Story
Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Hey, I’m Jimbo! I’m a sweet and lovable guy who’s always ready for a hug. I absolutely love snuggling up with my favorite humans, and I might even make little chittering sounds with my teeth when I’m feeling extra cozy or excited. It’s just one of my cute quirks! I’m dog-friendly and get along great with my furry pals. I’m also VERY clever, verging on stubborn at times. I’ve also gone through professional training with one of our local training partners, which has helped me build great manners and show off just how smart I am. I’d love to keep learning even more neat stuff with my future person. With a medium energy level, I’m just as happy lounging around for cuddles as I am going for a walk or playing with my dog friends. If you’re looking for a smart, snuggly, and affectionate companion, I could be the one for you! I am currently located in Texas but am available for adoption in multiple states across the country. My out of state adoption fee is $750. This fee helps cover the cost of care while I was at the shelter AND the cost of transporting me home! This includes: spay/neuter, if unaltered upon intake. age-appropriate vaccinations during time in care. a registered microchip if unchipped upon intake. a heartworm test if over six months of age. current flea/tick prevention during time in care. 3(+) broad spectrum deworming treatment. any medical expenses while in care. a health certificate for travel. the cost of travel (drivers, gas, and vehicle maintenance if via our route, or up to $200 in crate rental fees if on another transporter’s route!) Every adoption through the SPCA of Brazoria County also come with a PetSmart adoption kit, and some coupons for PetCo! Our first meeting/interview for adoption occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Apply to adopt me at https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/BRAZ/27759-long-distance-adopt-app. If you have questions, please email jami@spcabc.org.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Boa🌷 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1️⃣ Health Status * Spayed: Completed. * Microchipped and heartworm negative . 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Boa was rescued from a road in Boryeong. When she was found, she was wandering alone by the roadside. Worried she might be hit by a car, the rescuers approached her. She laid down on the ground, wagging her tail and looking up with soulful eyes as if asking to be taken along, which led to her rescue. 3️⃣ Personality and Characteristics * Interaction with People: She is a total sweetheart who loves everyone regardless of gender. At first, she approaches cautiously with her body lowered, but immediately starts acting cute and greets people with a wagging tail. She is always friendly and loves going for walks or physical affection. * Interaction with Dogs: Generally, she doesn't try to mingle with all dogs, but occasionally plays with specific friends. However, she will express her discomfort with a growl if other dogs are too rough or try to mount her. * Interaction with Cats: She shows curiosity toward cats. * Separation Anxiety: She doesn't cause trouble or make a mess during quiet times. However, when people pass by, she may get excited, show "demand barking," or run around in excitement. * Potty Training: She prefers to go potty outdoors or in specific spots. Training may be needed from scratch once she begins living in a home. * Hygiene Management: Because she loves people, she tolerates baths, brushing, and nail trimming well as long as she is being held. * Walking: She has received basic leash training, so she doesn't pull much and can walk side-by-side with her handler. She shows interest in other animals, but she is easily redirected. * Car Sickness: She hasn't shown symptoms yet, but further observation is needed. * Nipping/Biting: She shows no aggression toward people. However, caution is needed as she can be possessive over food when around other dogs. * Barking: She occasionally barks at things outside the yard. She also exhibits demand barking when other dogs go out or when people pass by. * Likes: She loves people immensely and has no shyness. * Dislikes: She finds it uncomfortable when other dogs try to greet her too forcefully or persistently.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Yooah💞 💙 Adogs Updates Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and completely recovered from heartworm. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Yooah was brought to the Gimje City Shelter with her puppies, all in poor health. Yooah suffered from a severe skin condition that weakened her, and unfortunately, some of her puppies passed away. With the harsh winter approaching, Yooah and her remaining puppies were urgently rescued. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is still getting used to human interaction and finds it challenging to accept touch or approaches. Patience is crucial as she slowly learns to trust and becomes comfortable around people. With familiar people, she approaches first to sniff them and accepts treats. Still flinches when being touched. * With Dogs: When first meeting other dogs, she shows a little bit of interest but isn’t proactive in engaging with them. If their energy levels are similar, she sometimes plays with other dogs. Used to be a bit wary of a few dogs at our center, but she hasn’t growled or shown any aggression towards other dogs recently. Gets along especially well with #AdogsWhite. * With Cats: Not confirmed as she hasn't encountered them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed yet as she currently lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Does only pottying outdoors at our center. * Hygiene: Has only experienced brushing. Was scared, but docile and took to it well. * Walks: Is wary of new places, making walks difficult. We're taking it step by step, starting with practicing walking on a leash. * Car Sickness: Not confirmed yet, but she has no motion sickness for short car rides. * Is a completely scaredy-cat, and has never bitten people. Has a single experience of nipping at another dog. * Frequently barks outdoors or in kennel but stops it when she sees people. If other dogs bark at her, she barks back. * Still feels uncomfortable with touching since she’s scared of people, but it has gotten a lot better and she sometimes even approaches first and accepts treats.
