Meet Sarang ❤️(It means LOVE in Korean) * Interaction with People : Sarang is a bit shy with new people but warms up within a day! She loves people so much that with familiar individuals, she'll follow them around, asking for pats and attention with her sweet charms! * She's really, really gentle even when being held or petted. When you call her with arms open or sitting down, she'll run over and snuggle up! * Interaction with Dogs: She plays very actively and gets along well with all dogs without jealousy or territorial behavior. She's great with smaller dogs too! * Separation Anxiety: It's still unknown as she's living in a group at the shelter. * Potty Training: She's only used to outdoor at the center. *.Hygiene: She dislikes baths and having her nails trimmed but cooperates calmly. * Walking: She's been practicing walking regularly and can now walk well with new volunteers! * Car Sickness: She hasn't traveled long distances, but short trips were okay! During the day, he's playing with other dog friends at a daycare center. He plays well with new dog friends and approaches strangers who give him snacks. But if a stranger tries to hug him, he avoids. He flinches away from the touch of a stranger but he doesn't have any aggression! If he recognizes a person as a guardian, he gives everything. Meet Missy!    Won’t You Please Come Play with Me?   My name is Missy. I am about 4 ½ years old.  I love to play.  Everyone tells my foster mom that their dogs don’t usually play with other dogs at the dog park, but they play with me.  I have learned to sit, heel and wait.  I love to play training games.  I like to put my head on my foster mom’s shoulder when she drives.  I wag my tail really hard when I see my people, but I don’t jump. I’ve learned people don’t like that.  I like to give kisses.  I get excited when my foster mom puts on her outside feet.  I like to crawl under her legs.  She tells me I make it harder for her to put on her feet, but I don’t care.  I’m excited and ready to go explore the world.  I would really like to have a playmate.  I am an active dog.  I don’t like cats so no cats please.  If you would like to meet me, I would love to meet you!   This gorgeous girl has been skipped over by too many, she is ready to find her forever home! Her foster adores her, but her schedule is picking up and she cannot keep Missy much longer.  Missy is excellent with other dogs and has shown that she can be trained! She originally started with a huge amount of leash reactivity towards people. When she was on leash, she didn't want to be friends! Now, she is flawless on leash! She loves car rides, snuggling up with her foster mama, and chewing on her toys!  Missy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee has recently been lowered to $100 so she can find her forever home!  Please come meet Missy, we promise you won't be disappointed!  ##2045317##

Chance is an adorable 1 year old lab retriever mix. He is potty trained, UTD on shots. He is great with people and other pups. You can use some of this for Chances write up I sent this in the group thread a couple days ago. He's mostly pretty chill and knows "sit", "down", "off", "gentle". He does very well on a leash for walks and stays by you even if you drop the leash. He gets the puppy energy burst and doesn't realize his strength (he's pretty strong!). He LOVES food and if given the opportunity, can eat a lot. He loves hugs, pats, belly rubs and will even come up and hug you. He's a very sweet puppy and I know he very much appreciates having a place to call home ##2043630##

HISTORY: Smoky is a senior dog that is need of a SPECIAL Foster Family in the Kirkland area! He is a sweetheart. Just wants some love and a family! Smoky is good with other dogs. He does not move much, due to bad arthritis, so no walks needed, just yard time. He is currently completing medication for a UTI and receiving acupuncture treatments. He is taking pain meds and CBD for his arthritis. Smoky really needs a FOSTER FAMILY to chill that has a fenced yard and only a couple steps up and down, an orthopedic bed and someone to give him LOVE. Smoky would do best with older children,NO toddlers due to his arthritis. He is a very sweet old guy that would be ideal if the foster was in the Kirkland or North Seattle Area. We are looking for someone who loves senior dogs and willing to likely be a FOREVER FOSTER. HISTORY: Trigger came into rescue in March 2023 as an owner surrender in eastern Washington. She looks to be about a 2-4 year old Boxer / Labrador mix with 3 legs. FOSTER UPDATE: Trigger is doing great and loves going for walks and rolling around in the grass. She has earned her nickname "Sugar" - she is a very sweet dog. She loves to wag, cuddle, get belly rubs, and give kisses. She can be cautious with new people, but she warms up pretty quickly and is a cuddler - leaning in for hugs, gently putting her paw on your leg to ask for snuggles, and laying her head or body on your lap when you sit or lay near her. She has a lot of love to give. She has good coordination and endurance and loves to go on long walks (with little breaks). She gets pretty excited about bunnies and would like to chase them, so she does best walking on a leash. She seems to be more comfortable with smaller dogs rather than bigger dogs. Welcome Zara to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 1-year old Lab mix dog. She is about 40 pounds and looks like a good weight. She is decent on the leash and good with other dogs. She does do her business outside on a schedule here at the rescue. She is a little shy and when scared has the reflex to run. She would do best with a person or family that is more of a family that likes time at home and isn’t the type that has lots of social gatherings and wants their dog to go many places like Starbucks etc. She would be perfectly content being a companion for a more stay home family. She would be fine with children or a cat. She was with Sam here at the rescue which is the Rescue cat. She is fully vaccinated, spayed and healthy and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. She is currently in Texas at the CCPAL Rescue. Welcome Picasso to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 2 year old Lab/Rottie or Shepherd mix. He is 2 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. He is good on a leash and friendly with other dogs. He loves water and loves to play in the hose water when the kennel is being cleaned. He loves his kennel and will stay in it even when the door is open. He met Apple and Serenity while on leash and was not leash reactive. He was all smiles and tails wagging. He is vaccinated and neutered and looking for his forever home. He would be fine as a family pet. We like the children to be 8 or older. The nice thing about an adult dog is their personality is formed and you know what you are getting. He has some skills like kennel training and leash walking. We know he isn’t leash reactive and was friendly when meeting new dogs. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally.
