Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Meet Magnum — a survivor with a heart full of joy! Little Magnum’s story started in the worst way possible — he was found abandoned in a crate in a field, severely emaciated and alone. But this brave boy has done nothing but shine since being rescued. Today, he’s healthy, happy, and thriving, ready to leave his past behind and step into a bright future.  At around 9 months old and 32 lbs, Magnum is a playful, loving puppy who brings energy and happiness wherever he goes. He adores people, loves kids, and gets along well with other dogs. Because he’s still a young pup, he’d do best with older children or younger kids who are well-supervised as he continues learning manners and boundaries. Magnum is crate trained and working on house training — he’s smart, eager, and picking things up quickly with guidance. He would thrive in an active, loving home where he can grow up surrounded by structure, patience, and plenty of playtime. Neutered, up to date on vaccines, and scheduled for heartworm testing at 6 months, Magnum is ready to bring resilience, love, and endless puppy joy to his forever family. Questions about Magnum? loramyers51@yahoo.com To help ensure the best match for both pets and adopters, please complete an Adoption Application: www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption Once approved, caretakers will arrange a preliminary home visit.    July 2, 2026, 4:10 pm

Story
A HANDSOME LITTLE DUDE:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 7 lbs. Hi there, I’m Calvin! I came to Mostly Mutts as an owner surrender along with a dog friend of mine, who has already found his new home. My former family reported that they already had dogs and I didn’t really get along with them, so it was decided that the best thing for both my friend and me was to find new homes where we could thrive. Now I’m looking forward to meeting a family of my own and starting an exciting new chapter filled with love, fun, and companionship. Come meet me and see if I’m the little buddy you’ve been looking for!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I came in with another little dog that I liked (he’s already been adopted), and my former family reported that I got along with some dogs. I haven’t had an official dog test at Mostly Mutts yet, so if you already have a nice dog at home, let’s meet and see if we’re a good match! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, though my former family reported that I liked the kids I met while I was with them, though I don’t recall their ages, so if you have kids, let’s meet and best no very young kids that may fall on me as I’m very little. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I came to Mostly Mutts a little unsure and cautious, but I’ve been making great progress and growing more comfortable every day. I’m a sweet, lovable boy who likes to take a moment to check things out before jumping in, but once I feel safe, my gentle and fun personality shines through. I was very brave for my bath and ear cleaning, and when my photo shoot rolled around, I was showing off my super cute and playful side for the photographer. I’m a sweet, gentle fellow with a lot of potential, and I’m looking forward to continuing to blossom with a loving family of my own. / Energy level:  currently 3-5.   • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’ command and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I’ve done well in my crate at Mostly Mutts and my former family reported that I was crate trained. / I’ve had very few accidents on the shelter schedule and my former family reported that I had good potty manners while I was with them.    • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like spending time with the nice volunteers and I’m sure we’ll discover lots of things we will enjoy doing together once I’m settled in my new home. / I don’t think I’d want to be rushed into new stations or new relationships, so just give me a little time and I’m sure I’ll reward you by being a great little companion.  Like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I just had a dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again - don’t worry, not in a talking-back way! I’m a sweet little guy looking for a wonderful family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 3, 2026, 9:17 am

