Story
Ruby is a HAPPY, social, outgoing LOVE. This staff favorite enjoys meeting new people, and getting all the lubbins.💕Currently in a shelter in Alabama, we have been lucky enough to get a FLorida foster. Ruby will be coming to Florida next Friday the 28th. She will be vetted, spayed and assessed. We would like a shepherd savvy adopter. Her heartworm treatment has been sponsored, so if you are considering her, please google fast kill and slow kill heartworm treatments. It is not difficult and really just involves low level exercise as opposed to high level exercise. ie kicking a ball for her to chase as opposed to throwing a disc /swimming/laps around the yard. Training, bonding, manners class are all good things to do during heartworm treatment. Ruby does need a little training, she tends to jump up and tugs some on leash. For that reason, she might accidentally knock down really little kids. Older kids would be perfect. But she absolutely ADORES the kiddos. And while she's a little older, she still has a lot of puppy playfulness. Ruby does test well with other dogs, mostly ignores. Please share this gorgeous, good girl. She really will make the perfect family dog. She is Light Heartworm Positive, but there are low cost, "Slow Kill" inexpensive treatment options for that. Slow kill heartworm treatment involves nothing more than heartworm prevention monthly. She will be fostered in the Venice area. Apps can be found at ewenityfarmsbch.com.. Thank you!!

Story
Reno is a young, high energy, high drive working line German Shepherd Dog. He absolutely requires an experienced owner. He would not do good as an active pet, he is only available as a sport or working prospect. He would most likely excel as a single purpose K9. He loves to play and engage with toys and has endless hunt drive. He also loves food. He is still a puppy and learning the world. Clear-headed, stable, and people friendly. Can be trained to be more neutral. No noise sensitivity. Adapts quickly to new environments. Clean and quiet in crate but does have some FOMO which can also easily be trained. Sports-wise he would be an excellent beginner dog. He would love to participate in Fast Cat, barn hunt, scent work, dock diving, and obedience/rally. He’s your do-it-all guy. Reno would love to have one or two young and similar sized playmates in his new home but can do ok on his own with enough enrichment He is currently going through heartworm treatment. He is a very mild case and will recover quickly. His new adopter will need to follow through with his treatment which is covered by the rescue.

Story
Rocco is available for adoption due to owner traveling schedule. I rescued him about 3 yrs ago so I don’t know anything about his puppy years. He is 7 yo and has a very calm demeanor - not afraid of loud sounds or fireworks. He does very well with other dogs at daycare but has shown leash reactivity when I’m walking him by other dogs. He’s a protector and will bark at delivery people. And he thinks every delivery is something for him lol. Rocco is house trained and has never had an accident since I’ve had him. He doesn’t care to get on furniture but loves his dog bed where you’ll find him throughout the day. He’s quite the looker and has more friends in the neighborhood than I lol. If you’re looking for a calm, easy going mature dog, then Rocco could be your perfect match.
