Aquaman starts out a little shy, like any good hero with a mysterious backstory, but give him a little patience and you’ll see him transform. Once he warms up (which happens quickly!), he becomes a loyal little shadow who just wants to be near his people. He’s the perfect compact companion — big enough for outdoor adventures, small enough to fit perfectly on your couch, your lap, or wherever you happen to be. He gets along great with other dogs, so he’d love a confident canine buddy to help show him the ropes. Or he’d be happy being your one-and-only sidekick.    Aquaman doesn’t need an underwater kingdom — he just needs a safe, loving home where he can feel secure and cherished. In return, he’ll give you lots of unconditional love and devotion. If you’re ready to be Aquaman's hero, he's ready to be your very best friend.  Apply today!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Visit our event page (https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/) to see which one—event listings are usually updated on Fridays with attending dogs. Meet Miracle, a beautiful Lab mix with a gentle heart and a grateful spirit. She was found wandering on her own, and despite all she’s been through, she remains incredibly sweet, trusting, and full of quiet resilience. At around 2 years old, she already knows basic commands like sit and is eager to keep learning, especially when kindness, patience, and positive reinforcement are involved. Miracle is very treat-motivated, but she has wonderful manners and doesn’t jump on people, even when treats are involved. She loves to sniff and follow her nose, taking great joy in exploring her surroundings, and she does well in the presence of other dogs, making her a pleasant companion on walks and outings. With the cold weather setting in, Miracle has shown just how thankful she is to be warm and safe again. She’s ready for a fresh start—a cozy home, a loving heart, and a forever family who will never let her feel alone again. Could you be the happy ending this sweet girl has been hoping for?
