Prancer COH is an 8 month old neutered male Flat Coated Retriever Mix who came to us as a stray from the City of Hawthorne. This handsome boy enjoys going for walks and exploring the world around him, making him a great companion for an active family. Prancer is friendly and does well with kids, and he’s ready to find a loving home where he can continue to grow, learn, and be someone’s best friend. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. Surrendered by her owner, Kenai is still adjusting to the shelter environment and can be a little nervous at first. With patience and kindness, she begins to relax and show her sweet, trusting nature. She’s a soft-hearted young dog who just needs someone willing to go slow and let her build confidence at her own pace. Kenai walks nicely on leash, is very gentle, and already knows “sit.” She’s smart and eager to learn, making her a great candidate for continued training. She does very well in playgroup with other dogs and enjoys calm, positive social interactions. Willow is a three-month-old Flat-Coated Retriever girl who will be a large dog weighing around 70 lbs. She is vaccinated, crate trained, and almost completely house-trained. Willow loves people and dogs of all sizes. She will need a home with a yard, and because she is a puppy, a person to be at home with her. She would also benefit from having another dog at home with her. She is a true treasure of sweetness. This little cutie is Calvin. He’s a 3 year old, 45 lb, neutered lab mix. He LOVES PEOPLE and meets everyone with the most happy & GENTLE, kindness. He can be very chill and CUDDLY, but he’s also not needy, clingy, or nervous. He’s crate trained, too! He’s happy to just watch tv with you, or get out and about on a good walk. He loves walks and to sniff and explore. Calvin enjoys playing with the 4 dogs who belong to his rescuer. Calvin has so much love to give, and he’d be a great companion for someone who wants to play, go on walks, cuddle, and go on car rides. Calvin is working on leash skills and manners walking by other dogs. He does not react to the cats and chickens on the property. Come out and meet Calvin! You're sure to fall in love.

He is a goofy boy and still very much puppy like. He gets along good with my two other dogs (boxer and boxer/husky girls), and loves his people he bonds with and learns to trust. He is a curious shy boy at first but once he warms up, he is ready to play and he loves his toys! He can use some help walking better on a leash and to not be so scared but I can see as he builds his confidence, he is only going to get better! He is very treat motivated and wants to please. He is a happy pup that is house trained and pee pee pad trained.     He can use some support/training to learn to not jump up when he gets extra excited when he sees his people. He loves to be inside and also likes his time in the yard. He currently has his own setup in the garage that he seems to appreciate. He is somewhat crate trained, I leave the door open for him to his crate but that is where he sleeps and where he goes if he feels uncomfortable or scared. R&R Boxer Rescue has committed to supporting Brody, and finding him his forever family after his previous "rescue" abandoned all dogs they had pulled.
