You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Olivia!Olivia came to PRBJ from an overcrowded out of state rescue.  She was brought in by the Pilots for Paws which bring dogs from rural places to larger cities to help them find a home.  Unfortunately, Olivia had been waiting at this rescue since 2024 when she came in with her litter of pups.  He pups were adopted, while Olivia sat and waited.  She loves people and we are working with her on reactivity to other dogs.  It seems when she is out and about that she does well, but when in the kennels, she is not fond of any dog. Story
Sarge is an incredibly sweet dog found on the streets near Orlando, FL. He is food motivated and high energy, but also loves a good nap and cuddles. He is house trained, crate trained, and accustomed to a leash/harness. Sarge will walk on a leash but is prone to pulling, especially when there are other people or dogs near by. He was kept with other dogs at the shelter with no issue, but we have found that he plays a bit rough with younger dogs. Sarge is a sweet dog who needs a big home with a yard and lots of enrichment from his owners. His biggest fault is being too sweet and excited to meet new people. He knows a few tricks and commands that he will listen to, especially if food is involved.

Brynlee is very playful. Lots of energy. My work schedule doesn’t permit the time she deserves. She has a brother and I would love to keep them together. They are wonderful pets. This is very difficult for me. I know it’s the best for them both. I work 12-16 hour days. I am also relocating to a rental which I cannot take them. I want them in a loving home as I have given them. I will be moving in the next 2 months. If anyone has room for these babies and can give them the love they deserve. Brynlee bday is June 30, 2023 and Chaz is December 3, 2022

Hi there… I’m Chase. I’m an 8-year-old Husky/German Shepherd Mix with a white and silver coat and some pretty stunning brown eyes (or so I’ve been told). I’ve got that classic Husky charm—handsome, a little stubborn, and full of personality—but I also have a big, loving heart that just wants to be close to my people. I’m a very affectionate guy. I love attention, cuddles, and being part of whatever you’re doing. Personal space? Never heard of it. If you’re sitting, I’m probably right there with you… or on you. I get along well with other dogs as long as everyone is respectful. I enjoy playing, though I’ll admit I sometimes forget how big I am. I’m also very food motivated (seriously… treats are the way to my heart), and I don’t have any food aggression—but if food is left unattended, I might just help myself. Fair warning! I do have a strong prey drive, especially when it comes to cats and small animals, so I’d do best in a home without them. Walks can get a little exciting for me too—I’m working on staying calm, and I do listen when guided, but I’ll need someone patient who can help me keep improving. At home, I’m mostly a calm, easygoing guy… until it’s time for a walk or food—then my excitement kicks in and I can’t help myself! Life is just too exciting sometimes. I’m neutered, up to date on all my vaccines, and microchipped—ready to go home with my forever family. I’d do best in a home without small children, just because I don’t always realize my size when I get excited. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a playful spirit and a heart full of love, I might just be your guy. I promise to make you smile every single day.
