Story
My name is Beau and I've had a rough start for my young age.   I was brought to animal control when someone found me but my owners have not bothered to come get me, so i've been a little sad about that.  I have a friendly temperment, but prefer female dogs over male dogs.  The rescue paid for a vet visit, neuter and updated my shots, so  I am really ready for my new home as soon as possible!  I also have a micrcochip now so hopefully I will never be lost again   Please!   Apply for me, Beau, online at buttsmutts.com   ##1698946##

Story
Sweet Macie is ready for her puppy-free depute! Macie grew up in a field… before ending up pregnant at just a year old. Unfortunately, being a mama doesn’t allow time for socialization or exposure to life outside of the field. With her mama days over, Macie is ready to experience the world. She needs YOU to do that! Macie loooooves people, belly rubs, snuggles, and treats. She has done well with large submissive male dogs with slow introductions. Macie is around 1.5 years old, 45 pounds, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She has not had any potty accidents in her temp foster home since she was pregnant (and she couldn't help that -- she was carrying 8 babies after all!) APPLY TO ADOPT: joyspromise.org/adopt

Story
Have you ever wanted a pet that loves you and your family and no one else? That will adore you and their pack, but outsiders are viewed with caution? Well, meet Shirley. Shirley is a semi-feral pup. She was born apx May 2018. Shirley was trapped with her siblings by animal control. It will take patience and trust to seek human company.  Shirley is ok with most other dogs and is fine with cats, actually a bit scared of some of them. She loves our office kitty Dean and he loves her. She loves her toys; she will run around with them and do zoomies. She will bond with her family and be a devoted family member. All it takes is time and patience.  Shirley is available for foster to adopt. This will allow Street Paws to provide all the help and support their new family needs to begin their lives together. Ferals make excellent pets with just a little time. They usually are very laid-back and easy dogs once you gain their trust.  A home with a fenced-in yard or kennel for potty time is strongly encouraged. She is not an ideal dog for children. Contact us if you are interested in becoming a member of our growing Street Paws pack! She currently lives at our office. She has a doggie door that she uses to get into her outdoor house. She zoomies when she sees her caretaker arrive. Loves treat time! She likes to sneak the cat food bowls and take them to her bed. She did great with her recent vet checkup.  https://youtu.be/E8A4Ed-xgUg Shirley's adoption is limited to Metro Atlanta due to her needs and to allow us to assist in her transition, certain circumstances may allow exceptions. To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at https://streetpaws.org/adopting/dog-puppy-pre-adoption-application/. This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. Our adoption fee is $250. They have been given age-appropriate vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary, dewormed, have received flea prevention, and are micro-chipped. We will ensure the microchip is registered. If more information is needed regarding the pet email info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to obtain approval to meet the pet. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
She was adopted from the shelter and is so sweet natured and a lover. She’s high energy and needs a lot of excercise. She loves walking and running and definitely loves attention. Potty trained and well mannered. She’s 2 yrs old and just needs more time and attention. My work is now causing me to be out of town a lot and it’s not fair to her. A fenced in yard would be ideal for her to run and play. She’s very smart and she is obsessed with ice cubes! Lol she will run to the freezer when she hears you getting ice. She knows sit, shake, spin and lay down. She’s a great family dog!

These pups are in Jackson, Georgia too!

Story
Hi Humans!! I’m ACE.  When I arrived at Butts County Animal Control a few weeks ago, my spirit was horribly broken. Every sound, movement or touch made me so nervous, and I was timid around everyone who tried to get to know me.  But NOW!  The humans here have shown me so much love!  And that’s something I’ve never really experienced before. Humans haven’t always been kind to me, but like most dogs, I’m very forgiving. I’ve even decided I’d like to have a few humans of my very own!  Do you know anyone who knows my breed and would like to share their life and home with a handsome Malinois like me?   The only thing still broken now is my beautiful left ear. No one really understands why I can’t lift it, but it  doesn’t slow me down of course. Just makes me unique and slightly more adorable.  When I leave this place, I sure will miss the female  dog friends I’ve made.  My favorite friend is Kenya. She and I get along so well that our humans often let us play together outside in the play yard but now she's been adopted so I'm lonely again.   However, I am not too fond of male dogs, at all.   And during temperment testing, I snapped at my handler briefly when I was corrected so I will need to be adopted by someone with breed expereience with Belgian Malinois, who will put in lots of time to train me and work with me.   Apply online to foster or adopt me at buttsmutts.com    ##1655184##
