Story
We’ve had Lou since she was 3 months old. We adopted her from a shelter in Moab, Utah and she has been a great dog. She is mild-mannered and affectionate with her people. She is obedient and has never chewed any shoes or furniture, and is potty-trained. She responds well to commands, and is her best self off leash getting to roam trails, always coming back when called. She’d be a great companion if you like hiking and backpacking. We’ve taken her to the dog park 2-3x a week since she was a pup. She is friendly with other dogs. Always done well in boarding and staying with families with other dogs. We love her, but being a young family on the move, bringing her along is now too difficult for us. The right new home for Lou would be one where she has a yard to roam, and a loving family to provide stability for her to be her normal sweet self.

Story
Meet Jingle Name: Jingle DOB: April 23, 2025 Current Weight: 45 pounds (medium sized dog) Health: Healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed Jingle is a sweet, soulful young girl with a gentle sparkle in her eyes and a heart full of love waiting to be shared. She has a thoughtful, affectionate nature and a playful curiosity that makes her a joy to be around. Whether she’s quietly observing the world or happily joining in on the fun, Jingle brings warmth, calm, and happiness wherever she goes. Personality Jingle is affectionate, attentive, and deeply people-oriented. She loves being near her humans and thrives on reassurance, praise, and connection. She has a soft, loving side that shows during cuddle time and a playful, energetic side that comes out during walks, games, and exploration. She’s eager to learn, responsive to guidance, and already showing signs of becoming a loyal, devoted companion. This intelligent and athletic mix offers the perfect balance of brains and heart. Smart, alert, and eager to learn Loyal and bonds closely with their family Active and thrives with both physical and mental stimulation Does best with routine, structure, and positive reinforcement Expected to be medium to large in size once fully grown This breed mix is ideal for adopters who enjoy engagement, training, and building a strong human–dog bond. Owner Responsibilities Jingle will need: Daily exercise and enrichment to keep her happy and balanced Continued training with patience and positive reinforcement Consistency, routine, and gentle leadership Plenty of time, love, and inclusion as part of the family She is still growing emotionally and physically and will flourish most with an adopter committed to guiding her through puppyhood and adolescence. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Things to Consider Before Adopting Before bringing Jingle home, please thoughtfully consider: Your time and ability to commit to training and companionship Your living situation, including landlord approval and space Long-term plans such as moving, work changes, or travel The financial responsibility of food, vet care, training, and enrichment The reality of adopting a young dog who is still learning and growing Adoption is a lifelong promise — not just for today, but for every stage of her life. Vet Care Although Jingle is healthy, vaccinated, and spayed, adopters should schedule a visit with their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption to establish care and support a smooth transition. The 3-3-3 Rule (Very Important!) First 3 days: Jingle may feel overwhelmed as she adjusts to new sights, sounds, and people — patience and reassurance are essential. First 3 weeks: She’ll begin learning your routine, building confidence, and understanding what it means to belong. First 3 months: Trust deepens, her true personality shines, and she’ll know she is finally home. This adjustment period is normal and requires time, consistency, and love. Why Jingle Will Be an Amazing Addition Jingle is the kind of dog who quietly works her way into your heart and stays there forever. She’s loving, loyal, and eager to grow alongside her person. With guidance, patience, and commitment, she will become a devoted companion — one who offers comfort, joy, and unwavering love every single day. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a bright, affectionate young dog and commit to a lifetime together, Jingle is ready to meet you &#226&#156&#168   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. HI -I'M NOMI! I'm a 5-1/2-year-old beautiful and sweet Dutch Shepherd-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. My name means "beautiful" and "delightful" and it is so fitting, because I have a gorgeous brindle coat and a sweet face & personality. I was rescued from a Los Angeles-area shelter, and now have been waiting patiently for someone to notice me - for about two years! I am gentle with people, and am friendly with most dogs. I love to be with people and I love to shake a paw! I weigh 68 pounds. Can you foster or adopt me? I really want a home. I'm currently in California, but can be transported to Oregon. Story
**All dogs are by appointment only, please inquire through Petfinder, Adopt-a-pet, Rescueme.org or e-mail us directly at shelter@hbpets.org for the dogs questionnaire*** **Requirements another dog in the home, fenced backyard*** Millie (spayed) and Spud (neutered) 1yrs old, Dutch Shepard, Boxer, Pit mixes. They came from a animal hoarding property, their sister Chili was more than ready for a home alone, these two would prefer a home with another confident, sweet dog. Millie loves playing with many of our dogs here, she has learned so much and is becoming a brave girl, it does take her time to warm up to people. She loves other dogs, from Pitbulls to huskies to German Shepard's to little terriers, smaller to larger, he loves them all. She would flourish in a home with another dog who is brave, confident and gentle in nature. From her adopter she needs patience, time for her to acclimate, a fenced backyard, no young kids or loud adults, her hoarding home was very loud with over 15 dogs and a lot of people. She just needs a chance a gentle human and dog buddy, like she has here with us. My adoption fee is $250

Story
Here's what my foster mom says about me:I'm Willow! I'm a very affectionate & people-oriented dog who loves being around my people. At home I settle in nicely and I enjoy relaxing, napping, or happily munching on a chew bone. I enjoy walks and exploring outside, I'm generally an easy walker although my mom says I can get very excited when I see a squirrel or other small animals. I would benefit from continued training and an active home that can give me regular exercise! I'm playful, curious and sweet, with a slightly goofy side. In a new environment I may be a little nervous at first, but with a bit of time and patience I warm up and becomes a very loyal and loving companion. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a decision.I'm currently in foster and ready for my new home! Story
Meet Pinto! After her and her siblings were found abandoned out in Eastern Washington, she was scooped up and brought to us! She was pretty shy & nervous at first - understandably so - but has come out of her shell beautifully! Her sibling was DNA tested and came back as majority husky, malamute and german shepherd. She does great with other dogs and has not been tested with cats but can be upon request. Her foster parents say she is doing great with potty & crate training. Experience with working / high energy breeds preferred, as her breeds can be high energy and stubborn at times! Please reach out to hear more about Pinto! ##2628407##

Story
Meet Coconut: Your Future Best Friend and Ultimate Love Bug! Everyone, meet the beautiful Coconut! This two-year-old Shepherd/Malinois/Cattle Dog mix is a sensitive soul with a heart of gold. While she takes a little time to settle in and feel comfortable, once she knows she is safe, she reveals her true self: an absolute love bug who just wants to snuggle her person all day long. Her Perfect Match Coconut is truly looking for "her person." She is a loyal companion who forms incredibly deep bonds, though she is particular with people—especially men. She takes a bit longer to warm up to the guys, so her ideal home would be with a single lady where the two of them can be inseparable companions. Activity & Lifestyle Because she is so smart, Coconut thrives on mental stimulation. She is incredibly eager to please and would love a partner who enjoys teaching her new tricks or giving her a "job" to do. She’s an A-plus walker and the perfect partner for hiking or jogging, though she does require a home with a secure, 6-foot-plus fence to keep her "youthful enthusiasm" contained. Social Life When it comes to her social circle, Coconut knows exactly what she needs: With People: Selective at first, but a fierce snuggler once she trusts you. With Dogs: She is generally okay with other dogs but is dog-selective with females. She would do best as an only dog or with a passive male companion. With Cats: She is wonderful with cats and is ready to be a loyal friend to feline housemates. Coconut is a high-energy athlete who is still working on keeping all four paws on the floor when she gets excited. Whether you are looking to adopt or Foster-to-Adopt, this resilient, affectionate girl is ready to bloom in a home that understands her brilliant breed and gives her the snuggles she craves.
