Story
Sunny is roughly 5 years old and was adopted from a shelter 2 years ago. She is an amazing girl with so much love to give but sadly I wont have the time for her in the upcoming months with me starting school. She is an amazing dog and I love her with my whole heart but I want to make sure her happiness is prioritized. She is reactive towards other dogs but has the ability to get better with time. A little about her - She loves the word biscuit and anytime she gets a biscuit! - She is eager to learn/love! - She is beyond intelligent and loving - She loves toys (especially blue ones) - She is a very quick learner! - She knows sit, stay, speak. Some requirements for her new home - MUST have a yard!! She is very energetic and needs space to get her zoomies out! - No small kids! She is impatient with children but would do fine with teens. Upon rehoming, she will come with a large kennel, toys, a coat, nail clippers, dog bed, lick mats, food bowls, harness, and a few other things!

Story
This German Shepherd is Max. He is a purebred boy who turned 1 year old in December. He likes to go on walks, hikes, and exercise in general. For me he needs to be well fed and well hydrated. He is a fast learner, he has learned a few tricks like sitting, holding hands, lying down and waiting (let's say I go get him a treat). He has also been trained to go potty outside while he cries or lightly knocks on the door. He is also a good pet to cheer you up and he will always follow your instructions and will eat almost anything.

Story
Ellie is a 9year old Shepherd, she is loving and very vocal (loves to talk) she still has tons of energy but has to go easy with her hips. Ellie knows, sit, stay, leave it, up, down, shake and speak. She is fine being left alone in the house and loves to be by your side when you are home. She is on medication for environmental allergies and requires ear cleaning and ointment biweekly to keep her allergies at bay. She does great with kids and loves to please you and play.

Story
Hiro is a 45 lbs, 7 year old, German Shepherd mix that lost his home (along with his two canine siblings) when his family moved and didn’t take them. Since coming to CO, Hiro joined a fun foster family with other dogs and kiddos. He’s in heaven! Hiro is adjusting well, but we think he would appreciate a more mature home. He’s active and adventurous and will do well with an active home and a fenced in yard. He’s house and crate trained. Hiro enjoys playing with his canine foster siblings and snuggling on the couch with his foster moms. You can also find him sprawling across the bed in his best “paint me like a french girl” pose. Hiro is in foster in Parker, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/hiro. Story
Jam is a very special, 6 month old, male, German Shepherd/Pittie mix. This boy is already 60 lbs!!! He has the sweetest temperament and has been raised in a loving foster home since he was a wee little worm. Jam loves humans and he loves dog friends. He is house trained, crate trained, and well on a leash. He is adventure seeking, snuggle loving, and enjoys playtime! His foster mom says he’s the world’s best snuggler! Jam was born in a small, underfunded shelter in Texas. He came to CO with his mom and littermates at just a couple weeks old. When it came time to be adopted, it was discovered that Jam had a problem with the mitral valve in his heart. The specialists recommended he be rechecked when he was a bit older. So, Jam hung out in his foster home while he continued to grow (and grow and grow). On March 1st, Jam had a follow-up echocardiogram and it was discovered his heart issue had resolved!! We were thrilled. He does have a very mild case of Tricuspid Valve Dysplasia, but it is believed he will outgrow this, as well. He presently lives a normal life, takes no medications, and will just need a follow-up appt when he’s about a year old to see how his heart has grown. Jam is in foster in Englewood, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/jam You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
Sage! Please meet our tri-colored beauty, Sage. This gal is 4 months old. Sage is smart as a whip and is looking for a GSD savvy home with an appreciation for a girl with beauty AND brains. Sage is awesome and playful with other dogs. She alert barks appropriately when meeting new people but quickly warms up to strangers. Sage is also doing very well with her house training. She’s looking for a forever family with a fenced in yard and plenty of love to give. We feel a home with another dog would be helpful for her. She is not a fan of being crated and will require patient humans to help her through that process, if it’s a desired by her forever humans. Sage is in foster in LaPorte, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/sage-2/.
