I am looking for a loving home for an 8.5 year old GSD. I am his original owner, he was placed with a family who can no longer keep him. I am taking him back to alleviate their stress but would like to place him as I have dogs in the house that do not get along with others. He is OFA Excellent/Normal and has a ton of obedience and service dog training under his belt. He is rusty but would be appropriate for that use. He is kennel trained but does not need to be kenneled, gets along with cats and other dogs, and loves kids. He is 8.5 but still a high energy dog, he lives for fetch and running. He is noisy, as many GSDs are. Not nuisance barking, but can be whiny when excited. He is still intact, up to date on shots. He has an import pedigree, I can send to anybody interested. His AKC papers are still in my name and can be transferred if desired. I am not asking any rehoming fee, I would just like to find him a loving home.

Story
Oso is a gentle giant senior looking to spend his golden years in a loving home. Oso ended up at a shelter in New Mexico at the age of 8 years old. He was not thriving in a shelter environment, and we were lucky enough to be able to move him up to Colorado and into a foster home. Oso is about 85 lbs and likely a purebred German Shepherd. He has had full bloodwork and x-rays done, and seems to be very healthy! He loves food of any kind, and is smart and motivated to please. He enjoys long walks despite some arthritis in his spine, which we're currently treating with joint supplements and appropriate diet. Oso is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and Heartworm-negative. Oso is good with other dogs, and takes correction from other dogs well. We have not seen him with cats or small kids yet. Rios is a 4-year old German Shepherd mix. She was the love of my daughters life until my daughter passed away in November 2025. I would keep her but already have two working Dutch Shepherds myself that I travel with for dock diving and for human remains detection on my Larimer County Search and Rescue team. Rios is a beautiful, spayed female German Shepherd Mix looking for a new home. Rios previous owner recently passed and she is looking for her new person. She is a four-year old, active female who would make an excellent hiking partner but also has an off switch to cuddle up on the bed or couch with her person. She is up to date on all vaccinations and is currently in a professional training program in Northern Colorado. Owners family is willing to transport if you are a good fit.

Eclipse is a German Shepherd puppy from New Mexico. She is very sweet and smart, and has already learned to sit and is working on her leash manners. She is kennel trained and very food motivated so she's easy to train. She is about 8 months old and great with other dogs. She loves all people, and children, and is very sweet with them. She is fairly quiet in her kennel and would do best in a home committed to training, socialization, and preferably with other dogs or those with German Shepherd experience.
