* Neutered.
* Microchipped, and heartworm to be retested in October 2026.
* Has a scar on his front right leg from surgery after getting caught in a mouse trap.
2️⃣ Rescue Story
* Roha entered the Gimje City Shelter with a severe injury to his front paw caused by a rat trap. Despite his immense pain, he was full of affection on the day of his rescue, approaching volunteers to ask for pets. Touched by his sweet nature, Adogs immediately stepped in to save Roha.
3️⃣ Basic Information
* With People: Has no shyness around women; confidently approaches them, turns his back toward them, and asks for pets. Once bonding with someone, he welcomes them enthusiastically, wagging his tail so hard it looks like a butt-wiggle dance, and accepts all the physical affection. On the other hand, his reaction to men varies. Is particularly wary of strangers and anyone wearing black clothing. Although this is improving, he may growl in warning if a stranger approaches with their hand stretched out. Needs a patient figure who will approach him slowly and give him time. When a young girl approached him, he showed zero wariness and sweetly asked for pets.
* With Dogs: Isn’t the type to approach other dogs first. Sometimes growls when larger dogs pass by him. Rarely growls at smaller dogs passing by him.
* With Cats: Inside the playground yard, he barked and tried to chase cats when he spotted them. However, didn't pay much attention to them during walks.
* Separation Anxiety: Seems to get anxious when left alone. Isn’t whining as much as before, but waits at the front door until his foster parent returns home so he needs training for separation anxiety.
* Potty Training: Potties outdoors.
* Hygiene: Enjoys being brushed.
* Walks: Behaves gently and stays calm while getting his leash on. At the start of a walk, he might spin in circles out of pure excitement, but settles down quickly. Tends to walk a little ahead but does not pull on the leash. When cars or motorcycles pass by, he either avoids them or stays calm and waits patiently.
* Car Sickness: Showed no signs of car sickness even during long-distance rides.
* Nipping: When receiving treats, he can sometimes excitedly snap like a little alligator. Caution is needed as he may snap defensively if a stranger or an unfamiliar dog approaches him first.
* Barking: Is very quiet inside the house. However, he will bark outside if a stranger stares at him.
* Like: Absolutely loves going for walks!
* Dislike: Feels uncomfortable around strangers, especially men. Is also fearful of wheeled objects like cars, roads running right alongside sidewalks, stairs, robot vacuums, etc. Also dislikes being forced into his kennel and will stubbornly resist.
* Trick: Can ‘Sit’ and ‘Paw.’ Willingly lifts up his paw to get them cleaned after walks.
* Personality: Is a lovebug who showers familiar faces with endless affection. However, is a timid boy who is quite sensitive to environmental changes. Before establishing a bond, it is best not to approach him first. Needs a gentle family who will patiently wait for him to open up at his own pace.