Story
A SWEET LITTLE LOVEBUG:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 9 lbs. Hello – I’m Rylie!  I came to Mostly Mutts with three other doggies from a very neglectful situation. My first stop was animal control, where they began getting me the vetting and good care I desperately needed. Mostly Mutts then jumped in and – while it has taken awhile to get me feeling good again, I am now doing great and am ready to meet my new family and live the good life all doggies deserve. I was adopted for about a month, but it wasn’t a good fit, so I’m back with Mostly Mutts and in a wonderful foster home while I wait to find my furever family! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I really like the dogs in my foster home as well as the dogs I met in my temporary home, and I came to Mostly Mutts with other dogs that I also liked. If you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / I’ve not shown any interest in the cats in my foster home, other than just sniffing them. All cats are different, so I’m not sure how I’d do with another kitty. / I enjoy the company of the teenagers who live in my foster home, so let’s meet and best no toddlers or small children that may fall on me.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a very sweet and gentle, initially shy girl who will be your loyal lap dog!  I’m friendly, happy-natured and quite playful. I will delight you with body wiggles and tail wags and I’m sure you will love me and want to spend lots of time with me. / Energy level: 3-5.   • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I don’t currently know any commands, but perhaps you can teach me some. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s take some of those together. / I do really well in a crate, but I haven’t really needed to be crated for long in my foster home. I’ve shown that I’m good at being out alone, if need be, and I sleep in the bed with my fosters at nighttime. / My potty habits have been coming along in my foster home with a few accidents still. I do pretty well on a set schedule, though I don’t alert that I need to go. My fosters take me out when I get up in morning, right after breakfast, at lunchtime, right after dinner and right before bed – with perhaps another outing during the day. Keeping me on a good schedule will help me master my potty skills.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love food and snuggling right next you as well as following my people around to keep them company. I also like to play with my people and I love to lie in the sun on the back deck and sunbathe. / I am not a fan of car rides, and outside sounds (lawn mowers, leaf blowers, etc.) tend to startle me. Otherwise, I’m sure I would not like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m on a seizure medication which is working well for me, and I should stay on it as well as an over-the-counter joint supplement called Cosequin. I needed a good dental cleaning when I arrived and have had that now with a few teeth pulled.  I am looking for a family who will make me a much-loved family member and take great care of me!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 3, 2026, 9:17 am

Story
LOOKING FOR A CALM FAMILY:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 10 lbs. Hello, I’m Rosalind! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control as one very scared little girl, and I’m so grateful they rescued me and helped me find my way to a wonderful foster home where I’m learning to trust. I’m a little diamond in the rough who just needs a gentle, loving, and quiet home in which to continue blossoming, just like I am now. With patience and lots of love, I think I’m going to be something pretty special.  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I’m doing very well with the dogs in my foster home and have had a couple of "almost play moments" with them.  We’ve exchanged play bows and I think we’ll be playing with each other soon. So, if you have a nice dog at home that will give me some extra time to adjust, let’s meet! / I’m also doing well with the kitty in my foster home. I’ve just sniffed and mostly ignored them.  All cats are different, so I’m not sure how I would do with another cat. / I haven’t met kids yet, but since I’m looking for a calm and quiet type of home, so I would say only older, quiet and gentle type of kids please, such as teens and up.    • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I was very shut down when I first arrived, but I’m coming out of my shell more and more every day, and it has been wonderful to see my personality emerge. I’ve started following my foster around the house (so close that I may be a tripping hazard) and when they turn and see me following them, I do a little toe-tap dance as if to say, “Oh! You caught me!” I absolutely love curling up on a soft, cozy blanket for a nap, and I’ve even started getting the zoomies, which shows just how much more comfortable I’m becoming. I’m being very brave and am now venturing out of my crate more when my foster dad is home, too. My fosters say I’m a great dog and that my personality is really beginning to shine. My foster would be happy to share all the things that have helped me feel safe and comfortable in a home environment. / Energy level: 3-5, with short bursts of energy.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I don’t know any commands yet, but once I gain more confidence, perhaps we can take some of the free lifetime classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I absolutely LOVE my crate and consider it my safe space.  A crate is a must in my new home, and it will help me feel safe while I adjust. / I go potty when my foster takes me out and puts me on the grass in her fenced yard. I’m sure in time I’ll learn to walk out by myself.  Please don’t have me off-leash if your yard is not securely fenced as I could become startled and run off and I don’t want to get lost or hurt. I’ll need you to keep me on a good schedule as I adjust in my new home, so I don’t have accidents.    • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love soft blankets and cozy beds where I can relax and take a nice nap. Sunbathing and sniffing around are also two of my favorite activities, and I enjoy quietly exploring and satisfying my curiosity about the world around me. Mozzarella cheese is a special favorite, and I also enjoy gentle scratches around my ears. I like being near my people, though I’m not quite ready to be in their lap yet. As I continue to gain confidence, I think I may discover that toys are pretty fun, too - I’ve already been caught picking up a sock and giving it a good shake! / Being picked up isn’t my favorite thing yet, though I’ve already made progress and no longer tremble when my foster has to pick me up, so that’s a big win! Loud noises, unfamiliar people, and being rushed make me very uncomfortable. I need to take my time to get comfortable and build trust. And like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.  • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m looking for a very patient, calm and quiet home with someone who will let me move at my own pace and won’t force affection. In return, I think I’ll make a wonderful companion.  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 3, 2026, 9:17 am
