Meet COCONUT!! Coconut is a sweet and lovely Jindo mix boy who loves people :) Behaviours from our shelter: Coconut is such a happy, sweet and loving baby boy who loves everything in the world. He is a bit timid and shy at first time as he is still a baby- but once he gets more comfortable- he will just love you and be happy with you furever. He doesn't mark on things, but he will need house training as he is just a baby. He isn't a big barker, either. He may bark sometimes to get your attention and love- but it is quite rare. He is ok with collar, hareness and leash- but he will need training on his walk. He is good with other doggie friends- He is also good with strangers and kids- He will need some time to get used to them at first, but he will become more comfortable and friendly after some time. He is also good with bathing and grooming. He doesn't love ear cleaning, but he will let you do it with gentle touch. Coconut is just happy baby boy who loves his doggie friends and people. He may need some training for a few things as he is a baby, but he is a full of joy and happiness and he will just love you furever :D Allergy/health issues: He has no allergy/health issue.

Yooah suffered from a severe skin condition that weakened her, and unfortunately, some of her puppies passed away. With the harsh winter approaching, Yooah and her remaining puppies were urgently rescued. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is still getting used to human interaction and finds it challenging to accept touch or approaches. Patience is crucial as she slowly learns to trust and becomes comfortable around people. With familiar people, she approaches first to sniff them and accepts treats. Still flinches when being touched. * With Dogs: When first meeting other dogs, shows a little bit of interest but isn’t proactive in engaging with them. If their energy levels are similar, she sometimes plays with other dogs. She used to be a bit wary of a few of the dogs at the Center, but she hasn’t growled or shown any aggression towards other dogs recently. Gets along especially well with #AdogsWhite. * With Cats: Not confirmed as she hasn't encountered them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed yet as she is currently in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Does only pottying outdoors at our center. * Hygiene: Has only experienced brushing. She was scared, but docile and took to it well. * Walks: Has started training after being leashed, but still feels uncomfortable with walks. * Car Sickness: Not confirmed yet, but she has no motion sickness while for short car rides. * Biting: Is a completely scaredy-cat, and has never bitten people. Has a single experience of nipping at another dog. * Barking: Frequently barks outdoors or in kennel but stops it when she sees people. If other dogs bark at her, she barks back. * Dislikes: Still feels uncomfortable with touching since she’s scared of people, but it has gotten a lot better and she sometimes even approaches first and accepts treats.

This snuggly girl loves squeaky toys and cuddles. She's energetic and playful when playtime is happening, but she also knows how to chill. Asuna was adopted as a young puppy, along with her litter mate Hermione (also available for adoption). About a year later their adopter developed extensive medical issues and could no longer care for them. With people she knows, Asuna is very affectionate. She's comfortable with calm older children, but she becomes anxious in chaotic environment. She would do best with a family with kids who are used to dogs. With strangers she tends to be shy, but she'll warm up if they're gentle and patient. She is very attached to Hermione, but both dogs would probably do best if adopted separately. Asuna gets on well with most of the other dogs in her foster home, but can be reactive with grumpy or playfully antagonistic dogs, especially if they're pushy. She would probably do best in a home with another calm, friendly dog who doesn’t mind letting her be the center of attention often. She is not safe with cats or other small prey animals. This sweet girl tends to be anxious, and will do best in a home where she has canine or human company, but she copes well with separation when her human needs to leave home without her. She needs ongoing help building her confidence and learning to be comfortable with strangers and in unfamiliar places. However, she loves going for walks and would be a great companion for a casual hiker. And she loves car rides! She's pretty laid-back and enjoys her kick-back-and-do-nothing time - which is often also her chewing time; this girl LOVES a good chew! But she also has spurts of energy when she runs crazy zoomies and eagerly engages in play, especially with squeaky toys, ropes and kongs. She's getting the hang of fetch, and loves to play tag with humans or dogs. Mostly, however, she really just wants to be with her special person. She's super snuggly, and always up for a belly rub. Asuna needs a secure backyard. She won't jump a fence, but would push through a weakness in a fence or might try to dig out if she's alone and worried. Her house manners: she's quiet and rarely barks, and is generally polite. She is house-trained and crate-trained, and she wants to please so quickly picks up on her human's routines and expectations. She already knows some basic obedience commands, walks well on a leash, and has fairly good recall, and she'd love to share her life with someone who is interested in taking her to school and teaching her new things, as that would help build her confidence. She is very teachable, motivated by both treats and praise. Due to neglect Asuna was in poor condition when we took her in, but she is now healthy and feeling good about life. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated up to date, and has been treated for internal and external parasites. HISTORY: Trigger came into rescue in March 2023 as an owner surrender in eastern Washington. She looks to be about a 2-4 year old Boxer / Labrador mix with 3 legs. FOSTER UPDATE: Trigger is doing great and loves going for walks and rolling around in the grass. She has earned her nickname "Sugar" - she is a very sweet dog. She loves to wag, cuddle, get belly rubs, and give kisses. She can be cautious with new people, but she warms up pretty quickly and is a cuddler - leaning in for hugs, gently putting her paw on your leg to ask for snuggles, and laying her head or body on your lap when you sit or lay near her. She has a lot of love to give. She has good coordination and endurance and loves to go on long walks (with little breaks). She gets pretty excited about bunnies and would like to chase them, so she does best walking on a leash. She seems to be more comfortable with smaller dogs rather than bigger dogs. Lab mix puppy NEEDS A FOSTER!! Meet Callie! She and another pup, Capri, have had a really unfair start; they were recently dumped in Eastern WA. Someone witnessed the person dumping them with tied their legs together, presumably so they couldn't run. Isn't that awful?! Both pups are about 6 months old and seem to be in good health. Though we recently noted that Callie does have a tooth that needs to come out, and she still needs her spay. Callie is very friendly and still trusting of people.. She has been described as having "typical lab energy.." She needs someone to continue working on basic training with her. She has bright, friendly, puppy energy. The very best thing about Callie is, she just has a heart of gold. She is a wiggly puppy that sometimes jumps up on you, BUT she is SO affectionate and loyal. She just wants love, and to be loved so bad. She wants to please you. She is quite honestly the most loyal dog we have in our 30 dogs in rescue. She is good with other dogs. She briefly had a foster home for a couple weeks, and loved running and playing at the sniff spot that her foster mom took her too. She will need dogs of similar age and energy though, as she is still quite puppy. Sadly that foster could no longer have her, so we are on the hunt for someone to help her get out of a cage again! She would do best with a calm home environment, with someone who has the time to focus on her, and who is consistent, and ideally working from home or around alot. We are seeking a foster who can match her energy, train her, and also give her a place to recover so she cat get spayed and get her dental work done.
