If you are interested in adopting this dog,  please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/generic.You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.Dog's Name:   Hank  (HAN0923JNSMD)Estimated Breed:   Flat-Coated Retriever MIX  Approximate Age:   2 yearsApproximate Weight:   50 lbsCurrently Living at:   BoardingAdoption Fee:   $400DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Hi, I'm Hank and I am a bundle of high energy but very sweet and affectionate with people! I have no formal training and I am very puppy-like in my behavior, so I definitely need someone who is willing to put in the time and energy to exercise and train me. I am not crate or house trained yet. I need a fenced yard with a tall fence, as I love to run, jump and play. As for other dogs, I like those who can keep up with my high energy as I am a rough player. I'd probably do best with a companion dog my size or larger or fine as an only dog, as long as I get a lot of exercise. If you think you can meet my exercise and training needs, please put in an application! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life.
