Story
Brindle, bright-eyed, and full of heart, Diesel is the best mix of athlete and goofball. He loves people, makes soft eye contact, and is eager to work for treats or toys-classic Dutchie! His favorite toy is a blue & pink rugby ball. He has done well meeting friendly dogs with proper introductions and respectful play. He gets excited fast and will need someone to give him proper outlet and structure. We recommend a working-breed-savvy, active home that enjoys training and enrichment. Teens/older kids who can participate in his routine could work; cats are unknown. After activity, he settles nicely and leans in for affection-loyal, attentive, and ready to be someone's shadow. If you've been looking for a smart partner to adventure with and train, this boy is your guy. Quick highlights 1.5 years old, Dutch Shepherd (brindle male) • Social, affectionate, toy & food motivated (loves fetch) • Enjoys hikes/runs/training games • Dog-friendly with proper intro; cats unknown • Best with shepherd-savvy, active adopters Diesel is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He's currently located in Vallejo CA

💛 Adopt Kinzie! 💛 Kinzie is living her best life and soaking up every second! Her leash manners are on point, she’s a total crate queen, and she’s fully potty trained (gold star, Kinzie ⭐️). This outdoor enthusiast would love a home that enjoys walks, runs, hikes or any adventure that lets her stretch those long legs! At first, Kinzie might play a little hard to get with new humans, but one treat and she’s your bestie for life. She’s loyal, loving, and always down for scritches and snuggles. In her foster home, she’s been thriving, running around with her playful furry foster brothers and showing off her goofy, happy personality. 🥰 We recently did a DNA test and discovered she’s an amazing mix of German Shepherd, Border Collie, and Great Pyrenees! A truly special blend of smarts, loyalty, and beauty. Kinzie would do best in a home with adults or older kiddos who can match her energy and give her space to shine. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and adventure-loving sidekick, Kinzie is your girl! 📍 Fostered in Novato, CA 📅 1 year old | 75–80 lbs 📝 Apply to meet her: www.cabullyrescue.org/adopt

Story
Kirra is a 7 year old purebred Dutch shepherd/ Belgian malinois . Both her parents were working dogs at Honolulu airport. She is a smart dog and has a lot of energy. Will need an experienced person who has familiarity with this breed of dogs. They are not like other breeds. Unfortunately due to nature of living in an apartment and working. I do not have the same time and attention to give her that she needs. Again, she will need someone who has experience with this breed or similar breed.

Story
HI -I'M NOMI! I'm a 5-1/2-year-old beautiful and sweet Dutch Shepherd-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. My name means "beautiful" and "delightful" and it is so fitting, because I have a gorgeous brindle coat and an endearing face. I was rescued from a Los Angeles-area shelter, and now have been waiting patiently for someone to notice me - for about two years! I am gentle with people, and am friendly with most dogs. I would probably thrive as an only dog where I could get all of the attention, or hang out with a submissive male. I love to be with people and I love to shake a paw! I weigh 68 pounds. Can you foster or adopt me? I really want a home. I'm currently in Southern California, but can be transported to you in Northern Cal. Please email for an application.

Story
Obie (short for Old Boy) is a sweet old boy looking for a comfy couch to call his own. He has a beautiful fluffy coat that he enjoys a nice brushing of. Obie is a quiet and dignified couch potato. He is fine with everyone but particularly loves men. He loves ear scratches and a nice snooze. Obie is currently on medication for seizures. He takes this medication twice a day and it has greatly reduced his occurrence of seizures. He takes his medications easily if hidden in cream cheese, sour cream or yogurt. Obie is house trained with a doggie door right now. He enjoys spending his afternoons outside relaxing. He can be scared by loud things like fireworks but has done well with CBD as needed for this very specific anxiety. Obie does not really care for treats or toys. Treats he has enjoyed for training include lamb roast, mashed potatoes and eggs. He thinks vegetables are yucky. He seems to have been new to dog food but has taken to it well with some patience. Obie previously lived with another large dog and got along well with her. She would even snap at him sometimes and he would not really react. He simply wanted to be her friend. We also believe Obie will be fine with mannerly children. He has met toddlers and takes care to not knock them over. When meeting cats indoors, Obie was excited but did not necessarily exhibit high prey drive. He allowed his foster mom to call him back as she removed the cat. When he sees cats outdoors he like to try to chase them, though this is true of most dogs (even those that live with cats). All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for private and/or group training at no additional cost to help ensure a successful adoption. To meet Obie, fill out our short adoption application: www.betterworldrescue.org/adoption-application Once an application is filled out, our volunteers will reach out to you within one business day to answer any questions and schedule a meet and greet.
