Story
Ranger is a 1 year old purebred German Shepherd born 10/28/24. We brought him home from a Florida breeder at eight weeks old and he was recently neutered on 02/25/26. Ranger is a loyal, intelligent shepherd who loves being close to his people. He enjoys playing ball, swimming, and will happily follow you from room to room. Ranger will thrive in a calm, structured home with an experienced German Shepherd owner who understands the breed’s needs. A quieter household with adults or older teens would be ideal. Someone who works from home or lives a slower lifestyle would be a great match. He is crate trained, very smart, and learns quickly. Ranger does best with calm leadership, routine, and confidence building. Ranger has done well with medium to large dogs when properly introduced. This has been a heartbreaking decision for our family, and we are committed to finding Ranger a home where he can truly thrive. Personality: Loyal, intelligent, goofy, playful, energetic, athletic.

Story
Beautiful 3 years old Female GSD. My health is not very good. It is hard for me to walk her and or exercise her. Nova knows her commands. Sit, down, stay, come, wait, heal, leave it, side and guard. She needs someone that can make her life complete. I'm turning 71 in May, and my body cannot handle her too much longer.

Story
ASPEN IS ALL EARS! 🐾 ADOPT ME Meet Aspen, an extraordinarily handsome 3-year-old all-white Shepherd mix who is waiting for his forever family! At 70 lbs, he’s a big guy with an even bigger heart. 🤍 Why you’ll fall in love with Aspen: • A Total Goofball: He’s sweet, trusting, and guaranteed to make you smile every single day. • The Perfect "White Shadow": Whether you’re chilling at a coffee shop, or running errands, Aspen is right by your side. • Social Butterfly: He thrives with other dogs and would LOVE a doggy sibling to play and burn off energy with. 🐕 • Smart & Gentle: He walks beautifully on a leash and loves learning new tricks. His Ideal Home: Aspen does great with big dogs, small dogs, and older kids (14+). Because he can get a little "zoomie-happy" and his breed is a little mouthy when playing he forgets his size, a home without small children is best. Ready to meet your new best friend? 🖤 Contact SafePawsRescue.com Our adoption process includes a home visit and veterinarian and/or personal check. Safe Paws Rescue is a small rescue in St. Petersburg, FL so we accept inquiries from residents in Pinellas County only, please. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to   info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com   MEET STORMIE  Looking for a smart, loving best friend with a built-in smile? Stormie might be your girl! Stormie is a 10-month-old female German Shepherd who found her way to Heidi’s Rescue after her original owner realized puppy life wasn’t the right fit. She arrived very underweight, but thanks to her love of treats (and her talent for learning tricks), she’s doing amazing and thriving in foster care.  She’s a “pocket” GSD and will likely top out around 50 lbs—perfect if you love shepherds but don’t want a giant one. Stormy is extremely smart, a fast learner, and can pick up new tricks in minutes, especially if snacks or playtime are involved. Despite being a puppy, she’s refreshingly easy:  Sleeps through the night  Loves her crate (it’s her safe place!)  Moderate energy—two walks a day + mental stimulation and she’s happy  Can entertain herself when needed Stormie is affectionate, joyful, and truly lights up a room with her smile. Her favorite things are pets from her person and playing throw (she’s still working on the “bring it back” part ). Important info for the right match:  Not a fan of other dogs in home  Prefers being fed in her crate due to past food insecurity  Not suitable for homes with cats or very small children (she loves to chase!)  Would do well with older, respectful kids who enjoy snuggles Stormie would thrive with a family experienced with working breeds who can offer structure, consistency, and love—the things she’s been missing and absolutely deserves. She’s a happy little ray of sunshine ready to bond deeply with her person.  Could Stormie be the one to light up your life?  Stormie's adoption fee is $500 -  Obedience training after adoption and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups To apply to foster or adopt please fill out application at www.heidislegacydogrescue.com/apply-to-foster-or-adopt Thank you for completing the application.
