Story
We adopted Bella when she was 8 weeks old. She is now about a 1 year and 8 months old. She is energetic, likes to play with toys, go on walks, swim and is also a pretty good cuddler. However, she either jumps on people or gets scared of them, barks and runs around the house when seeing or hearing things outside, and digs in furniture, probably from anxiety or trying to burn energy. She also will not stay outside alone or with my other dog, she scratches to come in.I work from home so it just getting to be too much. I think in the future with time or the right person, she can break these habits.

Story
Aspen is a stunning 3-year-old German Shepherd, and he’s flipped the script! He’s not just looking for a home; he has a few requests of his own to find his perfect humans. 🐕✨ Aspen is ready for adventure, but he’s looking for a very specific match. Aspen's Requirements: 🏃‍♂️ Must Be an Active Family: If you love being on the move, he’s your guy. 🐕 Must have a Doggie Sibling: A furry brother or sister is a must-have for this social boy! No Cats 📚 A home office hero or someone away for 6 hours or less. He's a social butterfly who stays happiest (out of trouble) when he has plenty of quality time with his pack. 🏡 Must Have a Fenced Yard: He needs a secure spot to zoom and patrol. 🚶‍♂️ Must Be a Walk Enthusiast: He is not just a yard dog, Aspen lives for long, rambling walks and exploring. 👨‍👩‍👧 Older Kids Only: He prefers a mature crew (14+ please!) as he does get mouthy when he plays sometimes. Understanding the Shepherd breed is a huge plus, but if you’re active and committed, he’s ready to teach you the ropes. If you’re looking for an adventure partner who will keep life exciting, Aspen is waiting! Our adoption process includes a home visit and veterinarian and/or personal check. Safe Paws Rescue is a small rescue in St. Petersburg, FL so we accept inquiries from residents in Pinellas County only, please. Story
Hi – My name is Chadwick.I LIKE: being around people, getting attention, and showing off my happy, excited personality.I KNOW: I’m still learning my manners. Sometimes I get a little too excited and might jump or grab the leash, but I’m working on it and trying my best. I’m also practicing my Sit!IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE: sweet, young, and ready to grow with you, I could be your guy. I’d love someone who can give me guidance and help me keep learning.I AM SPECIAL BECAUSE: I’m a loving 1.5-year-old who just gets excited about life. I do shed a bit, but in return you get a loyal, affectionate companion who just wants to be your best friend. And I have the cutest ears the flop!
