Think of me as your very own purr-fect sound machine. Let's make it official and meet up. I'm ready to show you the true meaning of companionship—spoiler alert: it involves lots of love and purrs! Story
Very sweet, cuddly orange tabby. Loves to play with his brother and eat whatever food you are eating. At least, he HAS to smell what you're eating! He believes the entire house is his and you're just living in it! He will pee outside of his litter box, specifically on carpet, if he decides the litter box isn’t up to his standards. It needs to be cleaned very often to prevent this. Moose loves pets around his face and lower back and just wants to be around his people. He is very patient and friendly with new people, he won't hiss/bite/scratch. If you let him do his thing, he will cuddle with a stranger. He used to live with two dogs before we got him and have since exposed him to a dog again and he didn't do well. I'm not sure if it was because he hadn't been around dogs for a while or if this dog just had too much energy for him and he got spooked. He is being cared for by a private owner in Aubrey, Texas

Story
Molly was found in July of 2022 with her four kittens in the Texas heat. She gave everything she had to those kittens, so she was malnourished and suffering from heat exhaustion. I took the family in and managed to re-home all the kittens. I fell in love with Molly, so I kept her and got her up to date with her shots. She is super sweet and gets along great with my dog, but she has become more aggressive towards my senior cat recently. I am having to re-home her due to this. She would be a GREAT addition to any family as the only cat. She is a super spunky and playful kitty who loves water and back scratches. She is spayed and up to date on all her shots. Please consider adopting this sweet kitty!

Lema belonged to my ex who abandoned her when we got divorced. I have to move soon as I can no longer afford this house and can't take her with me. Lema is very easy-going, low-maintenance cat. She only eats cat food and has no interest in human food. She is not hyper. She likes naps, cuddles and catnip. She is pretty easy to be with. Very laid-back.

Story
Halle lived on the street in Oklahoma for her first year of life but was quickly domesticated. She was born around summer of 2021 so she is nearly 3. She is cuddly and loves to play but may nibble when played with aggressively. She really needs another cat to play with but I cannot afford another playmate. She is very open to new experiences and people. She is goofy and loves string toys, scratching posts and pom Pom balls as well as other small balls she can chase around. She is affectionate and extremely expressive. I am looking for a home with an experienced cat owner who can train her well. She is open to training and understands basic commands/dialect, get down/out, lets go, good/bad girl, wanna play?, are you hungry?, want a snack?. Unfortunately I am not home consistently enough to play with or train her so she has been acting out, puking/peeing under my desk or on a carpet. I know if she gets attention from another animal the behavioral issue will stop.

Story
My name is Shannon and I need a savior. I was adopted as a kitten (with my sister) almost 6 years ago. After 5 years my guardians made the difficult decision to return me to the rescue because my siblings and I were no longer getting along. I was scared and confused and sad my humans had sent me away. I spent the first 9 months in two different foster homes where they showed me so much love and attention, and always had a lap for me to lay in. Sadly, due to family allergies, I had to leave my foster home and enter boarding right before Christmas. That's where I remain today. I'm not fond of it here. They are very nice to me, and I have plenty of food in my belly, but I miss being able to run and play and sun myself in the window like I used to. I was once quite the confident diva, sass and all, but the longer I'm here, the more withdrawn and depressed I become. I miss my humans so much. My perfect savior would be patient with me as I reacclimate back into a quiet, home environment with no small children. Prior to boarding I thought I would be best as an only kitty, but now maybe I could tolerate an older, senior cat if they would be nice to me. I might even enjoy a doggie sibling if they were the chill sort. I'm not sure, I've never been around one. I'm dealing with some allergies right now, but they have me on special food and eye drops and I'm getting much better. Please look at my photos and see what a loving, biscuit making, lap kitty I can be! Did I mention my beautiful, chiseled bone structure? I just need someone to believe in me and give me a chance! Will that person be you?
