    Meet Cookie Blossom, a 20-pound, Feist/Italian Greyhound mix who’s about 2–3 years old and as sweet as her name suggests.   Cookie Blossom is a loving, playful, happy girl. She is friendly with new people she meets after just a little shyness at first.   Cookie enjoys: exploring the yard, going on leisurely walks, or curling up nearby while her people go about their day. She’s just as happy adventuring as she is chilling on the couch in quiet company.   This sweet girl is housebroken although she might have the occasional accident as she settles into a new routine. She walks nicely on leash and is not reactive to calm dogs passing by, but she will pull a bit and bark at passing dogs if they are carrying on. She is crate trained, she sleeps quietly in her crate and stays quietly in her crate when we are out.   She would do well in a home with another furry friend that is receptive to her playfulness and doesn't feel like they need their own separate space.  She would also be fine as an only dog with a family that will get her out for walks and play with her. Even though she's an adult dog there is still some puppy in her. Once she's played out or at the end of the day she's happy to chill alongside her foster mom.   Cookie Blossom is the perfect blend of playful energy and gentle sweetness, ready to bring joy and companionship to her forever family. He’d be a great addition to a family. Little Magnum was found, abandoned, in a crate, in a field.  He was emaciated but now has recovered beautifully.  He is healthy, happy and resilient. Leia is well-behaved and walks nicely on a leash, making her a wonderful companion for leisurely strolls or adventures. After coming to the shelter with her puppies and being a devoted mom, it’s finally Leia’s turn to be the one cared for and loved. She is all ready to find her forever family and fill their lives with joy, affection, and plenty of smiles. Yoda is an 8 month old male Feist mix with the sweetest, most lovable personality. He can be shy when meeting new people, but a few soft treats help him warm up quickly. Yoda is a small-to-medium sized boy and will likely stay close to his current size, especially since his mom, Leia, is on the smaller side. This handsome pup is fairly laid back and seems to enjoy the simple things in life … easy neighborhood walks, sniffing around the park, or just relaxing with his favorite humans. He would be a wonderful companion for cozy binge-watching sessions on the couch. Plus, he will likely show more playfulness once he is settled into a home and away from the stress of shelter life. Yoda has spent most of his young life in the shelter and doesn’t ask for much - just a forever family who will give him a loving home and cherish him. In return, he will always be grateful and fill your life with endless joy! A SWEET COMPANION:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 24 lbs. & needs to lose weight Hi there, I’m Rosalia!  I came to Mostly Mutts with another dog friend when our owner could no longer care for us, and that friend has already found a home.  I’m now in a wonderful foster home, patiently waiting for my turn to find a loving furever family of my own.   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I liked the dog friend I came in with, but I haven’t been interested in the other dogs in my foster home, though I have also not shown any aggression, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet. / I have shown no interested in the kitties in my foster home.  All cats are different, so I’m not sure how I would do with another cat. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a chunky, sweet girl who’s ready for a healthier lifestyle with balanced meals and some gentle weight loss.  I’m very sweet, happy, and loving, and I was an absolute angel during my bath - friendly, cheerful, and even enjoying being held afterward, then I rolled around on a towel having the best time.  I’m full of love and sweetness, though I can sometimes be a bit of a tripping hazard because I like to stay close! / Energy Level:  3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  My foster reports that I know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘come’ commands and I’m sure you can teach me lots more! / I’ve been calm in my crate and sometimes go in it on my own for a nap. /  My potty manners have been very good in my foster home.   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I thrive on human interaction, enjoy chewing on bones now and then, and get excited about squeaky toys - especially when my foster mom starts the fun! / I’m not a fan of being alone very much and I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, gentle exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I need to lose a significant amount of weight, so I’m on a salt-free green bean and kibble diet – just ask about how to feed me this regimen.  I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by.
