Story
Rosso is a very sweet, excited boy. He loves to play with dogs and humans alike! He’s still getting used to crate training and is housetrained! He knows "sit", "down", "shake" and "spin" and is treat and touch motivated to learn other commands. Rosso has a lot of energy and does well with plenty of enrichment and side by side time. After a long walk, he loves to lay near you while you cook dinner or watch tv (and he might even watch your favorite show with you!). He loves other forms of enrichment between meals and before bedtime, such as snuffle mats, lick mats, and digging through a box full of cardboard for treats

You're not just adopting, you're saving a life and fueling another rescue journey! *Our Mission* At All Aboard Animal Rescue, our mission is to address the global pet overpopulation crisis through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. We are dedicated to making a difference by providing essential resources and compassionate care to enhance the quality of life for animals. As their voice, we advocate for their well-being by raising awareness about the shelter crisis, promoting responsible pet guardianship, and ensuring the compassionate treatment of all animals. *Our Vision* We envision a world where every animal is understood with empathy, treated with kindness and respect, and where the unique bond between humans and animals is cherished — enriching all lives. *Spay & Neuter is required by law in Colorado, helping to break the cycle of unwanted litters.* Please consider supporting our mission. Story
Lucy is an extremely sweet, funny, and playful dog. She loves other dogs, kids, and has been friends with cats in the past, although we don't have one. We adopted her from Animal Friends Alliance, and she is approximately 4-5 years old. She loves walks, playing, and snuggling. She has not shown a lot of interest in toys, but she likes some treats! She is a calm dog indoors and very rarely barks. She does have some separation anxiety and does not do well when left alone for long periods of time, so we are looking for someone who will spend a lot of time with her. I recently got a new job and will no longer be able to be home with her during the day as much as she needs. She would be perfect with someone who works from home and is able to be there with her a lot. We crate her when we leave the house, so she is crate trained, but it is not her favorite place to be, and she gets a little anxious. We would love to find Lucy a home where she can get the love and attention that she deserves!

Story
Polaris is a young girl who was found dumped on the side of the road with a bag of dog food dumped on the ground as her only help for survival. A good samaritan picked her up and contacted me. Help Polaris never face that kind of treatment again by giving her a forever home. She is very sweet and friendly and great with other dogs and people and kids. She definitely has a prey drive though, which is not at all unusual for dogs, so no kitties or small animals. She walks well on the leash and does well in a crate. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative) Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 FAQs (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://docs.google.com/document/d/12eb_SRtk1AzaBl87UltcLJ24MjH9UhQm_LE77iWZEQA/edit?tab=t.0 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95
