Story
Meet Bingo, a handsome young pup who may still be growing into his paws, but he's already proven just how resilient he is.Bingo's story began with heartbreak. Abandoned in a backyard with no one to care for him, this resourceful little guy refused to give up. Determined to find a better future, he literally dug his way to freedom—only to end up at a local shelter. Thankfully, before he could become just another face in the system, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan stepped in and brought him to the safety of an animal hospital, where he waited patiently for a rescue to take him until PAWS New England said "yes!"Whoever left Bingo behind will never know the incredible dog they gave up. Their loss is someone else's once-in-a-lifetime best friend. He is everything a puppy should be—happy, goofy, playful, affectionate, and always ready to make you smile. His biggest dilemma each day is deciding whether to chase a toy or roll over for belly rubs first. Bingo adores people, is eager to make new friends, and is growing like a weed! While his breed mix is anyone's guess, one thing is certain—he's going to be a big boy with an even bigger heart.Bingo is searching for a loving, patient family that will never let him wonder where he belongs again. In return, he'll fill your days with puppy kisses, endless laughter, unwavering loyalty, and a lifetime of unconditional love.Name: BingoBreed: Foxhound/American Bulldog   (Breed Mix is not guarantee - no DNA testing has been done)Sex: MaleAge: 25 weeksWeight: 36.0Spayed/Neutered: YesdVaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. All vaccinations required after adoption are the adopter's responsibility.Heartworm: Too youngHousetrained:  Not usuallyMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently:   Tennessee  Puppy Adoption Fee:  $600.00 (includes transport fee when applicable)                                   $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee applies to Massachusetts residents.ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for your benefit and your puppy's, so if you experience behavioral issues, you have a point of contact.  PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Story
Meet Knox! Knox is a handsome 2 year old hound with a heart as big as his adorable, slightly chunky frame. This sweet boy is looking for a quiet, stress free home where he can relax, feel safe, and enjoy life at his own pace. Knox has lived successfully with cats and would be thrilled to have a confident feline friend to keep him company. He could also do well with another calm, easygoing dog who matches his gentle personality. Like many hounds, Knox enjoys good food a little too much, so he's looking for a family committed to helping him shed a few extra pounds through regular walks, playtime, and a healthy diet. A little weight loss will help him feel his best and keep him happy and healthy for years to come. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle soul to join your family, Knox might just be the perfect match!

Story
Meet Annie! Annie is a shy lady searching for a special family. She is a self-proclaimed `homebody` and is looking for adopters who will embrace that. She is a sensitive soul who can take a bit to settle in and open up, but once she is comfortable, she loves finding a comfortable spot on the couch to cuddle up to her favorite humans or to settle with a kong. Don`t let her age fool you--she still has energy and is accustomed to long, leisurely strolls where she can sniff to her heart`s content. Annie has some medical needs that will require a close relationship with a vet. Annie says no thank you to living with dogs but may potentially be able to live with a very dog-savvy cat after careful introductions. Come into the shelter to start the matchmaking process if this old gal sounds like your cup of tea!

Story
Our handsome Fabio is that exceptional, all around family dog, that is rare in rescue. He loves everybody and has not flinched at all during a rescue process that leaves lesser dogs rattled.  We've been trying to piece together Fabio’s backstory, but there's not much to go on. He was found as a country stray, by Animal Control Officers in Charlotte County, North Carolina. Vets say that he is a two year old adult dog.  When no worried owner came forward to collect Fabio, he was transferred to our Connecticut Rescue so that we could script the next chapter of his life.  Throughout the chaotic rescue process, Fabio has been an absolute charmer. He is so full of life, love and personality. He is a gentle, sweet boy who loves everyone. Fabio still has a bit of the puppy Mojo going on, but he is easily exercised with a few daily leash walks. He is a super dog that would do well in any type of environment. Fabio needs a fair amount of exercise and focused playtime so that he does not become bored and get into mischief. He would benefit greatly from ongoing obedience training, which is helpful in providing additional mental stimulation. He is learning his commands, although he can become distracted easily, but he is treat motivated. He responds well to Positive Reinforcement and Leadership techniques, and seems to enjoy his training sessions. He seems to be a confident boy, ready and willing to work. Fabio has good house manners, and is house trained and crate trained. Adopters should expect to troubleshoot the occasional accident that will inevitably occur during his transition to a new home. He has been neutered, and has received routine vaccinations and health screenings.
