Yvette is in foster care in Huntington Beach SO Cal area. Please note this dog is located in SO Calif. Because of the overpopulation and high kill rate of shelter dogs in our area we are trying to find our dogs good homes in other areas. Please contact us for transport information. Yvette is such a nice compact little shepherd girl who is almost 3yrs old and weighs 60 pounds. She has been waiting awhile for a family and her friend we rescued with her has been adopted leaving Yvette alone and waiting. She is gentle and playful with other dogs the same size as her in her playgroup. She likes toys, scampering and bowing around the play yard and is great in the car and on leash. She still has puppy energy and may play a little to hard to be with really small dogs and she doesn't care for kitties. For a family this dog has an amazing personality and does her best to mind and please. Yvette could play ball from sunrise till bedtime and never tires of her favorite toy. She like water and on hot days can be seen splashing contentedly in her kiddie pool. The beach lake or river would be her idea of Heaven. Piper was adopted from the Camarillo Animal Shelter at 4 months old. From the start, she has been the most loyal and affectionate adventure buddy that I could have asked for. She grew up on a farm hunting squirrels and gophers, playing with other dogs, and accompany me on trail rides with horses. More than anything, she took peace in being by my side. Unfortunately, due to a job change, Piper has spent the past year in an apartment with myself, my roommate, and her dog. I am gone most of the day, and while Piper does have some company, I recognize that I can no longer give her the open space and attention that she deserves and needs. Piper will do best in an active household. She loves being outdoors with her family the most.

I adopted Willow from the Palmdale animal shelter when she was six months old, she had already been returned twice and was a super high drive repressed energy dog that needed help, it took quite a bit of training, love, and exercise. But six years later she is now a wonderful driven working type personality dog who loves to do jobs and guard. She is very obedient, knows tons of tricks, I have her scent trained, she is also a great hunter. She is good on a leash but can be reactive towards other dogs. She is the greatest dedicated loving companion that will literally follow you from room to room. My career unfortunately has been taking me away a lot. It breaks my heart but I feel that Willow needs to be alone less, We have had a great life together. I know she will make a great loving and dedicated companion for someone who is a true dog enthusiast.
