1⃣ Health Condition
* Spayed.
* Microchipped, and negative for heartworm upon retest.
* Has a history of hospitalization due to a high fever, so her body temperature needs to be checked regularly.
2⃣ Rescue Story
* Yooah was brought to the Gimje City Shelter with her puppies, all in poor health. Yooah suffered from a severe skin condition that weakened her, and unfortunately, some of her puppies passed away. With the harsh winter approaching, Yooah and her remaining puppies were urgently rescued.
3⃣ Basic Information
* With People: Doesn’t show much interest in strangers. Doesn’t really approach nor avoid strangers that enter the home, and doesn’t bark at them or isn't on guard either. Rests comfortably beside familiar people and enjoys being petted.
* With Dogs: Doesn’t show much interest in other dogs, regardless of size. Even when other dogs follow her and bark, she doesn’t bark back and stays nonreactive, usually quietly avoiding the situation.
* With Cats: Stares briefly at cats she meets outside. Even when she hears cats fighting, she just listens for a short moment and doesn’t show particular interest.
* Separation Anxiety: Rests well alone without signs of separation anxiety.
* Potty Training: Only potties outdoors and doesn’t mark with her urine.
* Grooming & Hygiene: Gets a bit tense during brushing, but handles it well. Also stays calm when wiped down with dog-friendly wet wipes. While she doesn't love having her paws wiped after walks, she tolerates it well.
* Leash Walking: May pull on the leash at the beginning of a walk, but after a few gentle corrections, she quickly settles down and walks calmly beside or behind you. May try to bolt if startled or when seeing a large vehicle, but holding the leash short and comforting her helps her calm down right away. Rather than running or taking long walks, she prefers hiking while sniffing around.
* Car Sickness: Doesn’t have any signs of car sickness. In the beginning, she’s a bit stiff, but starts to rest comfortably after a bit of time.
* Biting: Shows mild mouthiness/snapping when you try to put her in a car. This appears to stem from a fear of being put into a vehicle or enclosed space. At the center, she sometimes playfully nipped other dog friends on the rear while playing around.
* Barking: Hasn’t barked at her foster home.
* Personality & Temperament: Is afraid of large vehicles and busy roads. Especially when a car comes close in an alleyway, she needs protection—such as guiding her to a safe corner and blocking her front view. Also finds riding in cars, unfamiliar environments, and confined spaces challenging, so it is important to help her adapt slowly with patience in any new setting. Is a smart dog that clearly expresses herself with her likes and dislikes. Follows training quite well. Clearly prefers lying on the floor rather than on a cushion or mat.
