Story
Meet Dottie Lonestar Dottie Lonestar is a 3½-year-old sweetheart with a soft soul and a heart full of love. Rescued as a stray, her past is a mystery—but what we do know is that her future can be absolutely wonderful. Dottie is mom to a litter of puppies that have already traveled to NJ and have been adopted through Eleventh Hour Rescue. They include Moon, Micah, Mason, Madie & Magoo. Now, it's Mom's turn! Dottie is a gentle, well-mannered girl who takes treats delicately, never jumps on people, and loves to lean in close for pets and attention. She’s shy when meeting new people and needs a little time to build trust, but once she settles in, she blossoms into a happy, relaxed, and affectionate companion. She does great with other dogs and would feel most comfortable in a home with a confident canine buddy to help her feel secure. In nice weather, Dottie loves being outside—trotting around the yard, keeping an eye out for squirrels, and taking in all the day’s happenings. Dottie is crate trained and very comfortable with her routine. She sleeps in her crate at night, puts herself to bed around 8:30–9:00 pm, and happily goes in and out during the day for naps. She even eats her meals in her crate and will patiently wait there at feeding time like the good girl she is. Dottie Lonestar is looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to grow in confidence and be loved for the gentle gem she is. If you’re ready to give her the bright future she deserves, apply to adopt today—Dottie is ready to meet her forever family. (Breed Mix is a guess based on looks and character. We would love for Dottie's family to do a DNA Test & see how it comes out.) Dottie is microchipped, spayed and current on her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $415.
