I have no formal training and I am very puppy-like in my behavior, so I definitely need someone who is willing to put in the time and energy to exercise and train me. I am not crate or house trained yet. I need a fenced yard with a tall fence, as I love to run, jump and play. As for other dogs, I like those who can keep up with my high energy as I am a rough player. I'd probably do best with a companion dog my size or larger or fine as an only dog, as long as I get a lot of exercise. If you think you can meet my exercise and training needs, please put in an application! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
