Meet Shai 🐾 She is 2 years old (turning 3 in April) and has the biggest heart. She’s playful, full of energy, and loves to run and have fun — but she’s just as happy being a cuddle bug on the couch right next to her person. Once she bonds with you, she’ll stick by your side and be your little shadow.Shai has a fun, unique personality and thrives on love, attention, and affection. She would do great in a home where she can get plenty of playtime and companionship. She will come with her crate and supplies, and I have her medical records.Due to an unexpected emergency, she needs a new home or foster ASAP.Please message me if you can help or share this post. Finding Shai a safe home quickly is extremely important. 💛🐶

Story
I found Bella in April of 2025 unfortunately as a two month old pup with five of her sisters. I took her home in hopes of giving her the home she will be taking care of greatly. It has been one year since I have got her and she more healthier than ever. Starting at 7lbs she is an active 64lb energetic 1year old. I am looking for someone to adore her and give her the active attention she deserves. Bella is active, energetic, happy and silly.

Story
Roxy is a goofy, silly girl with a huge heart and an even bigger love for life. All she really wants is someone to love her and a buddy to play with—she’s happiest when she’s being her playful, joyful self. Her story hasn’t been an easy one. Roxy was found on the side of the road in the rain after being hit by a vehicle, suffering multiple serious injuries including a broken shoulder, tail, femur, and even a break in her back. Thanks to the incredible team at Auburn University, she received life-saving surgery and care—and today, she’s doing amazingly well. Because of what she’s been through, Roxy does have some lingering PTSD, but she continues to grow more confident every day. She’ll need a patient, understanding home that will support her as she continues to heal and thrive, especially as she gets older. Roxy absolutely loves people and is wonderful with kids, though she can be a bit jumpy when she gets excited, so a home without very small children would be best. She also loves cats… unfortunately, the feeling isn’t always mutual. She would truly shine in a home with another friendly, playful dog who can be her companion. Due to her injuries and breed, Roxy cannot be spayed until she is at least one year old to allow her body to grow as strong as possible. Her future family will need to provide proof of spay when the time comes. Roxy has been through so much, but she hasn’t let it dim her spirit. She’s resilient, loving, and ready to find a home that will cherish her just as much as she’ll cherish them. Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at  https://www.streetpaws.org/adopt. T his application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. Our adoption fee is $400 . She has been given age-appropriate vaccinations, receives monthly heartworm prevention, dewormed, receives flea prevention, and will be micro-chipped. We will ensure the microchip is registered. If more information is needed regarding the pet email info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to obtain approval to meet the pet. Story
'Courtesy Post' This is not a Street Paws animal but we are assisting with placing their pet. MEET 'BROTHER' Brother has been completely vetted which includes microchipping, neutering, ALL current and up to date vaccinations, rabies vaccine, heartworm testing, heartworm and flea prevention and completed deworming. Brother is a very sweet boy! He is very active and loves hiking and being outdoors. He is super playful and LOVES water! He has a very unique story that is very compelling and heartfelt. We are extremely grateful that we could help this precious family in need and feel honored to have had the opportunity to work along side his foster family. Brother was being fostered by a license and trained dog trainer and animal care foster. She named him from the movie ' brother where art thou'. His foster /trainer worked day and night to train him, foster him with adequate care and be a advocate for him finding his forever home. Unfortunately, his foster was brutally attacked by a man she was trying to help. He has caused intensive suffering, pain, trauma and irreversible damage to her body and spirit. Although our shelter stays very full especially with larger breed dogs.....I knew I had to help this amazing family. I also wanted to take the load off of the family with uncertainty where Brother may go and be cared for at. .. allowing their family to focus on recovery. The family has been outstanding and so generous in the darkest times. I feel honored to be apart of this journey. Brother is a outstanding boy! He is very smart and would make a incredible addition to a home and family. If you love being outdoors and dog cuddles this boy is for you! Story
Meet maby. A handsome shepherd/lab cross. Mabry is a young male current on all vet care, chipped, and neutered. Although a young adult he does have puppy energy. Romeo is very good boy when he is in his crate at night. We think he enjoys this safe space. Although new to his foster home mabry has not had one accident in the home. Mabry is happy to be close to his people and would love a playmate in the home. He likes to play so even better if he gets a furry sibling. Mabry loves to go for walks and play with his toys. He is very smart and takes correction quickly. He is eager to please. If you can offer mabry an active and loving home please send us an email inquiry. We are happy to help answer any additional questions. Adairsville GA.January 29, 2025, 11:55 pm

Story
Hi. This lovely lady is Miss Lulu. She is 6 years old and we have had her since she was maybe 6 months old. She is a very loving and affectionate lady. She is incredibly smart and follows direction so well. She gets along great with other dogs once she gets to know them. She doesn't mind the cat. They keep away from each other. She has been great with kids and new people. We unfortunately do need to rehome due to her not doing well at all with other small creatures outside the home. IE rabbits chickens ducks. No matter what measures taken she still succeeds. I cant keep losing other family members due to another loved one. Please Help. This baby needs a loving, small animal-free home.
