Meet Bree! Bree is a 6 month old smooth coat retriever mix with a petite frame and the sweetest spirit. She has unique brindle coat and ears soft like velvet. She was found dumped at a construction site with her two sisters, but this resilient girl hasn’t let that rough start dull her shine. She loves to be with her people and pack. She gets along with adults and kids alike. She gets along with her much larger foster siblings and will hold her own if needed. She is a shadow dog and loves to always be nearby, but is not underfoot. Bree also has opinions on TV shows and wants to share them with you. She`s content to sleep on her bed while you work, eat, or just while you`re doing daily activities. She is house trained and crate trained. She protests when she first goes in her crate but will eventually settle.She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but she’s eager to learn, loves attention, and is ready to trade construction dust for a cozy home and a family of her own. Eventhough, she enjoys hanging with her siblings and her foster`s pack she would be fine as an only dog. She would also do fine as an apartment dog. Bree has been spayed and current with her vaccines. Bree is ready to build her forever life with you.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. Meet Ralphie! He is a 6-year-old, male, Lab/Poodle mix who weighs approximately 57 lbs. He is currently in a foster home waiting for his forever family. Ralphie is a sweet and friendly boy who loves to play but also spends quite a bit of time lounging and napping. He would be happiest as an only pet in a child-free home. Ralphie is gentle, but can jump on people when excited. He is house trained, leash trained and eager to please. Ralphie is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination, booster to date and heartworm negative.  Ralphie's adoption fee is $275 and you can apply to meet/adopt him here:  Adoption Application - Legacy Humane SocietyWe do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. Eevee is being surrendered to her family due to being too much for the older dog in her home. She is 3.5 years old and 84 lbs. as of March 2026. Eevee is good with other dogs but may guard her food. She loves kids, but due to her size and energy level, she may not be a great match for very young children.  She is house and crate-trained, and spayed, microchipped, is current on vaccines and heartworm negative. Stay tuned for more photos and info as we get to know Eevee.  Fee is $275. Yellow labDougie is a lovely large male dog. He’s an older adult but still has plenty of energy. He is very gentle with kids and humans and gets along with most dogs but has not been around cats. He tends to have the calming influence of a Lab on a household. He should not be put into a household with another alpha male dog. He is protective of his family and home and would be great for a family looking for a dog for safety reasons. Dougie will make a fantastic dog for any family. He is housetrained and fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and is on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. His vet records will be turned over to his adoptive parent(s). He is ready to find his forever home!
